Accio Alice Chibi Halo Here's the thing Alice, I got a lot of information from the Towns 2 map and using the original maps from the World section of the site. Neither Towns 2 or the original maps have the Shallow Seas on it. I was trying to combine the two because that Towns map combines the two to a degree. Secondly, I never made it to the end of zOMG so I don't "remember" where things are. I don't see where there could be a lighthouse on the Towns 2 map. What I was looking for was the crater that was the massive tower that Johnny built and fell down upon the Gambino wall and eventually crushed one of the other Von Helson owned houses in Durem. That's why there's question marks at the end of where I put the labels. The map is far from what I'd consider completely finished. There's definitely room for changes and additions to it.
Ah, I thought you made it to the ending. My bad. How far did you get?
Towns 2 included the map from zOMG!, but it would obviously not include many of the maps that are accessible through the main ones (i.e. Gold Beach, Otami Ruins, etc.). Shallow Seas is just one of the connected areas that Towns 2 wouldn't have included. In Gold Beach, a lighthouse stood a little above to where the null chamber is and an NPC named Jacques who will eventually land you in a general quest called Duneslam. Gold Beach should be along the area where the tower fell on and the tower could have also fallen on a small part of Otami, the Reclamation Hub, and then to Durem itself. The Barton Cliffs cannot be on the border of Bass'ken Lake and Gold Beach-- actually where you put the text is the entrance to Gold Beach and is near the fire pit that surfers like to hang around at-- because while it does seem that the Gaia world map puts the Gambino Wall right next to the lake, it's actually not there in the world of zOMG!.
Why? The Aqueducts became the Great Wall of Gambino. That small Warp Portal became the Star Portal which leads to Hive World.
Looking for the crater? It's right here. Take a close look at 8A and 9A. When you reach Shallow Seas, you are given the task to find a man named Marshall who will follow you around your journey to a map called Undersea Ledge where you get the chance to walk on the remains of the Gambino Tower to get to the Sealab Compound to defeat the boss and therefore finish the game. So the Barton Cliffs, using the new Towns 2 world map, would be right above the Otami Ruins (assuming there is more space in between the cliff and the ruins' forest area and all; also drew on it a bit) and the crater would be in the X I marked on the map. As for the additional thing I put in there: I noticed a small area where the aqueducts continued a little bit more into the forest right below Otami and notice how it's broken off a bit. Here's a theory: The Otami Ruins became what it is now because the Gambino Tower fell on it, and the Gambino Wall extended to be an aqueduct to help support the Bass'ken lake or Barton Town (not exactly a good one though).
I compared the different maps and that's what I got. I've memorised the whole zOMG! world map just because I've played it probably as much as I play on Steam. As for Gold Beach, Towns 2 never included the upper area where you could reach the Null Chamber and the lighthouse itself. It's the same with other zOMG! maps in T2; they're all incomplete.
While you can't actually go to the whole of the Gold Beach in Towns 2 you can still see the whole thing on the map. Not being able to send your avatar to all of the beach and to the places like the Shallow Seas isn't necessarily important where the RP and what I was doing is concerned. And looking at the map of that area that you gave me that whole place looks to be under water where the crater by the cliffs is on pure beach. Plus, I honestly don't think something like that tower would have been near ancient ruins and that far away from Barton Town.
Looking at the original maps I don't think the wall is that far from Barton because it is just a stone's throw away from Bass'Ken lake. So really the wall can't be the Aqueducts. There's a lot of stuff that was made for the game that didn't take into consideration existing world maps. The only reason I think you and I are disagreeing on those two locations is the Zurg gate.

Agreed, haha. Like I said, I like to assume there is more space than what the original map shows because it wouldn't be very logical to my weird way of thinking. I'm aware of the fact that the original map and the comic shows it on the shoreline, but then again, zOMG! was just a game based off of the events a little after the Gambino Tower fell. The area of the aqueducts in the game is made to look like the Great Wall of Gambino in the Gaia world map, so I just made some assumptions in an attempt to connect the zOMG world together with the original. I'm not trying to change your thoughts, if that what I sounded like, sorry. Just theorizing that the Gambino wall could have either been at that area where I circled it or near the lake and that the ruins could have been destroyed because of the tower. But, whatever, it'll only probably fuse the wires in my brain in the end.

I have updated my thread to reflect my characters including the dopples.
Okay. New post, long but doesn't move the plot forward too much.
Also, obviously bru wrote some of that, with his character. I was pretty tired last night so it might be rife with typos. I'm not really awake enough right now (I slept until 1pm today) to feel like I could fix anything either.

So Cheffie, ball's in your court now. I suppose you've been busy. No biggie. I kinda need to think ahead to how Cae will react to the next dark energy surge. I'm thinking his frustration at being chained by rules and unable to help is gnawing at him like crazy, and it'll only get worse. Somehow, he's gotta let off some steam, but that's a conundrum all on its own. What does a demon who acts more like an angel do to keep from going berserk? question question question question question
I know in his profie it says he likes to relax in the hot tub out back, but that won't cut it this time. I may have to take the liberty of a tiny bit of side story (don't worry, it won't be that much) and have him drag out his old swords, which he has been doing his best to try to avoid using ever again. With an encroaching war all but knocking at the front gates of the manor, even he cannot keep on the blinders and avoid battle forever.

And now we're kind of stuck in a rut with the RP. Are people too busy because of work and school to post? *Looks at certain individuals*
I hope it's because of work and school and not because people are losing interest in continuing certain things within the RP.

I've been genuinely busy. Learning to become an electric station operator is very time-consuming stuff.

I've been busy with school, but I try to filler post at least. xD Not much I can do with my characters right now though. Hopefully people aren't losing interest. I'd be sad. :'[

I figured this is just a busy time for everyone with it being around exam time, or busy with family or work, etc.and trying not to overwhelm the thread with posts. I'm still working on side stories and other ideas.

I've got company here that'll be staying until Monday or Tuesday, so I can't be online a bunch. Once the company leaves, I can pick up my posting again, but until then I just can't do much. Believe me, I'm not happy about it.

You guys are fine you have good reasons to be busy and slow with posting. I'm kind of stuck because I hope the person I'm waiting on is hopefully tied up with work.

I hoped it was work and not lack of interest. The whole RP is just kind of at a point where people are dependent upon someone else before they can post again, which kind of stinks. Once we get past that point I do think things will pick up again.
