Vincent_to_Chaos Zing0619 Zarrius was now walking in a seemingly endless corridor.... He began to get annoyed he lined his blade with anubian energy then jumped into the air and sliced a slash of anubian energy would go and hit 3 symbols on the ceiling and 3 on the floor with the other hand Zarrius flung three knives at the left wall all made contact with the symbols. Zarrius then launched himself back wards and got ready for a lash back. ((Sorry man CRAZY busy lately.)) One unexpected fact was a hand promply makeing a very quick swing at the back of Zarrius' head as if to backhand him. If it hit, it wouldn't injure him but it could easily hurt like hell.Meanwhile, on Earth, a entirely new force had entered the war unexpectedly and very much aware of what was going on. Massively armored figures watched the massive clearing that had been created by flattening an ancient and elrich forest that for all its might, could not stand to their weapons. Futuristic knights prowled the edge of the woods, watching for demon and angel alike.
As these fantastic people were near the edge of the ten mile by ten mile area ( roughly circular ) a virtual horde of rather normal men were building a massive fortress of steel and concrete bristling with weapons never before seen on this world to protect it from land and air.
Massive motorpools had men that were more machine then human working on fearsome vehicles of wars, sometimes praying, sometimes actually physically repairing the vehicles.
In the middle of this half-finished fortress of humanity's might was a lost son of divininty, a lost primarch along with a general of some sort. The Dread Knights Space Marines and the Imperial Guard army of the Deathkorps of Krieg had arrived en-masse, and their presence could not be ignored. A certain figure was standing on a cliff overseeing this production, taking watch of the construction of some new fortress and the new force that was continuing to raise as a threat. The figure was a member of Cruxis, the one known as Dom...

[ I'm going to assume your distance, since otherwise the Grey Knights would have detected you, or rather, anyone paying attention. ]
They seemed not to notice him, but Psykers within the fortress grew uneasy, somewhat feeling his ripple in the surpriseingly calm Warp. While the world they came from was simply spread into three ideas. The Materum or Normal Space, The Innmaturm, or the Warp where Chaos resided, and the Webways, the interconnecting tunnels in space and time inbetween the two realms.
Here, it was into five parts. The first was the Earth itself, the second was the Webways, these more contested as both Heaven and Hell and many other groups could gain access to them. The third and fourth was naturally Heaven and Hell themselfs. Lastly was simply the Warp, the energy inbetween everything. But it had yet to feel the faint of Chaos, something that would benefit the Imperium forces here for a good time to come.
[ I just wish I could get into a major battle to have fun with this...I wish to unleash a Warhound Titan. ]

Dom was collecting information, and everything needed to research this new found enemy. He kept a good distance away from the threat and over growing construction. He would gather as much information as he could before waiting to act on orders...

Much of the information was hard to tell, given the fact that they were entirely knew and much of their tech beyond the current ken. It didn't help most minds outside the range of the psykers' protective bubble basically were good enough on their own to prevent mental intrusion. Visual information was helpful, given that much of the complex was built, but so much more had yet to be so information right now would be incomplete.
Within the Command Structure, the Primarch was strapping on his Power Armor, blessing it's spirit before strapping on fearsome Lighting Claws and wrist mounted Stormbolters. He was prepareing for something and much of the Dread Knights within the complex were prepareing as well, as they could tell something had their leader on edge.

Dom wasn't as dumb as he may have looked, if they could see him anyway, he was hidden from eyes using a mirage effect with his abilities. He could see them preparing for war, and some of the technology wasn't hard to figure out just by how it was used or look what it was for or capable of. Everything may have been incomplete, but Dom wasn't going anywhere for awhile...

"rain... rain... go away..... come again another day..... old men go down to their graves.. while young men come out to play..." Kono sang slowly, continually repeating. He sat on an old rotting log.. back up against a tree, heavy rain pouring down over his face... yet only his face seemed to get wet, the rest of his cloths dry as can be. "Rain... rain....... go away.. come again another day.. old men go down to their graves......." he finished with a slight smile on his face. "why must you sing that song? Its soo.. depressing...." "It calms me down.. its.. relaxing.." "Only for you kono... only for you.." "Take it how you may but you can't do anything about it." "Lucky for you..." "Lucky for me....." Kono sits there... with no reply coming back to him..."Come and go as you please.. that's soo like you.."

[ Doesn't help him understand the devastation of it. He can understand what it might do, but not the extract function and result. Such as a Bolter....mean gun that one. ]
Still, it didn't help conceal him from the Liberians, the attached Grey Knights, and the Psykers of the Deathkorps here. And it was incomplete enough that it would be weeks before it was entirely complete, though it seemed the defenses were made first.

Once Sera was done whispering what Cruxis was all about the demon would slowly pull away and take in all that had been said. "Steed huh...I guess it'll take some getting used to. I guess I could use an update to my mask as well." Letting out a light chuckle his animal bone mask would slowly shift and contort into a different shape. The mask slowly took the shape of a cat head with a very intricate tiger design on the front of the mask.

