Alethea grinned at Marcus and nodded, "Guess I deserved that, huh..?" and then shrugs it off easily as Hunter handed her usual of Jack 'n' Coke and sipped on it lightly at Marcus asked her what her deal was and a smirk creeped across her lips, "Oh, ya know...the usual. Hittin' up the town clubs, bar hoppin' if need be. I want some fun tonight!!" she squealed a bit at the idea.

Although as the huntress addressed her,"You above all know how I feel about demons.." she taps her temple-side with her two fore fingers & then points at her as if she had read her mind earlier 'This woman amazes me with her patience & tolerance...'. Shifting in her stool, she leans with her left arm against the bar, facing the others as they began conversation.

Although in the midst of it, this odd figure appears with his hardcore facade and she cocks her head in oddity and pinches her eyebrows together from curiosity. Continuing to sip off her drink, she realizes that a past lingers between two of the people sitting at the bar and she only stiffens when she realizes this "man" lights his cigarette with his hand <********!!?? Anothing psychic?' her interest wavers slightly higher from this man at his strength through his control on his powers.

As she continues to listen, she throws Marcus a glance as his envy rises hard, "No reason to try and have a c**k competition in the midst of ladies now. Didn't you just get done apprehending me??" she questions wisely with no sarcasm intended but with a calm, collected fashion.

Everyone continuing on with their little dramatic play, Alethea sighs as she realizes that it doesn't seem to get better from here, "There goes another good night..." her shoulders slumping as she continues. Even though in her mind she had considered this pyro-kinetic master to help train her telekinesis & telepathy, she realized how unstable he was just from Kerrigan exploiting him in front of everyone. As much as this aggravated Alle she only shrugged, 'I guess there are no trainers for this power...at least one that would really help me harness the power & help me discipline it...everyone seems to out of control and wild - just like I was last night..'. Continuing to sit there as everyone began to leave, this mysterious figure began to wave with emotion, almost exploding with it - His aura become wild & untamed as Kerri spoke. Kerrigan's mind words slipped off into Alle's and she twitched her head lightly a couple times from it 'I do NOT wanna get involved in that mess of life.' smacking herself mentally and trying to focus her energies on the floor, to block out the constant arguing through telepathy and she sighs as she slumps more in her chair, 'Can't they find ANOTHER WAY to argue?!', gripping her forehead tightly as her mind is boggled with mess as her telepathy whips out of control.

As this continued, the emotion in the room began to affect her mind hard and as soon as she began to get fed up, everyone was exiting except for the mysterious figure, glancing over at him, she wished deep in her heart that she had the control that he did, not so much the power because she has seen what that's done to Kerri 'Poor girl - Yea, I don't know her. But I know a woman's heart & how my emotions would be after something that intense....that's not even half the story I bet!'. Deciding to wait to approach this man in request of a trainer, unless he do so in his own time, now was not the time.

Sethe shook his head in grief. He turned to Hunter, and bowed his head to the aged bartender. turning to the door, he headed towards it. 'It's not what you think, Kerrigan...' he sighed. The hooded hunter punched his palm, and flinched sharply as he blasted his palm with electricity, to let some anger blow out. 'We had no choice...' The door to Hunter's opened, and Sethe walked out to the street. He stopped in the garage, and got into the Krii'Vette v2.

*Stares up at the sign saying "Hunters" and looks down at the address on the piece of paper in her hand* "This must be the place," she thought and she walked in. She saw people being served, chatter all around and a lively band playing in the background. It was hard for her to believe that these people killed monsters at all. But then she remembered that looks could be deceiving and decided to get a seat at the bar, ordering a non-aclcoholic daquari so as to quench her thirst.

The black Corvette slid down the streets towards Hunters, gracing the night with techno at a just under ridiculous volume. The Krii'Vette, a black 2009 Corvette Stingray, slid into the garage quickly, and carefully sliced in between two cars, and parked. The driver's side door opened, and heavy steel reinforced boots fell from the car, as Sethe stood up, adjusting his hood and trench coat. He closed his door, and started for the garage entrance, stopped, and turned.

'You coming?' he asked towards the car. He pulled out his pack of cigarettes, and put one in his mouth. The cigarette lit itself as he put the pack away, not covering the cigarette with his hand this time. 'We've got a lot of things to get through, come on.' He was a bit impatient right now, still calming down about what he'd found upon his return to New York.

