(Poor Icepaw. When she wakes up her mentor's gonna be dead.)
[Icepaw struggled greatly when she was pined. she snarled with rage and snapped before her mouth was forced open. She took the poppy seeds and struggled some more before calming down and slowly becoming limp. Icepaws eyes dropped, but she was still snarling. It was obvious that she needed to be knocked out before she hurt someone.]

 M a p l e l e a f "Stand up for what you believe in; otherwise, you will be trampled on by those who don't."____________________________________ [Mapleleaf stepped forth from among the crowd. She dipped her head, paying her respects to both Doveflight and Willowstar. She saw some cats curl their lips at her, and she snarled.]
"She was a loyal warrior, up until the Madness. She came back to her Clan, didn't she?" Mapleleaf hissed.
[Mapleleaf snorted then turned to Dewburst, blinking her green eyes kindly.]
"Welcome back, Dewburst." Mapleleaf mewed as she pressed her nose to his in a gesture of comfort and welcome.
[Mapleleaf turned to Cloverpaw, unsure of the tom's feelings. Deciding to take a bold step, she stepped toward him, quite timidly.]
"Cloverpaw? If you'd like, we can take a break and go train or hunt, or something. So you can have a break, I mean. Then we can come back and properly mourn for our lost Clanmates."

[Cloverpaw blinked up to his mentor, his gaze becoming soft in an instant. He had no reason to direct his negative feelings toward her. Mapleleaf was more of a mother to him than Doveflight had been for almost a moon now. He glanced at Spadekit, Cometstream, and the rest of BreezeClan, sensing that things were mellowing out now.
The young tabby stood up from his position next to Dicekit, giving her a lick on the ear before padding up to Mapleleaf.]
“I'd like to, if it's alright with you, Mapleleaf...But the question remains, do you want to train me or hunt?”
[He tilted his head, green eyes sparkling. Cloverpaw always felt a little better around his mentor. Perhaps it was because of the praise, though he doubted it. He just liked to learn from Mapleleaf.]________________________

M a p l e l e a f "Stand up for what you believe in; otherwise, you will be trampled on by those who don't."____________________________________ [Mapleleaf licked Cloverpaw's ear, then turned toward the entrance of camp, almost running into Galespirit.]
"Oh! Welcome back! We've missed you!" Mapleleaf mewed, her luminous green eyes shining with happiness for the return of the cats.
[Mapleleaf immediately dipped her head, in a sign of respect from warrior to leader. Registering the surprised look on the cream colored warrior's face, her eyes grew dull with grief.]
"I'm so sorry. Willowstar. . .is dead. Doveflight killed her. Doveflight is dead, as well as. . .Berryblaze."
[Mapleleaf pressed her nose to Galespirit's flank, comforting him. She silently excused herself, and trotted back to Cloverpaw.]
"Why don't we go for a quick run through our territory, then we'll see what we're gonna do."

     ❧  ♨[Galespirit stared after Mapleleaf. The fur on the back of his neck rose.
He stood, not moving. Embergaze's ears swiveled, flattening against his head.]
"Galespirit...?" he whispered, unsure of whether or not the cat was alright.
[Galesprit said nothing. His fur rose even more, puffind outwards. His tail stood on end.
The cats around him had already accepted it. He could tell. They had been dead for some time.]
"How?" he finally managed to hiss, eyes bulging.
Embergaze took a step back, and Galespirit roared to nobody and everybody, "How are they all dead?"
[Embergaze flinched, then looked away, closing his eyes.
Poor Galespirit...that makes him leader...it pushes a bunch of responsibility on him...
He closed his eyes. Embergaze was able to get over deaths. It was no good to mourn...it was better to remember to good in all of those brave warriors.
Then remembered something from long ago.
Oakkit.
He raised his head, and began to search for the small kit. She had waited for so long, because she wanted him to mentor her...]

 O w l t a l o n“Belief is not a matter of choice, but of conviction.”____________________________[Owltalon stepped forward, ready to face the hysterical new leader. His golden eyes flashed, understanding how much of a shock it must be for him to finally return to his Clan, only to find the leader, medicine cat, and former deputy dead.]
“Galespirit, Doveflight lost herself to the Madness. It was too late for her. Willowstar...She accepted death. Berryblaze had died trying to protect her. They both died like warriors, Galespirit. Then...Cometstream, that tabby she-cat over there, burst into camp and killed Doveflight. It was the right thing to do. The queen had begun to hurt her kits. She wasn't sane...But, aside from that, Cometstream was BreezeClan's former medicine cat, from Dewstar's reign. She might be able to fill in for Berryblaze, with your permission of course, Galespirit.”
[Owltalon dipped his head to his new leader in respect, hoping that this all wouldn't be too much for him to handle, and flicked his tail in the direction of the newcomer. Another thought crossed his mind. With Willowstar dead and Galespirit leader...who would be deputy?]______________________ . .

