 "You want life?! I can bring it! " A sudden voice suddenly loudly shouted out, it was a teenage girls voice, and a voice that hadn't been heard for some time. Trinity, in all her glory and insanity, had arrived to get the hearts pumping of everyone in this building, well, just the ball room! As she walked into the area, she was going for a dramatic entrance as her a darkly mist began to swirl around her body, those like the Cetra and Serenitians may feel the darkness from her, but, so long as she wasn't forgotten in her time being gone, they might know she was just messing around, and not actually a threat. However, when a giant skeletal oddy shaped demon like creature began to raise from that dark mist, it may not be so convincing. The body was shaped long, while its head bared massive, deadly teeth that would no doubt kill any human unfortunate to meet on the bad side of Trinity. It's eyes had a blueish glow to them, rather then the typical crimson most demons would bare.
Trinity herself, was wearing a purple and orange shredded styled skirt the top leather straps just big enough to cover her decently, and yet still give her a sort of menacing look. "Greet my friends, cutie-pie! Get this party started!" By scaring the life out of every child and demon fearing person in the room. Yep, that was always a great plan! "Er...Hey, you guys know, it's Trinity, yeah? Good! Hurt my baby and I'll have'ta hurt you too! Now, say hi!! " She wasn't at all insane. Yugi and her could have made such a team, too...
Meanwhile, the creature kept high in the air, not really coming in contact or getting close to anyone, instead it flew around the entire area of the garden, growling and giving off a terrible terrifying roar that would put chills through most people's spines!

Phoenix just kind of stared blankly up at the ceiling as the strange demon creature flew around in circles. That, wasn't strange at all! Whatever, though. It was of no concern to her, she obviously knew who was controlling it. Honestly, it was really as funny as Yugi and his zombie friends earlier. To bad they weren't around anymore! Then again, at the rate they were trying to steal food, all the food would have been eaten by now had they been! One could only hope Trinity's demon didn't develop a taste for sweets anytime soon.
Phoenix turned away as another presence caught her attention, the crimson-eyed teen looking directly at Roy, causing a little grin to spread as she waved. "Oh, what a rare appearance! I feel I should grab a red carpet for you to grace us with your presence, dear future-Father-in-Law! " Roy wasn't the only one who could be sarcastic! Though, it was pretty obvious Phoenix was teasing him in a playful manor. It was true, she rarely ever seen Nero's father. "He's here, and he's not..It's a God thing, you know! Nero is..." She paused."Doing fine.." That was a bit of a lie, but at the same time, this wasn't the time to discuss family problems and drive Roy away for another year. He would know eventually, because she would tell him when things calmed down again. If it was one thing she wanted to do, it would be to fix the relationship between Nero and his father. Phoenix began to walk over to him, so she could talk a little quieter and only so he could hear. "I hope you are prepared for a date soon." She paused, purposely trying to get his mind in a jumble and freak him out. "Get Isabel, and Nero and I will be meeting for a double date day, when things settle down. You and Nero will get time to talk alone, and Isabel and I will hang out else where, get to know each other better..With the times as they are now, wouldn't you like to get to know your son better? " And really, even if he didn't agree, she WOULD make him. Even Nero.

The garden was a busy place typically, though as the party went on in the area of the ballroom, the rest of the garden was really very quiet. The Quad also fell into silence, but for the faint,soft sounds of a harp being idly plucked. Obviously, the one playing it wasn't going for a real attempt of playing it, she was just kind of sitting there at the stage area where all the random instruments laid. She just so happened to be closest to the harp, and in her current state, it helped to take her mind off of things.
"....I should have gotten something to drink before I left..." She said quietly to herself. A nice glass of iced-tea would have been refreshing."..No! I can't go back there...Can't...ruin Yugi's fun. He was smiling and laughing...I can't be the reason that ends...! " She was having a bit of a argument with herself, all without knowing what had happened with Yugi and his fun time. There was the cafeteria , though she was pretty sure the drinks at the party would taste better! While she sat there, one thing was for sure, Hana was one very boring angel when her heart and mind were stressed!
"Oh come on.." Yuffie muttered to herself, sighing at Trinity. "Hey, Agrias. " Yuffie calmly stepped over to her friend, gesturing her to follow her to a quieter location,though still in the party's room. "Don't worry about her..She's a friend, she lacks brains more so then Sephiroth, but it's fine, okay? Um, I think she's trying to fit in this Halloween theme we have going. That's all. Trinity has always been really dramatic and insane..Anyway....Are you alright?"

