Talon and Dusk were on the roof of the Baron's mansion, Talon on the phone. "I want it done, and I want it done now, Kai.....I know....ok." Hanging up, Dusk asked. "So, is Kai gonna be here or not?" Talon and she were both in the rogue thief outfits, masks raised. "Yeah, he's on his way."

Gambler and Kyoshi cornered at creepy looking guy that held a knife against a young womans throat. "Do it. You know where your going afterwards." Gambler said calmly but her eyes told another story. Kyoshi had his gun ready at his side. "Ready when you are Gambler."

It had been a success. Easy money in Dusk's mind. The Baron was home, but a few drinks and a little dance done by the hybrid knocked his horny self out. "ew...I can't believe I almost had to strip..." Talon and Kai laughed, handing her the biggest portion of the cash. "Eh, I'm not complaining..." Dusk hit Talon.
"Yikes...you've gotten stronger...that one actually almost hurt..."
Kai laughed, but had to avoid a knife being thrown at him. "Play nice, Kit!" Glaring at the two, Dusk could do nothing but just grin and bear it. These were some of her closest friends, the only problem was they liked to annoy her just as much as she liked to annoy them.

"Nice shot." "I didn't think so." "But you went straight for his head without him seeing it." "I guess it was a nice shot." "Where's your woman?" "You mean Kitten?" "You mean you nicknamed her already? Bro. Just becareful. Remember the last one?" "Yeah. But Kitten is different. She's different from all the others. She's way different from the last one." "Alright. But if worst comes to worst I'm here. And so are the guys but all of them have been going steady in this chaotic world." "I've noticed." Gambler grinned at Kyoshi. It was times like theses that made it okay to have a friend. But the underlining threat made them highly paranoid. "So. Are we doing that tag team thing like we did back in the day?" Kyoshi asked. "Yeah. But it will be fun now because there are no rules for us." "Game on." He looked up and his mind went to Dusk. Hopefully she was okay.

Drinks soon followed a heist. It was almost required in their mind. All three of the thieves spoke about things that had happened over the past few weeks, both being surprised when Dusk spoke about Kyoshi. "Wow, Kit...you're actually with a guy that isn't a thief...I'm amazed!"
"Oh shut up Kai!!"

Kyoshi had got back to the apartment soon after walking Gambler to her location. It wasn't like he was going to find her their anyways. Kyoshi went into his living room with a new pack of cigs and laid down on the couch. He began to smoke and closed his eyes. He hadn't realize how sleepy he was.

Mist smiled and acted like a happy little kid, "Yay! I'm a cute and sweet fox!" Laughing, Mist looked at Catherine. "And you're quite the lovely and adorable wolf." Even in her wolf form, Mist wasn't ever really afraid of Catherine. He probably should have, but he wasn't. She was just too cute.
"So...you're with someone for real now?" Kai had left to help his sister, so it was Talon and Dusk. Sighing, she nodded. "Yeah. Didn't think I'd be with him... that's for sure." Talon looked thoughtful. "Eh..."

Catherine chuckled, "So that is why the creatures I decide are my next meal never run away. They all think I am cute and adorable," she grinned at him showing her normal teeth without the fangs. Making her seem more human.

Mist grinned, "But...you are cute and adorable...just...cute and adorable with fangs. Which..." He kissed her cheek, "makes you even cuter really..." All of the years spent with insane thieves had rubbed off on Mist...he was no longer considered sane...

Kyoshi knocked out before he knew it. This time it was all blank. A white space that had nothing but him. The lights went out and everything was dark. 'Not again. Not now.' He groaned. He began to twitch in his sleep, dropping his still lit cig on the floor. This seemed like a bad situation waiting to happen.

Dusk sighed. "Talon..."
"No, let me talk. You left me, why?"
She sighed again. "Because I was scared, ok?"
Talon nodded. "Why though?" He put down his drink, not even half of it drunk yet. "Did I do something? I wanna know, Dusk..."
Looking at Talon, Dusk looked him over. Why had she gotten scared? Talon was handsome, even with his mask on. Black choppy hair down to his shoulders, lean figure slightly shorter than Kyoshi, and to top it all off, silver eyes. He was nice, even if he was a thief. Talon had always reminded her of the Thief Lord from the book, just older.
So, what did he do? Nothing...it was all on her.
"I...I have to go, Talon...I don't want Kyo to worry."
Sighing, Talon stood up with her. "can I at least walk you there? I don't trust you out on your own now that Mist and Zaine aren't with you...:

That bad situation that was waiting to happen, actually happened and well it wasn't Kyoshi's fault. It was but it just wasn't only Kyoshi. He twitched somemore trying to wake up, feeling the burning near his left side of his body. The fire had indeed caught on the carpet, the coffee table and was gearing towards the t.v. and curtains. Kyoshi's left side was being burned and he couldn't do anything about it because the enemy had trapped him in his mind. He tried to fight it but it wasn't working. No one would come for him.

Dusk and Talon were walking, getting close to the apartment, when Talon's eyes widened. Sniffing the air, he grabbed Dusk's hands and ran to the home. "Wh-What?!" "Just hurry!" When he stopped, he told Dusk, "Get us there, now." Nodding her head, Dusk and Talon were soon in the apartment.
"Kyoshi!"
The place was catching fire. Running to Kyoshi, Dusk tried putting out the fire surrounding him. Talon held her and whispered a few words. The fire died down, but the damage was still done. She went back to Kyoshi, Talon following her.
"Kyoshi? Wake up..." Gently shaking him, Talon stayed back, watching for anything else.
