RaeCG whew! its a bit hard to get D and Eb out of an open-holed flute for the first few times, but I am pretty good at it, cause i keep good finger posture and stuff... our band trip is gonna be awesome... we're going to Houston for 3 days! woo-hoo!! leaving tomorrow Feliz Cinco de Mayo! I had that problem too, but it's even harder to get them out on an open hole flute that curves in a way it's not supposed to. My friend has a flute like that (got thrown one too many times) and she still used to play in wind ensemble.

Yesterday we got up at 4:30 in the morning and went to school so we could say hi to Mr. May on the today show and watch ourselves. 'Cept we were so sleep deprived that it went kinda like this:
"Look it's May" *giggle* "Look he's tuning" *guffaw* "Look, it's us.....YAY"
It was amusing. And half of the back of my head was on national television. . . Umm, yeah.

Keltzy Yesterday we got up at 4:30 in the morning and went to school so we could say hi to Mr. May on the today show and watch ourselves. 'Cept we were so sleep deprived that it went kinda like this: "Look it's May" *giggle* "Look he's tuning" *guffaw* "Look, it's us.....YAY" It was amusing. And half of the back of my head was on national television. . . Umm, yeah. lol,thats hilarious!!but 4 in the mornin...poor you!!lol xp but i bet it was worth seein the back of your head at 4am!! whee lol

-dies- Our Spring concert is May 19th (Thursday) and then after that we're going to bring out...
MARCHING BAND MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -dies- I'm am so freaking happy. Heather, cool girl, freshman, made Drum Major. Ryan didn't. That's okay because I would've died laughing at him. Oh, well. There's always next year! Ryan, for some reason, doesn't have a Piccolo anymore. Don't ask me how that works out. So, I'm going to be the only Piccoloist! -dances-

HaoNalle3 crucify_myself Attention to those who play le Piccolo!When you play sort of low range-ish notes, do you get an airy type sound? I do. If you don't, but did, how'd you fix it? Also, how high can you personally go? I can only reach a G (the one after f above the staff). I'm at a loss for what to do..
I am able to reach a high Eb! My dog goes CRAZY! blaugh (I know, it's mean...but still fun!)I can go to a high-high A.... then after that, it quits on meh. -_- My piccolo is teh sux... looks terrible... but it plays in tune... ALL the time. Fuggin' creepy.