 Agrias Oaks The blonde holy knight nods and follows Yuffie to a quieter part of the room., carrying her cake and the golden hued drink provided to her. Sitting down again, at first she stared into the drink she had taken a few sips that had burned her throat slightly. Agrias glances over at the Wutai princess with tear-rimmed blue eyes, stammers a reply, "I am fi... I..." The paladin's voice seems to catch in her throat, as she almost seems to sink slightly, "I ... really am not doing well at all. I came here following you, pull a little joke on you, and the next thing I know -- your husband is threatening me. Then undead show up, I pull you out and turn the zombies...."The lonely knight took a drink of the whiskey, before continuing, "The next thing I know is I'm in a argument from a couple of the men. Am I ... I just feel so unappreciated. And... Thank god for you. If it weren't for you, I think I would have gone completely mad. I think if it weren't for you, I would be a hermit...."

Ken Amada "This is not the time... FOR ME TO GIVE UP!" A brown-haired boy walked nervously into the Garden, one who had been unseen in this world by everyone here. Though unlike most off-worlders, he could certainly pass for living here, as he didn't look terribly different. He actually looked like an older Denzel, in a way.
Right as he entered the party area, he felt a small weight slam into him, as Kanna was trying to run out of the Garden and accidentally ran into him. He stumbled a bit, but managed to stay on his feet. "Agh!" He grunted out, regaining his composure after a moment. "S-sorry. I'm not sure where I am... are you okay?" He asked, had she fallen he would hold his arm out for her to take."Arf!" A white dog with an orange jacket on and an odd device around its neck let out, walking over to the young girl and inspecting her. "....Rr?" He growled a bit. "..." He backed away from the girl slightly."Koromaru?" Ken asked, before looking at Kanna, confused. "...I don't speak dog or anything, but I think he's trying to say you're not what you seem... are you in disguise or something?" What Koromaru was actually referring to was the fact that Kanna had the ability to shapeshift into a dragon, and it was something the dog hadn't experienced before so it put him on guard. (( OOC: ))

Nero Utagawa  Nero remained silent as Kanna turned and jumped into a table causing some drinks and other things to fall and nodded as she said no thank you and put the peach back in the bag. He was about to say sorry for scaring her but she ran and feeling awful about what happened and wanting to try to do the right thing went to apologize.

