*Mercy nuzzled Lady once last time before turning around and smiling sinisterly at Max, walkign over slowly she leered then leaned forward and abruptly kissed his cheek to see if he had the same reaction that he used to.* "Good to see you again Gary." *She spoke only to him before pushing Lissa infront of her.* "Lissa Gary, Gary Lissa. . . . actually everyone in this room should be introduced. Lissa is the servant of my family. For ages Vultures have aided Pure Bloods, so really just think of him as nothing more then a future taxidermy!" *She giggled, but it wasn't her normal cutesy giggle and she let go of his leash and left him stnaidn in the middle of the room looking almost shy and completely out of place. Mercy knew it was mean to just throw him in but wanted to see how he handled himself with her family clan members.*
*Looking around timidly Lissa sighed finding a focus point on the floor as he was taught to do as a young boy when adressing anyone of higher status. His long gray hair didn't match his youthful face. But his eyes were purely innocent and more child like then that of Mercy's.* "It. . . . . " *He cleared his thoat and looked up.* "It is very nice to meet everyone. My Lady. . . . she brought me here so I coudl service her and she has bestowed the honor of me being allowed to remain in human form only so I may converse with you all. I do hope we can get along." *He smiled over to Mercy like he had did something grand and continued to stand infront of Max and Gary awkwardly awaiting for someone else to actually adress him.*

I didn't... I don't- I-I can't... *sigh* anyway, I'm Garry. And I'd just like to apologize in advance for his... well, for his existence, for one. But also for his scatterbrained nature.

Arias heart squeezed for Lissa. She watched as Lissa and her tender heart distracted her from protecting her thoughts. Suddenly she was remembering when her Master introduced her as his new "girl" and how the other vampires took their turns feeding off her.
Worse awaits you if you dont return now. Youve got twenty four hours or Ill get you myself and...
Images of being chained up, half nude and beaten bloody flooded her. "NO!" she shrieked and closed her eyes. She opened them after the images passed and looked at Lissa. "No, how can you treat him so poorly?" she stumbled towards Lissa and realized her knees were shaking. "Only the bad guys can be so cruel, whose side are you on?"

*Mercy narrowed her eyes at Aria.* "Scusa?" *She spoke in Italian as she often did and a smile touched her child's lips.*
*Lissa walked to Aria takin in note of Mercy's glare, but placing himself inbetween them. He knew better then anyone the temper she had, especially after a visit to her home, to her father and brother. He grasped her shoulder and shushed her as he woudl a child.* "You shoudl not speak of things you do not understand." *He spoke softly and looked more like an abused dog then a man.*

Aria looked up into Lissas eyes. "I understand that you could not possibly enjoy being treated like an animal. I'm running from this, I do not mean to run to it. This is not fair, nothing, no janked up ranking system can make this ok." she swallowed and glanced at Mercy and fear squeezed her chest. Well what the hell, its too late now. "I can't stand by and watch that, he's not an animal. What could he have done to deserve this?"

*Mercy gripped Lady's shoulder, feeling her nails bite into her skin, and watched Aria closely then sighed letting some of her rage out. She knew she coudl be a bully after returning from home so standing up she walked to Aria slowly.* "Move." *She commanded of Lissa and he looked pained as he did so but did so none the less. Side stepping out of her way he placed his head down in submission. Mercy grabbed Aria's face non too gently even though she was taller then her.* "Do you see that?" *She nodded her head at Lissa.* "You wouldn't understand since you have filthy blood, but there is power that comes with pre blood running through your veins. Lissa is a type of demon that was strictly made to obey the will of a full vampire. He has no choise." *She looked to Lissa and sneered.* "Go sit on the couch." *He auomatically obeyed his face blank all the while.* "He is nothing to you so do not get brave with me. . . . seems to me you aren't much more then him. Maybe I'll make you into a nice little pet Aria. . . " *She giggled and leaned up licking her cheek not in a senual way but purely in being a bully. Pulling back she reached up to grip her hair hard.* "Maybe you'll be put back in your place. . . low on the food chain and you'll learn who you are talking to!" *she snapped at her face in a feigning motion then giggled and walked back over sitting on Lady's lap wrapping her arms around her and looking not only like a doll but the perfect little pure blood that she was. Evil and sinister wouldn't quite cover the description.*
*After a few moments Lissa got up nodded at Mercy and walked to Aria. He looked at her with pure understanding in his eyes and sighed.* "I advised you to be quiet. Mercy is doing me a favor, even by treating me as she does. . . she's not like you all think. She's actually-" *He grew silent and grasped his neck in pain falling to his knees writhing in pain and agony. He glanced at Mercy as she glared at him, her hand outstretched as she watched what she was doing to him.*
"You forget your place Lissa. Do not stick up for me in my home. Aria is young and still new. I forgive her for speaking out but I suggest you learn the art of silenece or next goes that lovely tongue." *She smiled sweetly to Aria.* "It's your fault he's in pain right now. . . just so you know." *Adding insult to injury*

"Stop! Dont hurt him!" Aria shrieked and went to his side. "This is not my doing it is your cruelty! He did nothing wrong; if you want to punish someone than go the source of your anger." she answered. Her bark tougher than her bite. She knew she wouldn't last ten seconds at her mercy but she couldn't let Lissa pay for her words. "Please dont hurt him any more..."

