 Pastel was fiddling with another wheel, having figured out by now that it wasn't really a wheel, but turned on a fire, when he smelled someone go to the cafeteria, MIU! He jumped down and skittered back through the door. Miu would know what to do, she was a fire type, so she would know what the fire that the wheel turned on was for. He bounded towards her, hopping from thing to thing to get to the top of a table to see where she was. Ah ha! He grabbed a large roll that was half as big as he was, and tried to throw it on his back. He succeeded, but also succeeded in throwing himself off the table and rolling across the floor, luckily, towards Miu.

Daybreak was never as glad as she was when she heard that progress was finally being made. In the form of finally finding the room that might tell them where the trainers were being held.
She was considerably happier than last night. A bounce in her step could be seen if someone was to look closely enough. She hoped that the static shocks she felt from the locked door would persuade others not to bash it open and screw everything up now.
What should she do? Daybreak peered into the bedroom, then the cafeteria. She was more hungry than tired, so she went in there, not minding the other Pokemon that were there already.

Bonzai watched as the evee jumped towards the ninetails. Bonzai the rattata was finishing his steak when he was startled by it. A sweat drop came down his head. He was glad the evee didn't jump on him. He grabbed a roll and then looked at the two pogeys. "Hello I'm Bonzai. Who are you guys. " He said holding the roll with a smile.

Miu both heard and smelled the Eevee before she even saw him. Chuckling, she watched the little fluff ball bound over the tables, then dashed forward when Pastel fell off the table. She quickly grabbed him mid-air by the scruff of his neck and set him gently back onto the ground. "Be careful, little one. We'll need to be in our best shape if we're to rescue our human companions...."
She then turned her attention to the rattata that was munching on a roll. "My name is Miu." She gave a soft smile to the rodent.

Pastel gave an embarrassed smile to the Ninetails, "Tanky, ah wus cumin tah see if ya knew about deh fire wheels in deh kitchen." His attention was grabbed by the other small Pokemon on the table, "Ello, ah'm Pastel. Nice tah meet yah."

"Fire.... wheels?" Miu gave the Eevee a puzzled look, quite unsure about how there could be a wheel of fire in a kitchen. "I really wouldn't know.... would you show me where these wheels are?"

Pastel nodded avidly, "Sure, Ah'll show yeh deh wheels. Ah dun know ow dey work." With that, he led his friend back into the kitchen to where the stoves were, he jumped on the several open drawers that he had used to make steps, and up onto the counter top. He went over and twisted a knob to turn on the fire on the stove top, "See? Fire Wheels, ah dun know what dey're for, dow. Ah was opin you'd know, bein a fire type an all." He smiled at the Ninetails, thinking that he had discovered something amazing.

Miu instantly recognized the stove. "Oh, these are the wheels?" Well, now didn't she feel silly, thinking that the wheels would be of fire. "That's a stove. Human's use it to cook things, normally in pots and pans...." She looked around, looking to see what appeared to be edible and filling; she was going to need her strength today.

Zyk woke up and flew out of the bedroom. He gave the room that smelled of death wide berth before going into the kitchen again to see what was there. He fluttered unwittingly on top of the stove, listening to the eevee and ninetails there.
"Hello," Zyk said, his high-pitched voice still sounding depressed. "I'm Zyk... What are you doing?" He missed Zinnia, but he was still curious. Zinnia wasn't allowed to use the stove, so Zyk was unsure of what he was standing on.

Pastel stared at the 'stove', even more fascinated than before. This was used to cook? He hadn't been in Lumin's house long, but he hadn't seen something quite like this... amazing.... He sniffed at the fire, wondering if it was a special kind. Maybe it was supposed to be some sort of heat thing, like the beepy box that Lumin put his food into. What a neat discovery. He pawed at the little fire, accidentally setting his fur on ablaze, "AAH! I'S OT!! ELP!!!" He hoped around, waving his paw, causing him to fall off the stove.

Zyk jumped a bit, startled by Pastel's sudden yell and fall. He wondered if the eevee was stupid, sticking his paw into the fire. Then he realized how hot his feet were getting and decided to stand on the counter instead.
Fluttering over to the cool tile, Zyk 'looked' down at the fallen eevee. "You okay?" he asked. Well, he couldn't be hurt too badly; Zyk had endured Flamethrower attacks before, so a quick poke into the fire probably wasn't too bad. Luckily for them, pokemon were amazingly tough.
".... What are you doing?" Zyk asked again, this time trying to hide his amusement.

 What was this about a new floor? Dakota's interest was once again easily refocused onto a new task of exploring. Her nose sniffed around a bit as she went up the stairs. When she got to the hallway, her nose could tell there was food here as well. She had only just eaten her apple, so her tummy was not rumbly. She would probably check out food later. For now, she went to investigate the room next to the staircase.
It would seem a couple other Pokemon found the bedroom before her and were now resting. Dakota, however, became fixated on an item usually found on a bed: Pillows! The black Growlithe trotted from bed to bed, trying to see if she could get a pillow that was close enough to the edge. She was a good girl, because she was not jumping up onto the beds. It wasn't allowed at home, so it shouldn't be allowed here. On the third bed, she managed to spy a small pillow that was nearly over the edge. Sitting up on her hind legs, she attempted to balance herself for long enough to nab onto the pillow with her teeth. However, she had never been taught to sit up (for obvious reasons), so instead of clamping onto the fluffy pillow, she managed to knock it to the floor as she also flopped onto the ground.
Shaking her head and letting out a puppy grunt, she pushed herself off the ground and looked around for her new toy. Oh, it was right next to her, like a good pillow should be! Picking it up with her teeth, she then trotted back out to the hallway, pillow in tow. When she made it to the hallway, she began to do something strange. She began to run up and down the hallway with the pillow, occasionally shaking her head from side to side, letting out playful growls every so often. It might not seem like something fun, but the puppy was not only having fun, but getting out some of the energy that had been building up during the journey.

Daybreak had been filling herself to some poffins that were in a basket on a table. She was about to leave the cafeteria and look for other things to do before she heard a shout in the kitchen.
"... What? What happened?" She couldn't quite believe what she was seeing. An Eevee on fire. That could mean one of three things. He was evolving into a Flareon, the Ninetales nearby had set him on fire, or something else did.
Still, the scene was funny. She couldn't help but smile a bit.

Miu sweatdroped as the Eevee fell off of the stove, then got up onto her hind legs and turned the flame off. "I don't think playing with fire would be wise for you, Pastel...."
She then turned and nodded her head to Zyk. "It's nice to meet you.... you smell a bit like a friend of mine; perhaps you have the same trainer...?"

"I don't know," Zyk said. "My trainer only has one other pokemon besides me... Is it a black mew called Shadow Mew that you're talking about?" Zyk would be surprised if that were the case; the mew didn't seem the type to make many friends. "Perhaps you are mistaken."
Zyk didn't want to talk about his trainer. He was still worried about Zinnia. He blocked out the horrible images he had thought up earlier before he had a chance to panic again. "Should we put the eevee out?" Zyk asked after a pause.