        Yuffie grabbed herself a small sake cup, before pouring in some sake. So long as she only had one, it wouldn't be a big deal, she would never get drunk on one simple cup. The last party she did go over-board, which she wouldn't do this time considering how much it upset Stark that day. As she sat down with her friend, Yuffie looked at her paladin friend with concern. "I'm sorry..You know, Stark may come off as a little harsh, but he really didn't mean to hurt you, you know? I think, after everything were all very stressed out. I mean, this whole party Zack put together so that we all could be together again, mend any troubles we may of had with our friends and family. We don't know what to expect from this beast threat, everyone is just on edge. " The party was meant to lesson that edge and tension on everyone, but it didn't seem to be doing a very good job. "I know it's not as easy as it sounds,um...but maybe just try to forget about what happened? You're a wonderful person,Agrias! Everyone knows that..even my over-protective hubby does." She tried to say that in a playful way, even if he denied it, she was sure she was right. Had something happened to Agrias, and no one but Stark was around, she had no doubt he would come to her rescue.
"Ahh...really? " Yuffie blinked, looking a little surprised at her words. What had she done that made her so helpful to Agrias? That was a mystery to the young ninja. "I don't think that's completely true, haven't you become good friends with Isabel, if anyone would of been a great help to you, I imagine it would be her? I mean...I'm happy to know I've been helpful to you..It's just a little surprising. " Pausing, Yuffie knew she wasn't doing the greatest job with talking to Agrias, she was never very good with making people feel better. It wasn't as if she had many friends who confined in deep conversation with her to really give her experience to get better. "You are very much appreciated, though. By me and many others! You are family, and one of the most determined to protect others of all of us, I think. That isn't a bad thing, ether. "
Kanna's mind wasn't entirely there, which was not always a good thing, had she been determined and frightened enough, she would have taken to other measures to get away. Which if she did, there would be a massive hole in the garden, and a very hurt young boy as she suddenly made a unexpected impact. The young girl felt herself come in contact with the floor to her backside, making her cringe a little as she began to sit up. Dazed for only seconds, Kanna was trying to make out the face that was now in front of her. A young light brown haired teenage boy, who was now holding out a hand for her to take. ".....I'm..so sorry..!" She managed to get out as she hesitantly took his hand to stand. "I'm sorry....I wasn't watching where I was going, was I? Oh, god..." And in a place that she obviously didn't belong in, she already almost hurt someone! "...I'm more worried about you..I'm okay, but you? Are you sure I didn't hurt you?"
Then, she heard the small barking of a small dog standing there at her feet, seeming to inspect her by sniffing, only to back away with caution seconds later. "...Oh..I .." Hmm. Was it really a good idea to let her identity be known so carelessly? He didn't seem threatening, but still...She already had enough trouble with strange people chasing her down various times before, her first meeting in this world was far from pleasant! "...Disguise, I guess you could say that..I'm no threat to you! Or anyone here, so...um, can we just leave it at that? " She asked as politely as she could.

  - Cosmos Wolve -   Suddenly, a multi-colored orb appeared in the middle of the party area, high up to the ceiling, the sphere radiated many colors through out the area, shining softly as glittery confetti began to fall from the ceiling out of no where! Next, balloons fell. This was enough to get the younger ones, even Juliet, Aiko and the various kids of the garden to start playing in it. Some went after the balloons, while Juliet danced in the confetti. Aiko, however, shifted form into her little fluffy wolf-like form, as she began to chase the balloons. Each time she almost got one into her paws, it would slip away, causing her to go for another pounce until her claws dug into it enough, and it popped! She would continue chasing after them for as long as they existed, or stopped falling. "You see, now THIS is a party starter! Take that Nero...!" She had to say it, he had his habits of dropping spiked balls, or soccer balls from the heavens, hers actually caused...fun!
"....Special powers don't count, you didn't put any effort into what you did, I can feel it! Zack here did. " Aerith suddenly began to say, she felt as if this girl was trying to steal Zack's hard work, or rather, make it look less then her special tricks. "You shouldn't rely on powers so much...There's no feeling to it. You didn't put your heart into bringing everyone together as he did!"
"...Hmmmm? Wait, are you insulting me!? I could--" "Stop it!" Unisha's voice stopped Cosmos from finishing that sentence. This daughter of hers was a real pill! "You aren't allowed to cause any trouble here! " She said to Cosmos, who muttered something under her breath quietly, turning away with crossed arms. "What-eevvvver! "
"Stupid..she thinks she can talk down to me...!!"