I wonder if this is a lucky penny...
It was covered in blood when you found it, so I'd hazard that it's not.

*Mercy laughed at Gary and Max before looking to Aria.* "Then Beg." *Her words were harsh but simple.* "He would not be in this mess if it wasn't for you. He hasn't been punished in almost 80 years, too bad a little girl broke his streak." *She twisted her hand and he fell the opposite way screaming out in sheer horror making Mercy giggle louder.*

Aria cried out wordlessly and reached out to Lissa. "You b***h." she mumbled before falling to her hands and knees and bowing her head. Something twisted inside of her and she felt her masters presence like the roar of the ocean. "Im begging you. Dont hurt him. Its not his fault. If you want to punish someone punish me. Just stop hurting him."

*Mercy looked at Aria and whispered.* "Glad to see you know your place." *She moved her hand and Lissa fell over coughing then kneeled up and looked to Mercy.* "I care not what you do Lissa but in this house don't cause any trouble. Though I'm sure your welcome here. Wander around but report to my room in an hour. I'll expect my hair brushed." *She jumped from LAdy's lap, kissed her abruptly and pasionently before leaving the room.* "Oh and Aria, I know I am a b***h. Infact most who reside here know quite frankly that I am a b***h. Something you don't know about me though, I'm more powerful then one in this house. And she's my lover. Fact is I woudl watch when you sling what you think are hurtful names. You are family becuase you are part of my Lady's clan, but be warned next time I won't be so nice." *With that she skipped merrily away humming an angel's hymn at the top of her lungs all the way down the hall to her room.*
*Lissa stood in a formal stance and bowed his head.* "Thank you Mistress for leaving me my life." *He said before she left then crumpled back to the ground.* "Your too sweet to try to stick up for me. . . you truly don't understand though. I am a lesser being. My birth was only to serve the pure bloods. . . " *He looked to who his Mistress had called her lover and saluted her, too tired though to stand again so smiled meekly.* "You also have a tinge to you." *He wasn't sure if she would understand and didn't really care as he touched Aria's hair lightly.* ". . . . the woman you just called a b***h. . . . . she saved my life." *He whispered, so thankful for her kindness but also an imprint between Mercy and himself was apparent.*

Aria watched Mercy leave and felt the same resentment towards her Master bubble towards Mercy. "I might as well have said it, she would have heard it in my thoughts." she sighed and didn't even bother to block her mind from her Master. "I owe my life to strangers on the street and no one has put me on a chain because of it." she looked into Lissa's eyes before standing up and stepping away from him. She swallowed and turned her back. "But they've convinced you of their value of your worth. I can't change that kind of programming." she glanced over her shoulder at him. "But you are most assuredly my equal, whatever that says about my worth. Sorry for being the cause of your pain." she sat in the chair she previously occupied. And buried her hands in her face. Your all monsters, Master. And I won't let you have me nor anyone else because I have to be the difference. she whispered to him, knowing he'd be listening.

"I am quite sorry. . . . you think so little of me." *He said to her obviously pained by her displeasurement.* "and it wasn't . . . . . it wasn't all that bad." *He nodded once and smiled to her hoping that he coudl befriend her in time.* "This collar. . . isn't to show dominace though. This chain keeps a hold on my humanity, or lack there or. Without it, I'd be like my brethern at the Den'nali Castle. I'd know how to obey and feed. I didn't like eating humans and being a toy of the king though. Mercy took me in at a young age and when she decided to travel away the king took my collar off. I've lived and hated life since she joined this clan, but the last time she came back I couldn't help following her around until she bestowed my collar on me. And she informed me and the king that I was to come with her to her new home, with people she said she was sure would accept me." *He was about to go on about why she was so upset at Aria but closed his mouth and sighing deciding that there wouldn't be a use.* "But Lady, I am not your equal. My strength coudl be greater then yours and my mind far wiser, fact is, I have no soul. My Mistress insists that I do but that's her being stubborn as always. I am nothign but a creature of war, and I am sorry if I have offended you in some way." *He tilted his head down. Normally he looked like any other grown man. 6'1 in heigth and a pure muscular build. His hair long and a feathered coat hung on his shoudlers.*

Aria sighed and felt her weariness over take her again. Her eyelids grew heavy and she peered through her lashes at him. "You apologize to me too much, I am not your mistress and if we're going to get along then I insist you treat me like your equal, or lesser, but certainly not better than you, regardless if you believe it or not. I couldn't stand to..." her sentence trailed off as her grogginess overcame her. "Dios oye mi rezo. Déme la fuerza para continuar, déme la fuerza para guardar my cabeza para arrival. Elogie esté a Dios, el Todopoderoso." she murmured in fluent Spanish and memories of her mother overwhelmed her. "I couldn't think little of you not since you are..." her words stuttered off again as her eyes sagged shut. "I realize I dont fully understand..." she murmured barely audible. "But that's not okay..." she whispered and finally her fatigue won its battle with her fear of nightmares. Blood-soaked images began to haunt her in her dreams.