❧ ♨[Galespirit bared his teeth, staring at the ground. His pelt rippled.
Suddenly, his face went blank. He stood, thinking for a wile.]
Suddenly, he said, "Wasn't Doveflight supposed to be knocked out?"
[Slowly, Galespirit turned to Owltalon.]
"Did nobody remember? She was supposed to be unconcious."
He whirled around, eyes searching, and said, "A strange cat comes in and kills one of my warriors, and you think I'm going to let her be the medicine cat?"
Eyes on fire, Galespirit said coldly, "But I suppose none of you REMEMBERED that we left to get the REMEDY to RESTORE Doveflight to her ORIGINAl state, eh?"
He whipped around, and shouted, "She insulted you, right? Mocked you, teased you, threatened you! And ALL OF YOU began to HATE the Doveflight that wasn't Doveflight, and LET ANOTHER CAT KILL HER because you hated her!"
He yowled in agony, "Why didn't any of you remember we were coming home?! Why didn't you remember that Doveflight would never do something like that? Why didn't you tell Cometstream there was a cure, and we were RETURNING WITH IT?!"
[He shuddered, falling to the ground, shaking his head. Then he stood, eyes stricken with grief.]
"I should have never left," he said simply.
"Where is this Cometstream? Come forward, whoever you are," he said, tail drooping tiredly.

(Cometstream currently has a snarling Icepaw pinned down. ^ ^ She's standing near Owltalon I think, so Galespirit would probably see her.)

O w l t a l o n“Belief is not a matter of choice, but of conviction.”____________________________ [Owltalon's gaze remained unwavering, though his pelt bristled with unease. His golden eyes flashing, he held back a hiss and dipped his head once more.]
“Galespirit, it happened faster than you could imagine. Doveflight seemed to be returning to her sane self, just like Dewburst, so Berryblaze allowed her to stretch her legs. Unfortunatly, it started off as just insults towards Willowstar, and then...Well, towards the end, she was dangling from the High Tree, about to fall. I tried to save her, I honestly did, but she slipped and fell. Cometstream saved her, but Doveflight turned on her. She only acted out of self-defense, Galespirit. It was an unneccessary death, I admit, and I apologize.”
[Owltalon stepped back, tail flicking, and Duskpaw stepped forward.]
“He speaks the truth, Galespirit. Everything happened so quickly, no one even had the chance to react. Doveflight's actions became spontaneous and erratic. She was unpredictable and dangerous. We couldn't stop her without letting more of our warriors die.”
[She nervously dipped her head and stepped back to Dewburst, waiting for her new leader to subdue before trying to grab any of the remedy herbs from him. Her olive-gold eyes flashed with concern, wondering how could Galespirit deal with such chaos in the Clan.]______________________..

Having to leave the camp in an already unstable state, only to return to three dead Clanmates and a stranger in camp.
Sighing, Cloverpaw looked at the camp entrance, then his mentor. He turned back to Dicekit.]
“Make sure you and Spadekit speak to Galespirit about assigning you mentors.” [He mewed to his sister, green eyes flashing concern. He turned back to Mapleleaf with a glimmer of excitement in his eyes.] “Okay then, let's go.”
[He mewed, beginning to pad off and out of camp. Truthfully, he was just happy to leave the stress and drama in camp behind, if only for a little while.]________________________

 D u s k p a w“Never give up on something that you can't go a day without thinking about.”___________________________[Duskpaw saw that Galespirit had given Icepaw the remedy, so she decided to do the same for Dewburst. After all, the tom had been among the first to be bitten, and he's survived the worst of it. Padding for the pile of remedy herbs, Duskpaw neatly took one of the purple stems out and went back to Dewburst. She did the same as Galespirit, chewing up the stem and spitting it out onto her paw. She raised it up to Dewburst mouth.]
“This'll make you feel better, Dewburst. Lap it up.”
[The tom obeyed and lapped up the pulp. Duskpaw shook her paw clean of any resedue from the herb before looking back to Galespirit. She wondered if she should get him a few thyme leaves...She shrugged, knowing that he'd probably refuse. He had to deal with Cometstream first.]
(( Sorry for controlling Dewburst a little...I just thought it would take too long to wait for him to eat it. > <;;; ))____________________________

M a p l e l e a f "Stand up for what you believe in; otherwise, you will be trampled on by those who don't."____________________________________ [Mapleleaf and Cloverpaw padded over the springy turf, onto a ridge that overlooked almost the whole of BreezeClan territory. She sat down, curling her tail around her paws as the wind buffeted her fur.]
"Cloverpaw, this is my favorite place. I come here whenever I need to escape, whenever I need to get away from stress. It's just so peaceful here, and you can see for miles. It almost is as if you rule the territory. For me, this is a relaxing place," Mapleleaf meowed.
[She licked Cloverpaw's ear and stood back up, letting the wind ruffle her fur in a cool breeze. Almost instantly, the mouthwatering aroma of fresh rabbit overwhelmed her.]
"Say, I smell rabbit. Whaddya say we go for a hunt?"