Kaden Wolve"Bring everything at us! It won't matter; our dreams will never waver. You could never erase our hopes for the future!" The poor prince wouldn't be able to free himself from his stalker, it seemed, as he grunted, feeling Ariel's arms around him and her shouting. "Oh god, why me?" He grunted a bit, though it wasn't as bad as he made it out to be. She WAS very cute. "I can't move, the creepy stalker caught me..." He said, rather melodramatically as if he had no hope of escape any longer."What sort of goddess are you?" Came Nero's almost equally condescending voice from behind Cosmos, as the blonde god appeared there. It was quite a sight since he was the most powerful being in the world, but also one of the shortest. Cosmos was taller than him. "Hardly a divine being, I must say. You haven't any authority of your own. You simply begrudgingly follow the orders given to you, like a good girl! How sweet. And you wish to pretend you are on my level! So adorable." And just like that, a softball would fall onto Cosmos' head and bounce a little off it, falling to the floor and rolling away after. That would certainly not be embarrassing at all!"Nah, I'm good," Ken said, showing the girl a reassuring smile. "You're the one who fell after all. I just want to make sure you aren't hurt too bad. You're a pretty small girl." But a very deadly one, surprisingly. Not that he was saying she was weak--he knew better than to judge people by their appearance. Koromaru here was extremely skilled in battle, and he himself had been fighting since he was in elementary school, and was a competent member of SEES the whole time.
"Oh, that's fine. We all have our secrets," just like him and his Persona abilities. That wasn't something he told just anyone. Though, since he was clearly no longer in his own world, perhaps the rules would be different here. Yes, he had already figured that out--it wasn't like it was a total shocker. Tartarus and the Dark Hour were like another world of their own, but he had also gone to the Shadow World during the struggle against Sho. So, different worlds weren't exactly news for him, though to be seemingly permanently in one that had its own cities and people was certainly different. "I'm Ken. Ken Amada. Can I ask your name, or is that a secret too?" He asked, obviously being a bit playful. "Though you were in a rush. If you need to leave, I won't take any more of your time." (( OOC: ))

- Cosmos Wolve -    "I'm not a stalker! " Ariel said in a rather cheerful voice, giggling as she held him. "I'm Ariel! And I was your very best friend..Even if your another Kaden from a different future, you are still him..I don't care what anyone else says, you're Kadie! " Slowly letting him go now, she slipped in front of him, her blue eyes settling on his..red ones? Okay, that was another question she would have to ask about, but for now, maybe not. For some reason she didn't feel it was a pleasent situation she wanted to know about, or he wanted to discuss. "..Can we just, start over? I mean, from the beginning? We can start our friendship over...If you will accept me as one? " Ariel's voice was a lot softer now as she calmed her excitment down. Making him uncomfortable wouldn't do him any good, or her ether if he ran away again. "You've been through a lot, haven't you? I won't ask you to talk about it, but if ever you need someone to talk to, i'm always going to be here for you! Please trust in me if you ever need someone.." She paused a moment, lifting her hand to gently touch the side of his face. While to him, or others it may seem a romantic move, but it wasn't what she was going for. "Those markings...They're new..Hey, Kadie..are you really okay?" Her hand lowered again. Small changes she didn't notice before, along with the crimson of his eyes.
Cosmos turned suddenly, her head lowering slightly to find the short blond God in front of her. "Oh, how nice. You did decide to show, for your own humiliation! " That may leave him questioning her motive, then again, it was Nero, he probably would know everything she was already thinking! "I have yet to learn to break my mother's link to pause my power, you little twit of a god! Until that time, and especially now, I won't be embarrassed because of her. " Though, she kind of already was the moment Unisha yelled at her to stop and ordered her not to cause trouble. "Right, we'll see about that when you're fall---" And, the little thump to her head as a softball fell straight down on it, only to bounce away, paused her from saying anything more. "I see. You want to play that game...Let's show the entire room -just- how powerful you are! " And suddenly, she gave a little shove to Nero, and considering his short size, the shove was more then his body could stand up to, making him fall right at his back onto the floor. Next, Cosmos vanished, only to seconds after appear right...over him! Pinning him to the floor, the teenage goddess grinned down at him. "How many more seconds, until your powers are rendered useless? Tickity tock, Nero's power's are on the clock! " They should be quickly draining the longer she managed to keep him down!
The light blue haired girl managed a small smile. "Nope. It would take a lot more to hurt me then that..Hee,hee. I'm a lot stronger then people think. " People always judged her by her short hight. Then they quickly learned upon seeing her in battle that she wasn't the weak girl she may of looked. Nodding to his next words, she grinned playfully. "Mmhmm. We do, don't we. There's a lot of secrets in this world. " Kanna paused as she glanced down at the cute pup once more, she had a sudden urge to pet it! But, it seemed in a protecting, cautious mode, so that probably wouldn't be a smart idea if she wanted to keep her hand! "I'm Kanna..Um, we don't have two names...last names, as everyone seems to be calling them. " It was strange to her, why did people need two names? "And this is? " She gestured to the little pup, smiling.
Then, she realized she had completely forgotten about the one she was fleeing from, causing her to look back only to see that same person was heading into their direction. "..Ahhh! Don't follow me!" Without thinking, she grabbed Ken's hand, and began to run with him the other way, in attempt to find a good hiding spot somewhere, where the stranger couldn't find them. Hopefully with the warning she gave, he would stop before things really got out of hand.

