((Such is true Dragonz :3 Is breeding open at the moment though? Or are you just thinking towards the future?
And I don't mind.. but that WAS painfully short. ;-; But umm.. it leaves stuff open for either Koho or Sarabi. :3))
-Mufasa slowed as he neared the rocks, eyes trying to hunt out his 'prey' which he'd seemingly lost. His ears were pretty much useless with all the other's around. As was his sense of smell.. the whole area often carried the musk of those who lived there. So the large golden male rely only on his eyes as he slowly began to make his way up the rocks, looking almost paranoid in the way his eyes traveled back and forth searching for the clever lioness.-

The two continued to talk as a rather pungent smelling wildabeast trotted over to them, it's tongue sticking out the side of it's mouth making Sukutu's snout wrinkle back slightly. "Hey Suku!" It said, spraying spit all over the adolescent and part of the elephants leg. "Hey Nukie!!!" Shouted the bull angrily. "Say it don't spray it ningcompoop!!" The creature's ears flopped sadly and he spoke again, his eyes downcast to his shappy hooves. "I'm sorry..." The adolescent just laughed softly before nudging his head against the wildbeasts (reluctantly) and then against the paciderms leg. "Man I'm gonna miss you guys..." He said sincerely. The two looked at their friend and Nukie sniffled before looking up at the elephant who appeared was trying not to bawl like a baby, they then watched as the adolescent turned and walked of slowly back to the group. "Hey you come back now ok!!" The elephant called. "And don't forget to roar back!!!" Nukie shouted afterwards. The young lion gave a small smirk and turned to his friends, his eyes tearing up slightly against his wishes. "I WONT!!!" He shouted before standing there and giving a loud goodbye roar, his voice echoing over the savanah as he looked at his friends reply with a loud trumpet and thump of hooves.

Mwali duked down as the golden form of Koho soared over him. A bit startled by it he turned to her with a look of inquisition, she made a hushing sound and crouched down behind him, flicking her tail out of sight. Narrowing his eyes in confusion he turned his head towards the mouth of the cave only to see a laughing Mufasa glancing about suspiciously. His ears perked as he figured out Koho's behavior- she was playing with her brother. Clearing his throat a bit he straightened his posture laying on the ground so he was a bit larger and covered Koho better, and just for added effect he flicked his tail, eyeing the king as he padded by the cave and up the rocks. Smirking he turned to her, “I think the cost is clear.”
It was good to see her so playful. So often he’d see her acting as serious as anything and trying to carry herself with a noble dignity. It was refreshing to see her bounding about and laughing, he adored seeing joy in another. It made him forget about his recent problems quite quickly. Smirking a bit he slowly moved his eyes to give Koho quite the evil glare. A massive paw moved down to pin her against him, holding her like he would one of the cubs during a play fight. “Gotcha!”

((A note to Daduke: I would recommend hanging around the main thread a while, perhaps get a character, and then wait until dust or whoever in the owner now (*can't remember these things*) has the time to accept a new member, however it is rude to make an OOC post in an rping thread when you are not even part of the pride....)) A mischevious smile snuck up upon her features as Mwali played her game. She listened carefully, blocking out the sound of her own lungs along with Mwali's heart which she could hear clearly from her position next to his chest. Yes, she could hear Mufasa walking past, his paws plopping on the ground infront of the cave, and then past it. The sound of her brother became softer as he seemed to be giving up the chase. Sarabi had needed him so the golden lion relaxed her body, her tail lulling out across the ground again. Her eyes glanced up to the red male's face to thank him just in time to see a rather tricksterous looking grin....
"Wha-" Just as she was about to ask him what the look was about she quickly found herself pinned to the big male lucious coat of red. She took one moment to enjoy the feeling of her body pinned so closely to his before becoming playfully disgruntled. "Not for long you don't!" Her sleek muscles tensed and relaxed as she snaked out of his grasp enough to turn around and land both of her paws around his neck in a big lion hug, her hind claws shooting out of their protective casing and digging into the solid stone to give her a base to push against as she attempted to move the good sized mass of the prince.