This mask had no opening in it that were visible, no cracks or scratches and seemed to be perfect in every way possible. The steel that made up the mask of the tiger was actually very thin and transparent, at least to Steed they were. No one would be able to see though the mask, but Steed were very capable of peering out of the mask as if it weren't even there. "So shall we move on to our current mission now that I have a fitting attire."

Zarrius who had been using Giantsmiter to look for any kinds of life or anything even closely related to that felt the hand move and ducked using his free hand to use the coin of Fate to turn it into This and would try to shove the longer of the two ends into any intruder. Zarrius however fast had been surprised that such an unlikely fact had happened so he took slight blow but nothing that would affect him.

Sera snuggled his mask back on and snapped it close. After hearing the reassuring click that it was locked on and feeling the porcelain grace his face again, he cracked his neck and spoke up, "Yes, for far too long I have been inactive. Let us do something about that, agreed?

"Agreed. I shall follow your lead on this one Sera. Let us bring the word of Salvation to those that have tried to avoid it so far." Steed would wait for Sera to make his move and follow him on this one and play his role when needed and only then.

Sax sat quietly at the corner table in a quiet section of the dark, cheap restaurant. Watering holes like this were hard to find, and Sax tended to stick around for as long as he could once he found one. They were like oases in the ravaged world, and settlements tended to spring up around them, forming their own tiny city-states outside the control of the theocratic religious armies.
Sax had been hanging around this one for about a week, renting a room in a nearby complex and working as a guard. He was trying to save up as much money as he could, since he'd certainly need it when he moved on. His tenures in these small towns often only lasted until some fanatical nut set up shop and started annoying the locals. Sax was fairly non-denominational, and thus a heretic to most of said fanatics. It was more trouble than it was worth to argue with them, and there were laws against killing them. The best solution was simply to pack up and leave.
It wasn't like it was hard to set up shop elsewhere. Most of his belongings fit in his satchel, and good washing habits allowed him to minimize the amount of clothes he needed. The major difficulty was in walking between the few city-states he actually knew about. The few surviving transit lines didn't run out in the wildnerness, so he usually ended up walking, carrying a tarp to form a lean-to, his clothes, his weapons, a journal, and a few other small essentials and sentimentals that he could fit in a satchel and the pockets of his coat.
At the moment, he was off work, and he had a spare few hours to eat at the restaurant and record some of his thoughts in his journal. For example, how he had finally found a new book to read to pass the time, or how he found one of the waitresses attractive and bemoaning his inmpotence in romance. Occasionally he thought for a while about things such as the afterlife, the new Cruxis religion, and pursuit of joy. His thoughts made sense to him, and he often enjoyed reading them to himself later, but it would have been embarrasing, not to mention fairly damning if someone got into it. He had realized long ago that the way he wrote was more expressive and revealing than he ever was in person.
His drink had run out, so he finally decided to wrap up what he had been writing. Refills weren't free.
Sax slipped the book and pencil back into the satchel, pushing aside a spare shirt to make room, then paid his bill and stepped outside into the bright dirt street, holding his glaive like a staff. The ramshackle and near-impoverished town had a quiet, peaceful feel to it that Sax loved, so different from the cities where the crazed religious fought each other for no good reason that Sax could support with logic.
The lovely peace was broken by a barely-coherent harangue by a man in white robes standing on a nearby corner. Probably one of the more-annoying priests of heaven. While Sax had nothing against the religion and its ideals, the self-riteousness and intolerance of the priests tended to reflect everything he disliked about organized religion. Odds were the fool would call him out for wearing black and not joining him in his crazy yelling.
Sure enough, as soon as Sax was sure he'd gotten past, the man grabbed him by the arm.
"Repent, man! What evils hast thou committed that thou wear black? Come and swear your faith to the heavens, as we all must!" The fanatic yelled.
Sax shook him off and tried to continue on his way, but the madman grabbed him again. This guy was tenacious.
"If thou dost not repent and join the faith, thou art destined for hell!"
Sax slammed the heel of his hand into the man's jaw savagely. He had even less patience for this than normal. "Let go!"
The man went down like a stick doll in a stiff wind and lay in the dirt. No one attempted to help him.
Sax sighed. After that, there was no way he'd be left alone. He'd have to leave town. Again. At least he didn't owe any more rent for his room.
As he strode irritably down the street, wondering how he would make his way through the next week, or where he could go. He'd been chased out of the last few cities in this direction, and he had no real plans for the future.
A colorful poster half-torn from the doors of an abandoned church unexpectedly provided the answer. It was a call to the Cruxis cause. They were being picked at constantly from all sides, and they could certainly use some hired help. He tore down the poster, memorizing the name of the city written at the bottom. It wasn't on his list of favorite locations, but he knew where it was, even if it was a trek of at least a week and a half through barren land.
Sax pulled an apple out of his satchel and set his feet on a hopeful course west to join the Cruxis.

Sera reached into his cloak and checked each pocket. Good, both guns are there. Klick. There goes the safety, let's go. With a few gestures, a window of the tower faded away. "This will take us outside, through the southern mountains. We will be able to avoid the crowds that way. Sera then jumped up to the window sill, and turned towards Steed,
Try to keep up With that, Sera left the tower, the first time in over 2 years. From mountain to mountain he hoped, heading towards the nearest shrine to hell.