However, I'm not him. Don't pretend we're the same," He said. "If you wish to by my friend, or anything more, you should think of me as a different person under the same name." As she continued to speak, he shrugged. "I guess. It's not like I've ever really met you before anyway." So it basically was starting over in the most thorough way possible. Rubbing the back of his head, he nodded. "I'm fine. Just been through a lot in the last few days. But it's not all bad; I'm more powerful now. Maybe I'll be able to help more against the Beast like this." Sure, he was turned into the thing all his family and people despised, but hey, might as well look at the positives. Not to mention he got personal attention from his master. ...Which he wouldn't be mentioning around Ariel here. "Nice to meet you, stalker.""The only humiliation I see is the one in front of me." Nero retorted, indicating her obviously. "Oh please, I know you're already embarrassed, little goddess wannabe. Especially with how weak Unisha is." Not nearly as weak as his own mother, though.
As she shoved him, he let out a grunt, being sent straight to his back by the taller of the two divine beings. Before he could react (kinda), he felt a pressure on him, and felt his wrists being pinned to the floor. Suddenly, that confident, condescending look drained from the teen's eyes, replaced by one of surprise and a bit of fear! "Wha... H-how could you have known my weakness...?" He gasped out, and just as she said, within moments his powers were draining. He struggled, but it was vain; she was clearly physically stronger than him. And less than ten seconds later, his body sort of laid back into the floor, and she would be able to feel that he was now completely powerless. Poor Nero. Maybe he shouldn't have challenged her after all."I see. You remind me of someone I used to know." Ken said, actually referring to himself when he was younger. "A person who won't let the sacrifices of others be in vain." He said, a hint of determination in his voice as his mind flashed back to the moment of someone's death. Someone important to him, who had given his life to ensure Ken would be able to live his.
"Nice to meet you, Kanna. I guess it's not illogical to think that there would be people in other worlds who wouldn't have last names. In my world, or, the country in my world, they're used to tell what family you're from and calling someone by their last names is a sign of respect. But you can just call me Ken. Don't worry about formalities." Not to mention it helped distinguish people who had common names. "This is Koromaru. He's been a good friend of mine for years, and I've been taking care of him ever since my friends graduated." The other members of SEES, that was. He was still a middle-schooler himself, interestingly. He acted and looked older than he actually was. He was very composed and calm for his age, but his youth would sometimes slip out. "I wouldn't take him lightly though. He's may be an old dog, but he's not a foe I'd ever want to have." Also, something about new tricks.
"Wha-ah?!" Ken gasped out as she took his hand and ran off in another direction. "Hey! If there's an enemy, Koromaru and I can handle it!" He said, not understanding the situation obviously. Koromaru barked, and chased after the two, easily keeping up with their speed.(( OOC: ))

Nero Utagawa Nero sighed as he got close to Kanna but before he could speak she ran off again this time with another person and his dog following. "this is really starting to get old" he thought as he slipped into a shadow and followed them till he got ahead of them but to the two and their dog it was just his shadow. "Look if I knew doing the right thing was this hard I would not even bothered but at least lets talk after all you can't run from fear is that not so" he asked.