Jasiri sat next to Suku watching the playful fight of the two lovers. She couldnt help but grin. They were so cute together. Without knowing it her eyes waverd over to Sukutu, admiring his new lanky creamy brown mane, his strong legs, and his violet eyes.... She blinked and shook her head, embarresed. She hoped he hand't seen. She looked up at the sky. It was about noon. She didnt want to interupt the playing, but she wanted to get going before sundown so they could find someplace to stay for the night. She waited a few more moments before padding over to Mwali. "Mwali, we should probably head out now.

He jumped slightly as she slid from his grasp, turning to try and lick her nose as she made her escape. He paused, noting that she had slipped out quicker than he thought. Before he had much of a chance to even look puzzled he found his neck wrapped up in a lion's equivilant of an embrace. He jumped slightly, it wasn't at all expected. Smirking a bit he turned his head just enough to glance to Koho through one gleaming green eye. Quite quickly he rose up to his paws which would eather bump Koho form his back or leave her standing on it- making for quite the silly scene. "And just how long do you think you'll have me?"
He chuckled and rolled himself onto his back, breaking free of her grip. Somehow he managed to get out a playful growl, glancing over to her with a gleam of challange in his eyes.

((grrrrr.... my first post was eaten, so this probably won't be as good since I've already typed it once...)) A cute little laugh escaped a usually mature set of vocal cords as Koho felt Mwali's lick, initially intended for her nose, now on her shoulder because she evidently moved faster than he had anticipated. Even that little gesture of his affection filled the lioness's otherwise untouched heart with a sense of belonging. She had felt incomplete for the longest time. Sure she had the love of her family and friends, but there was another love, the love of a mate, that she had been without. Ever since Mwali had first appeared she had had that nagging emptiness of the forefront of her mind. She hadn't felt safe enough to show emotions to him until recently, she had thought he would be like all the other rouges that stumbled into the pridelands. Eat, heal and leave. But he had been different, he had stayed and that meant the world to the golden lioness.
She knew as her amber eyes met his vivid green that those orbs of light would betray her, she was far too emotional at the moment to hide the overflow of happy contentment. Her paws held tight as her love rose, she was very determined to keep a firm hold on him. Her hind legs stretched to continue to keep connection with the ground, but it was futile. Mwali was strong, now, he could support her. She wriggled forward across his back quickly, her maw finding his ear so she could whisper an answer to him and only him, "Forever if I'm lucky...." She had only enough time to laugh contentedly before growling slightly in surprise as Mwali started his roll. She knew she had to let go or be squished so she effectively rolled away, getting her golden coat covered in dust. She leaped to her feet quickly, laughing delightedly. Her eyes kept hold on his form, however her ears flicked to catch the little femme's comment. "She's right Mwali, we should get going. Playtime's over... for now." A mischevious glint overcame her eyes before her took a regal gait and padded softly towards and then past him to the entrance of the cave.

He was a bit startled by the forever comment- did it have a second meaning? The lioness had been so against his coming in the beginning, he had even begun to think that she hated him but that had changed over time. She had come around when he was wounded, laid beside him during the night though he wasn't allowed to lie with the rest of the pride, and would constantly tend to his wounds. Afterwards their days were filled with humerious hunting attempts- many times he'd end up on his back, falling from a tree, slipping into the water hole, or even that awkward run-in with an angry rhino... Mwali had never run so fast in his entire life. It was good for a laugh afterwards. It seemed that the more time they spent together the more she seemed to accept him.
He panted on the ground, rolling his large head to glance to his "little sister" as she announced that playtime was over. With a chuckle and a bit of a sheepish look he rolled to a sit, shaking his thick mane out, "All right, all right. Just getting some last minute playing in." His maw was set wide in a massive grin as he turned to Koho, "That's only round one, I'm gonna win next time." He chuckled, pushing a large paw playfully into her chest. He loved this lioness, the more she seemed to accept him the more fun he had around her. Playing with her made him realize that no matter the trouble they were in presently over the loss of his family or the trouble that they'd probibly be in for returning to his lands, they'd at least have one another... and he'd protect her- protect all his small bizarre family. He wans't sure how but he comforted himself with the thought that he'd know how to fight if it came down to it- he was large enough to at least manage a good toss-around.

