"Eeeeeeeee!" It was the loudest sound Selene had ever made, and it wasn't actually very loud at all. Selene had been groggily walking around, looking for something to take her mind off of the ~feelings~ she'd been dealing with, when quite suddenly she saw the prettiest, most lovely minipet she'd ever seen in her life. It was grey, and looked grumpy, and proud, and she just.. couldn't help herself.. "You precious little thing! Come to Selene, let me cuddle you for the rest of my life!" Was there no booth owner? She wanted one of these minis, she had to have one! It was her destiny! Selene wrapped her little hands all over Avery and cuddled him right up against her, hissing as she stroked his little head with her cheek and smothered him in affection. BOOM BOOM BOOMDoing another round didn't seem like such a bad idea, "alright," Olivia agreed. They were already here after all, which would save them a trip later. And would get it at least out of the way for the day before they ventured forth to go do other booths.

BOOM BOOM BOOM It wasn't as though Marzena was considering to frequent other booths. Nope. It was not a good thing.
And then she was interrupted by a loud squeal.
... Marzena could only stare at the ghoul. Poor, poor minipet. Or wait. Hadn't it talked before?

BOOM BOOM BOOM Andre smiled at Olivia, checking on how she was doing, which was far better then him, and then he noticed a familiar face.
"Hi Professor!" might as well let Selene know that he didn't just deliver notes. he turned back to this darts trying to actually aim this time. Two points, that was slightly better.

BOOM BOOM BOOM Now that she thought about it, Marzena distinctly remembered the minipet speaking when she had stared at it on her first visit to the booth.
Minipets didn't talk. So um well...
That ghoul could cuddle it all she wanted. Except she swore that some other student had just called her a professor.
"Professor?" Marzena muttered under her breath. She hadn't met much professors here but. She had met a staff member, and so far, they had seemed pretty nice. Also not the sort that she would easily recognize as a staff member, strangely enough.
"I think you should be careful with... it." She ventured. "It looks... uh... grumpy." Marzena knew all about being hugged when she didn't really want to, after all.

BOOM BOOM BOOMLoud squeals were hard to miss, she had to deal with one not too long ago herself but when Olivia glanced over she simply saw a green skinned ghoul cooing over one of the booth attendants (wait... those were... right? She'd seen people refer to them as such). But when Andrew addressed her, Olivia nearly dropped one of her darts. And really... only hit one of the balloons
Olivia didn't know all the faculty as of yet, only having come across those for the few classes she had already attended but seeing one of them in the wild like this was ... so weird. And making funny noises at one a mini to boot. The little Wight stared... and stared hard with extreme fascination!

Avery had little time to respond to Selene's advance. In fact, the most he managed was a strangled sound that was a mix of a growl and an attempt to speak. He hadn't even thought of running until it was too late.
Life was so unfair.

With Avery still tucked close to her body, Selene whispered out a friendly hello to the boil from earlier. But when a ghoul tried to warn her of the pet in her arms, Selene shook her head and coo'd. "Oh no, it only looks grumpy, look how soft, and cuddly, and sweet he is. I simply adore him, I wish I could keep him forever. I want to take him home, and cuddle with him and give him little hats. Would you like that, Mister Scritchyscruffims?" She bent her head in and nuzzled it against his. "Yes you would, yes you would you precious little darling. He is the most beautiful pet in the world!" Another student called out to say hello, and she grinned, holding up the pet and making it wave its paw at her and the ghoul who was staring. "Mister Scritchyscruffims says hello!" Oniongrump this is a legal binding contract

BOOM BOOM BOOM"Oh," Was Olivia's very simple reply filled with the same extreme fascination and wonder as the expression on her face. Now not only about Selene but that Andrew had gone back into the forest and was given a task from that very Slender Man. (It kind of made her want to go back).
"The others?" She had to ask, wondering exactly what he meant given the vague notion of the own questioning. Giving him a series of blinks, she flicked her attention back to the darts to give the balloons one final go for the day and then alternated between Selene and Andrew once more.
"H-hello, Mister Scritchyscruffims," she called back in a small voice when she was addressed by the older ghoul. "And hello Professor," (forgetting her would be so rude!) Was that really his name? The small ghoul had to admit she rather liked it as hard as it was so repeat back. He didn't look too pleased though, but with all the fluffiness it was rather hard to tell and with all the fur it kind of made it adorable. Olivia giggled.
- but, wait, what Ragnarok? Who?