Alethea watched him so smoothly operate the sleek machinery and she was a bit impressed by him, with everything about him 'Wow..' and as he jumped out of the car carefully, she had lagged behind as her mind wandered on about him.

Finally breaking the reality point with his voice she then shakes her head and opening the door, she finally slips out & nods, "Ahah! Yeaaa...sorry." waving her hand at him but then hurriedly catches up to his stepping but notices his cigarette just light up like a light bulb without any effort, "You have too many tricks up your sleeve. I can't keep up!!" she chuckles and opens the garage door for him as a sign of respect to continue on their walk toward the training room.

His aura had darkened since they had left the Central park, she only glanced over at him as they walked and asked, "Are you alright? If you need a day to yourself, you are totally obliged to do it." she admits to him and then continues on, "I really don't know how you are still continuing on your day....what the hell is bothering you?" she asks bluntly to him, as if awaiting to console his issues at a moments notice. Walking and waiting her voice softens, "I know we're not exactly long lost friends or anything but I can help if you let me." she admitted to him sincerely.

Sethe walked briskly across the street, looking both ways in the middle of the street. They reached Hunter's doors, and the guards let the two Hunters in. Sethe shook his head as they walked in. 'It's nothing that should stop me. I have an obligation to this group. I've been gone from New York too long to take a day off. I can't let things get in the way of what I have to do.

*You know, you really should listen to her, you stupid idiot.* Esou spoke in Sethe's mind. *Take a day, calm down, don't overload yourself.* The wolf was clearly wiser than Sethe.

*No.* Sethe replied, and left it at that, dragging on his cigarette. He turned to Alethea, letting the smoke drift out of his nostrils as he spoke. 'I'm perfectly fine. I can handle the problem that's hitting me right now, and I don't need anyone helping me. I've been hunting in Canada, away from my home, away from my group, leaving everything to Eden, who clearly doesn't have the strength to hold this s**t together,' his voice began to harden, and his eyes began to glow brighter, the glow more than peaking out from around his sunglasses, as he continued, 'there's nothing but a bunch of ungrateful rookies here now, who have no idea how to hunt, no idea what respect is, don't care about anybody in a position of authority, who think hunting is nothing more than a ******** game, my fiancee apparently hates my ******** guts, and even though I had no GODDAMN choice in the matter of going to Canada, she thinks it's all my goddamn fault, and won't even let me explain the situation to her!!!' His voice screamed louder, as if he didn't care who heard what he'd said.

He stopped talking, dragged the cigarette, and slowly slunk to the floor. His kneeling form hovered above the ground, and floated over to a wall, where Sethe sat against it, and just continued to smoke his cigarette. Anyone who'd approach him would feel the air around him much warmer than the rest of the room, and would see electricity arching across his body.

(( Total drama opportunity. twisted ))

Edith manifested just within the entrance to Hunter's when her ears instantly perked up, realizing that someone was yelling. A quarter of a second later her brain registered that it was Sethe yelling and while she'd missed out on him insisting that he was fine with the problem hitting him she heard loud and clear his opinions of her leadership. She didn't even bother to acknowledge the insult and instead stormed out into the streets, totally prepared to hunt something. Sethe could think she was useless and incompetent all she wanted but that didn't change the fact that she'd been the one left behind and abandoned to take on his duty. Now he'd come back only to criticize her for stepping up to the plate and that just about blew her fuse. She could understand ignorant hunters implying that she was useless but her own brother was just a huge blow to the self esteem and herself as a person in general.

'F--king a--hole.' Were her prevailant thoughts as she stormed off.

Sethe felt Eden's thoughts as she stormed off after he'd blown up. He stood sharply, the air around him ripe with energy. He ran to the door, a trail of electricity and heat following after him as he raced after Eden. 'Awww, ********!!!' he screamed. The doors opened, and he stopped at the threshold. He remembered why he was there, and turned to face Alethea.

'Dammit!' he sighed, 'Look, this is gonna have to wait. I gotta make things... ********!' he spat outside, flicked his cigarette, and shunted the energy off of himself, launching a small bolt of flame and electricity into Hunters, which fizzled as it flew halfway through the room.

'I'll be back...' Sethe turned to the streets, and rushed out, running into the streets.