- Cosmos Wolve - "...But..You both look exactly the same, you come from the same parents, Doesn't that make you the same? The only difference you share is being from another future, right? " Then again, she had yet to see his personality, and right now it was seeming to be a lot more serious then she remembered of the other Kaden. Still, thinking of him as a completely different person seemed to be a real challenge. "..I mean...If you want me to think of you that way, i'll do my best..?" As hard as that would be. She nodded a little, both happy and a little sad at the same time. It was good he would give her a starting over chance, while it was hard to think of all the memories as gone with the other Kaden. It really wasn't as easy as he may of thought. "..Hmm...You mean you've been training?" Yeah, if that was the reason he had become more powerful. "I know it's selfish, but..considering everything you've been through, while I don't know all those details, don't you think you should stay out of that battle? What if it becomes to much for you? I think you should relax a little, you need strength physically, but you also need it mentally! If you get distracted....... " It would be a quick game over. "...And I am not a stalker! It's A-R-I-E-L! Mr.Meanie! "
"S-Shut up, puny-one! You talk big, but really, you are just as helpless as your own mother when it comes to physical strength, now aren't you? " And she so well proved that theory when Nero was sent down with just a small shove. It took seconds after she had pinned him for his powers to drain, just enough for her to feel comfortable enough to get back to her feet. "How? Because...I...Am...A..Goddess!! " Cosmos began to laugh mechanically, and suddenly, her foot would be planted against his face, twisting it a little to send some embarrassment in as she held him down.
"Annoying...girl.." Phoenix said lowly, the moment Nero appeared, she turned from Roy to watch his interaction with the worlds most annoying niece of hers. But, her rage only increased as she began her little humiliation play on Nero. "Hey, Roy. Wanna see something awesome?" Phoenix raised her hand, her palm pointed directly at Cosmos, who seemed overly distracted with Nero to realize. A flame erupted from her palm, growing in size slightly before shooting off at her, as it flew toward the irritating girl, the flame took the form of a Phoenix, and with it's 'wings' fully out stretched it was about the size of a macaw, so nothing to big. The confident Cosmos would suddenly be knocked forward, flying off Nero several feet away and sliding across the shiny polished floors a good ways. Oh, yes. This WAS funny! The flame didn't hurt her, as real as it looked, there was no actual heat and it vanished the second it hit her. "Heh, heh..Now that's a insult to all true goddess's. "
"Hmm? " She tilted her head curiously, she wouldn't of gotten it had he not said those next words, the determination in his voice made it clearer. "Oh, So you mean you? " She smiled, yeah. She was right about him, he definitely had a good, caring heart. "You know, your the nicest person from this world I've come in contact with..I guess I could see it the moment we met, no matter how.. awkward of a moment that was!" She had to laugh a little at that. Fate ran her into him, and in just the right time.Kanna was feeling so lonely and lost, and ever time she went outside was another worry to her mind of who or what would be following her. There was that constant wonder of her friend Henry's fate, after losing sight of him one night of another ShinRa attack, she hadn't been able to find him since then.
When he began to explain the real reason of last names, it had her questioning why exactly her world didn't do these things. It did make sense,sure might help on not confusing people when adressing one with the very same name! And then, came her little fright, as she, without warning to poor Ken, grabbed her new friend and ran off with him to hide from the strange, creepy man that seemed to want to follow her. Only when they were out of sight of him, did she began to speak. Her voice was softer, just above a whisper. "I don't know if he is, um....well......I don't know! He suddenly appeared behind me, and tried to give me a peach from his own bag. It was a little creepy...To creepy! And now he tried to follow..It seems to suspicious to me! "
And..speak of the devil. There he was. Or rather, his shadow? So, that wasn't at all creepy. "...I..don't trust just anyone...I don't know you, or what you could have put in that fruit...You could be a part of those ShinRa people for all I know! Please leave, following me isn't helping me trust you more!"