((Awww two lovers of different pelts but of same hearts entwined 3nodding ...wait..wha? eek ))
At Jasiri's words his ears swivveled towards the young lioness and then watched the two older lion's fighting, sigh, big kids, that's all they where these days, he hoped he'd never fall in love if he acted like some big cub again. Still, his eyes blinked as he thought he saw the adolescent next to him looking at him and turned his head to look at her with his one eye, his other one covered by the long creamy mane that had grown out in his later teens. "Uhhmmm...Jasi? Was there anything wrong? You looked at me I was just wondering if anything was the matter?" He had grown especialy gentle with her, he didn't know why, maybe it was because she was one of his best friends now...yeah...yeah that must be it. He heard Mwali's words but only waited for Jasi's reply.

She had left...Indeed she had... She thought she had left for good, but now she realised. This was her home, whether her mother was here or not, she had to return, regardless of what anyone else thought.
Besides, no-one had even notcied she was gone, well, except Sukutu, and he was going soon himself anyway... She trotted around a corner to notice Jasiri and smirked to herself. Then she looked back to Sukutu...but he was... going? Already? She sighed, she had missed quite a bit whilst she was a rogue...
Pulling back her ears and her paws thumping against the ground she ran to Sukutu and plummeted into his chocolate pelt. "Sukutu! Im back!" She said, nuzzling him affectionately and smiling, although it was tainted with sadness as she knew he was leaving for good now.
She would miss her big brother, even if they werent blood related. He showed her to be strong and face your fears, and he would never let her get hurt, he was the best type of brother to have.
Crying happily she then reclined and looked up to his big chocolately figure. "Goodbye, Sukutu..." She said, smiling still. "Goodbye Jasiri..." She nodded to the female, before giving Sukutu a lick and padding in another direction. "N-now if you excuse me, I must go and ask M-mufasa something..."
Directing her trembling figure towards the large golden king, she thought about turning back, but no, what good would that do... She realised that she would be a big dissapointment... Becoming a rogue was a mistake, yet her heart groaned painfully when she thought of Amari. He'd get a new girl soon... She thought sadly. And then we can be friends? He can visit... But she knew he hated it around here, so it was holding a false hope...
She hadnt realised that she had already arrived next to the king... She looked up to his towering figure with her sapphire eyes. "Erm...Excuse me sir..." She said, lowering her cranium into a sleek bow. "M-may I have a moment to talk to you?" She stuttered. She didnt know exactly what she wanted to talk about, maybe it was about her mother, maybe she wanted to admit to running away for a few days... She looked around. The pride lands were awfully bare... Many of the lionesses had dissapeared... She looked to the ground whilst awaiting Mufasas answer.

The adolescent's ears swiftly moved towards his young adopted sister and gave her a soft loving nuzzle, although, he could sense the sadness in her and then softly licked the top of her head before watching her walk of towards the king...he would miss her dearly...he'd miss Kiyowe aswell...but they would return...he was sure of that. "Goodbye...little sister..." He said these words in an almost minute whisper before clearing his throat and then looking back to Jasiri. "Heh...sorry...got somethin' in my eye here..." He had watched Maawio leave, make friends with a rogue and now return, he was filled with a mix of emotions, but right now he just didn't want to show them.

When Jasiri heard Suku's words she blushed and tried to hide her face. She was about to say something when Mwaaio came over. She was safe for now. She looked down at the bright yellow lioness, a kind smile spread across her cheek. Suku had many friends here, and he would be leaving it all to be with her and her family. She sighed and shook her head, her ears layed back againt her skull. "Goodbye Mwaaio. We will all miss you." She gave the adolcent a quick hug and watched her dissapear over the horizon. "Alright gang, lets head out." She said, meaning to be cheery, but with a glint of sadness in her voice. She was leaving her paradise for a barren wasteland, but in the end, it might all be worth it. She turned on her heels, and made her way to the edge of the Pridelands, having on last look at it, before continueing on.

The males head turned to Jasiri and he smirked slightly, was she hiding something from him? But he shrugged it of none the less, girls had to have their secrets...and so did guys, plus there was more important things to do now. He quickly trotted to Jasi's side before his violet eyes glanced over the lands once more, they would return, he was sure...there was always an adventure out there...but your journey home would always be the biggest, that's how Mwali must've felt. Speaking of which, where were they? He turned to look at the two before smirking at them and calling out. "Hey love birds come on or we'll beat ya' there!" He then waited to see if Teule, Taka and Wokovu would come also, this would also be a chance for them to bond more then help out Kimondo in her time of need.