Alethea only listened to him, even as loud & obnoxious as he got, she knew - it needed to happen, whether or not he was insulting her or the leader. Her eyes had softened lightly to the idea of his stress and as he sunk to the floor in defeat, she only smiled softly at him.

Although, its only when she heard Edith too and she smacked her own forehead as he ran out the door to chase her with the flame & electricity, running perfectly fluently throughout his body. Her eyebrows catching upward as he flies out the door and as much as she yearns to run after him, this was his problem to deal with.

Placing her fore fingers in between her eyebrows, her mind focuses on Sethe and she smiles a bit 'Take your time. I'll be waiting for you until you are done handling the problems you need to finish.'.

As this is done, she finds her trail leading toward Hunter's bar. As she found her new stool she propped herself onto it & then finally smiled at him as she prepared her another Jack & Coke. Finding the cup to her crimson lips she smiled with her perfectly pearly whites from the amber fluid warming her inside.

Slipping off her bronze leather jacket, she revealed a rather sculpted back and her hips were a bit wide but proportionate to the rest of her athletic type body. Her stool swiveled with the sway of her upper body to the romping music that had the bass to vibrate the flooring. Alle just wanted to give this man the time that he needed, 'I figured this would happened after I asked but it's okay...it was worth asking. He's the elite of the elite & that's exactly what I want to TEACH me.'

After the first drink, Alethea only slammed the glass down in anger 'Oh god! What am I doing here, seriously?! I should be backing that man up after he accepted my request!', swiveling & pounding a 10 on the bar tender table, she hops off the stool, dashing for the entrance/exit of the bar into the city.

Once outside, she takes a deep breath - considering each & every scent seriously & once she found the lead of that same camel crush cigarette smell, she shoots off in no specific direction - hoping that she is going the right way 'I should have been nice enough to at least help me plead his case - GOD, I can be really selfish sometimes!' she badgers herself more.

Passing the two mighty hunter bouncers and through the many protections the hunter's bar had against the creatures of night, Marcus sighed as he glanced at the now empty bar. Not even the aged Hunter was present behind the wooden bar counter in front of the secret entrance to the Haven. This caused Marcus to shrug his shoulders as he moved around several tables to one of the many empty stools and took his seat. Glancing around, the man reached over the counter for two of several clean glasses and an unlabeled glass bottle filled with a mysterious brown liquid.

Pouring the strange liquid into both glasses, Marcus slid one to one side as he was sure Kerrigan would want one. Still carrying his crooked grin, Marcus raised in the air in a silent cheer as he gulp down the mystery drink. Letting it burn down his throat for a moment or so, Marcus realized it was straight up whiskey. Chuckling a bit, the hunter let out a sigh as he studied the content left in his glass.

"Guess Mr. Hunter did some drinking of his own." The armored man mused as he took in another sip of his drink.
PostPosted: Thu Sep 17, 2009 10:28 pm

Following Raven into Hunters, the huntress paused momentarily to speak to one of the bouncers outside as her companion went on ahead. The time meant that it was going to be a quieter time in Haven - maybe that was what she needed. Breaking away from Queenie, she entered the bar to see Raven with a drink already waiting for her. Laughing as she came up next to him, watching as he raised his glass in a mock cheers, she plopped into a bar stool with a sigh.

"Now, you leave Hunter alone. Lord knows that man deals with enough of our bullshit, he deserves to drink himself into a stupor once in a while. Anyways, If I didn't know better, I would think you were trying to reverse the other night, so I'd wake up in your bed," she said with a laugh, reaching into her back pocket and pulling out her keys to show him with a playful wink. Replacing them in her pocket, the huntress took a sip of the drink offered, feeling the familiar burn of the liquid as it went down. Still being a little buzzed from before, the renewed alcohol in her system made her grin, the headache that was starting to push it's way into her mind beginning to subside.

"Sorry about the diner, by the way. I can't believe I missed that fight. Sounded like a good one," she said with a grin, downing the rest of the drink as a hiss escaped through her fangs as the liquid burned it's way down.

Taking a sip from out of the tumbler glass, Marcus gave a low laugh as he shook his head. "Nah. If you aren't in my bed now, you probably aren't gonna be ever." The man replied with amusement as he glanced over to the seductress next to him. Casting a wink at her direction, the man glanced at his torn armor at the mention of the fight he had with the strange Immortal.

