Rain Blinked again and opened the door more so that she could be seen by the light that filtered into her room from the hallway. She tilted her head to the side," Are you ok?" she asked in a soft tone.

Namen thought a moment, then shook her head. "No... I can't say that he has been.... I heard him in the mess hall a little while before dinner, but since then, no." She was silent a moment, still thinking. "Anyway, it's late... you probably know that, though." she smiled. "I'd offer to bring you homework, but I'm sure Odyn will see to it. So, I'll see you later." she said, not noticing the pun which she had spoken. She gave Mariye a pat on the hand before leaving the hospital wing.

When she returned to the hall, Teme was gone. Not that it mattered. She didn't want to get used to being able to see. She hoped the sight wouldn't activate every time she was near him, as she did rather enjoy scratching behind his ears and under his chin. As she walked down the first floor dorm hall, she felt as though she walked past someone, but by now she was too tired to care. The day had been long and eventful and she was ready to go to sleep.

He had looked at Namen, wanting to say something, but not knowing what to say he just kept quiet.

He turned back to Rain. "Well, I don't really know what had happened. All that I know is that I had lost Raiden, then I got stressed out that I couldn't find him, then I bursted into flames. Then from there its just a blank... Thats why I need to talk to Akakage, i remember him saving me, but that is the only other part that I remember." Varnis had shook his head trying to clear his thoughts. What is going on with me now? He had thought to him self.

Mariye sighed, and leaned back against the pillows. Well, a girl... a guy... I could hope, she thought helplessly, and let her eyes close. They were engaged... wasn't that good enough?

The moon had risen high in the sky when the door to the infirmary creaked open, and a slim blue-haired boy slipped his way inside. All was quiet, and he moved through the mostly-empty beds until he reached his target, the one next to the window. There his fiance slept, her red hair strewn across the pillow, moonlight making her pale skin glow. No jewelry, no makeup, just... Mariye.

In a flash, Odyn remembered how he first saw her - the sunlight kissing her as the moonlight did now, natural and ethereal and worlds away from the traditional standards of feminine beauty. Not that she didn't always look beautiful, but...

He bit his lip as he saw that someone else had already given her flowers, and fought down a rush of... jealousy? He blushed darkly. Well, his gift may not be much, but it had taken him a long time and it was the thought that counts, right?

He arranged the small bouquet of paper flowers in a cup on the windowsill and turned to go -

"Odyn." Her voice was no more than a whisper, but he was at her side in a second. She smiled. "I thought you'd forgotten about me," she murmured, a twinkle in her eye.

"Never," he said vehemently. "I just... I was... making you. Something." He gestured to the flowers. "S-someone already gave you flowers, but I didn't know there were any around, so I... made you some..."

Mariye's eyes widened and she leaned forward, gently touching the edges of the fragile paper. "Thank you," she breathed, blushing slightly. "Thank you so much."

"You're welcome," he muttered under his breath. "Just... something to look at while you're stuck here..."

"I love it... I'll be reminded of you all day." She smiled, and he felt something in his heart slip.

"Mariye..." He sat on the edge of the bed and took her hand in his. "Can I... stay with you tonight?"

She blinked, surprised... then moved over, careful with her injured leg. "Yes," she said softly.

He took off his vest, then lay there next to her, over the covers, hands entwined. "Don't want to leave you," he muttered sleepily.

She smiled, and let her eyes slide closed once more. "Don't ever leave," she whispered.

Varnis had looked at Rain, looking into her blue eyes. Wow, she has nice eyes. He had thought to him self. "I think he would be in his office, or his dorm room." He had said as he looked at Rain for the first time.

"Well, we could check his office. Since I don't even know where his dorm is." Varnis had looked down the hall, then back to Rain. "Well, lets go, he probably will be asleep, but it is very urgent that we find him." He just looked at her, waiting for her response.