   Meanwhile, at her quiet little table, Teresa had ended up falling asleep, her head in her arms. A glass of fruit punch in the middle of the table she had previously been drinking before falling asleep. She must have been more exhausted then she let on! There was a nice little pile of glittery confetti piled up in her hair in a small mound, and her back. It really was quite funny, and destined for a picture from certain two little girls.
When suddenly, a pink golden glow appeared around her sleepy form, one might notice almost immediately, it wasn't a dark presence, but a highly holy aura similar to Unisha's own, though it even seemed stronger then hers. Strange, for sure. The glow around her brightened into a pure white light seconds later, forming into what looked to be a dress of light before the light died down. In place of that, Teresa was now wearing a long, elegant layered white and pink dress. Anyone who knew her well enough may even notice her hair was much longer. Two white large bows kept up the sides of her hair into little pony tails, while the rest was lose around her shoulders and back. The next that would become quickly obvious was the transparent white and pink faded wings that would appear at her back.
While all this happened, she continued to sleep soundly. The question was, what happened? What she didn't know, was that great sister of hers, Cosmos, was desperately trying to get the attention off herself, so much she resorted into putting a new look to Teresa. Though, there was a lot more that was behind that. Was it a simple costume Cosmos picked for her, or something more? Cosmos was already on her feet, shooting death glares at Phoenix, all the while hoping the attention was drawn away from her without making it to obvious.. "And now for you...! " Phoenix, would feel a strange power over her now, and suddenly the world began to look a loooot smaller. Actually, people did. Yep, Cossie just shrunk poor Phoenix!

Agrias Oaks The paladin gave Yuffie a mirthless smile that seemed to frame her tear-rimmed eyes, "I believe it is a bit worse than that, I'm afraid. I think you're the only one who has shown me ... any measure of genuine love. And no, I'm not saying .... or implying that you love your husband or your ... future kids and more or less. You just seem to show concern and love for others, whether you believe it or not. You may not be fully conscious of what you do, but you are a very loving woman. Being 'love-starved', I think I've become more keenly aware of it.
"If there is one thing I know, it is that I've found almost everything ever written about love to be true. I suppose I think about love more than anyone really should. I am constantly amazed by its sheer power to alter and define our lives. ‘Love is blind’ -- Now that is something I know to be true! For some quite inexplicably, love fades; for others love is simply lost. But then of course love can also be found, even if just for the night. " Agrias stared into the golden colored drink, taking another sip. As she lowered the glass back to the table's surface, the blonde closed her eyes -- as if she were summoning the strength to bring forth everything that has been plaguing her. A wellspring of memories threatening to become a deluge. Painful memories that have been held in by the fortress within Agrias' heart, "And then, there's another kind of love: the cruelest kind. The one that almost kills its victims. It’s called unrequited love of which I am an expert. Most love stories you hear and read about are about people who fall in love with each other. But what about the rest of us? What about our stories, those of us who fall in love alone? We are the victims of the one sided affair. We are the cursed, the unloved ones, the walking wounded."Opening her tear-streamed blue eyes, Agrias' gaze met Yuffie's, showing the ninja princess the extent of the emotional turmoil wrought upon her heart, "Yes, you are looking at one such individual. And I have willingly loved someone for over three miserable years! And they were the absolute worst years of my life! These years that I have been in love have been the darkest days of my life. All because I've been cursed by being in love with someone who has never love me back nor will ever love me back. It is because of this, that I understand feeling as small and as insignificant as humanly possible. And how it can actually ache in places you didn't know you had inside you. You end up going to bed every night going over every detail and wonder what you did wrong or how you could have misunderstood."This was when the dam broke, and the holy knight's tears flowed freely down her cheeks. Several sobs interrupted the paladin's unbarring of her soul. A few moments pass, and Agrias has regained control, "And how in the hell for that brief moment you could think that you were that happy! And sometimes you can even convince yourself that he'll see the light and show up at your door…. And after all that, however long ‘all that’ may be, you'll go somewhere new. "The holy knight gently clasped Yuffie's hand, and gave it a slight squeeze before she finished, "And you'll meet people who make you feel worthwhile again. And little pieces of your soul will finally come back. And all that fuzzy stuff, those years of your life that you wasted, that will eventually begin to fade."