"Heh, don't worry about it. I'm alive. You're alive. That's all that matters...it's a tad unfortunate that b*****d is alive as well. Motherf*cker threw a dead man at me." Marcus grunted, disappointment laced in his tone as he let out a sigh and leaned back in his seat. Gazing off to what laid behind the bar, the hunter shrugged his shoulders as he pondered if he should go detail to detail as to how the fight went or simply leave it as it was.

"It was some vampire dressed in black. Dressed weird. All back. Had this big funny looking hat on. He managed to avoided forty UV bullets and still had the strength to run away." And said he was gonna see me again and spoke Latin... But Marcus left that bit out last, seeing how there was no need to go about worrying her. "Anyways, I think I might of got him. Hell, why else would he run? Blah...f*cker messed up my vest too. Seriously, who the hell fights with swords anymore?" The man continued as he grunted and took another swallow of his drink.

Letting out the frustration in a loud exhale, Marcus shook his head and looked over to his companion. Realizing he didn't ask about her situation and the "hero" at the diner, Marcus offered a lopsided smile. "So how about you and the hero? How'd you handle that? And were you going to seduce me?" He questioned, playfulness in his voice at the last question.
PostPosted: Thu Sep 17, 2009 11:06 pm

Giving him a wink at his comment, hearing his recount of the fight with the vampire, and what he looked like. From what she heard Raven say, he had to be incredibly strong - certainly not a vampire she had the pleasure of meeting yet. That could mean one of two things - either he was new to the city, or he came when she was gone, and was just starting to get active. Either way, it sounded like they might have a problem on their hands, but at least Marcus was able to get a hit in on him. She never doubted his abilities, but she was concerned about all the hunters and what they could run into. Despite all the press, it almost seemed like the immortals were getting stronger, more dangerous. However, she broke into another fanged grin as he asked why fought with swords anymore, giving a small shrug.

"They can come in handy. I don't normally carry them into battle, but last time I fought the elders at the docks one of them broke my ankle with a katana. Whether it's a primary weapon or not, it helps to know how to use them." Giving him a pat on the shoulder for the loss of his vest, she had no doubts he would be able to find a replacement around Haven. It seemed they had everything a hunter could ask for in armor and weapons. It was these thoughts that almost made her miss his inquiry about the man in the diner, though when she finally did catch his comments her expression hardened slightly.

"Well, after he stabbed me and told me, and I quote, 'you won't bleed that boy dry on my watch' I had to take him down to try and save your butt from that fight. Might have broken a few of his ribs, but that's the least I could have done for stabbing me out of nowhere," she said simply, shrugging as she talked about the consequences of her little encounter with the man. She was fine. Whether she could say the same for him was a different story.

"As for be trying to seduce you, you better believe it would have happened already," she said, bringing her head close to his shoulder and gently running a hand over his bicep before breaking away, laughing. Following it with a playful wink, she tucked her hair behind her ears once more, sighing as she looked down at her jacket, poking her finger through the hole. Why did people always have to attack her when she was wearing her favorite articles of clothing? Now she would have to find another jacket, and this one was no longer in production. Damn humans and their damned hero tendencies against the people who sacrifice everything to save their sorry asses from becoming some immortal's next meal. Stereotypes were a b***h sometimes.

Upon hearing the story about breaking her ankle against an elder, Marcus gave a low chuckle and nodded his head. "Yeah. I mean, I can see how they are useful. Hell, I sometimes carry a kukri on some hunts when I need to cut something head off. But this guy...blah. Guess I'm just not use to dealing with sword people. Usually the undead I deal with either arm themselves with guns or go at me unarmed." Shrugging his shoulder, the man finished off the contents in his glass and began refilling it.

"Heh, he's lucky for some broken ribs. Why he could of been the one 'bleed dry'." Mused Marcus as he shook his head in disbelief. Though he hasn't experienced any type of discrimination since high school, the half-Asian could understand the annoyance and trouble being different in a society of narrow-minded idiots can be. Taking another small sip of his whiskey, he let out a sigh at the thoughts of his past as he glanced over vampiress.

"Really? I thought it already did happen? I mean, how else did I end up in your bed the other night, eh?" Laughing a bit at the woman, Marcus threw her a wink as he raised his glass in a cheer. Noticing her poke her finger through the hole, the dark haired hunter continued to chuckle. "Looks like you'll need a new jacket there. Tell me your size. I'll find you a new one." Marcus then added, sipping his drink for a moment.
