Tyson returned, his leg muscles feeling tight in his calves from having little rest the entire night, and he already figured that the sun would be rising in a couple hours. Nessa was asleep, but he wondered if she had truly been resting the entire time. The your Rohirin had no clue how long he had been gone, and what had dragged him so far out into the woods. He shook his head, sitting by the pile of ash that WAS a fire. He picked up a stick and stired around the ashes, discovering a pile of embers that clowed red in the darkness. He placed a few logs onto the pile and soon the fire was blazing again. Tyson sighed, falling back onto the ground and soon asleep.

Jade turned towards the grunt that the man Elrotheil had introduced as Van was laying. She let out a quit sigh of relief, she didnt want to show it, but she had started to worry that it didnt work and he had in fact died.

"Van!" Elrothiel said, scrambling towards him. "How are you feeling? And what happened? Where have you been?" She calmed herself with a visible effort and restrained herself from asking so many questions, trying to wait patiently for him to speak in his own time. Patience had never been one of her virtues and she waited impatiently.

Van coughed to try and clear his throat but couldnt. 'Wolves, alot of wolves.' he said. His accent had started to come out, which it did often when he was in an intense fight or in a condition similiar to how he was at the moment. 'I, cant move...' he said a little flatly. It felt strange to not hurt but be inable to move.

Black Owltalon Come on, come on!" She urged her horse. She finnally got fed up with the mustange and hoped off. Amara then dashed into flight, covering more ground. She passed a little farm, then another. Then the population started growing, and houses and buildings soon replaced all the farms and huts. She had no idea what city this was, but she went straite to the battlements, hoping to find someone in charge. With a bit of luck, she found a 'leader' and got about 2 score of men armed to help Ranu. Struggling to keep up, and feeling blood pumping from his injured legs, Ranu stumbled. As he fell, he heard deep laughter. Looking back, Ranu saw two Uruks, thinner than the others. Clearly meant as scouts. Struggling to stand, Ranu grunted as one put his foot on his chest, and pushed down hard. "Well well well", one said, "What have we got here?" the other concluded. Ranu struggled, and was rewarded by two kicks. his vision blurred a moment, as old wounds were hit. His lip was pierced by his tooth as he struggled to fight of a yelp. "Yum." The first Uruk said, grinning evilly and showing the dark stains on his teeth, "Blood," The other concluded, in a similar facial expression.

She leaned against a boulder at the side of the path, breathing hard. It was a month since she'd left home, if she had been keeping track of the time correctly. She wasn't sure anymore, not that it mattered. That part of her life was over. She was starting new.
"If I ever see him again, I will kill him," she muttered, taking her water skin out of her pack. It was a pity she'd only managed to slice one of his cheeks with her dagger. If she'd only been a little faster, it would have been his throat. If she was lucky, she'd never have to deal with that scum again. She planned to settle in Gondor and Brego had no reason to venture there. That's why she'd chosen it. No one in the family had any reason to venture there.

The first Uruk said, grinning evilly and showing the dark stains on his teeth, "Blood," The other concluded, in a similar facial expression. The first Uruk took out a knife, intent on starting his first good meal since Isengard. Before he could cut off a Ranu-fillet, an arrow pierced his skull in a manor that sent his corpse flying against the other Uruk. By the time the living Uruk had shoved it to the ground, 2 arrows had hit him, one in the left upper-arm, another in the chest. He fell to his knees, still living. A being clad in a green, hooded cloak and brown, leather armour came up to him and swung a sword, cleaving off the head. He then turn to Ranu, and ofered a hand to get up.

Grasping the hand, Ranu got to his feet, "Bleh. Thanks" he said, reaching down to pick up his bloodstained sword, and wiped it on an orc's clothing. "A few more seconds, and I'd have been a meal." He glanced down at himself, frowning at the sight of ribs. When had he last eaten? "A small meal." he decided outloud, returning his sword to her scabbard, "Anyway. My Names Ranu, and I owe you my thanks."

He reaches to his back, and pulls out a sack. From that, he takes out some salted pork and a small, leather canteen of water, giving them to Ranu. "Then you can absolve you owe by paying me in answers. I have never seen an Orc with such clean skin and such muscle build up in Ithilien. Mind telling me what the deal is with them? And what tidings are of this land? I have had no news since I came from Gondor."

"My thanks again," Ranu said, looking at the food hungerily, but taking little. If he ate heartily now, his pains would worsen when next robbed. When he reached Minas Tirith, he planned to eat like a pig, so he could fight well.
He eyed the orcs with a frown, "I've seem them a few times, up north. They call themselves Uruk Hai. I don't know what evil twisted them to let them walk in the light, but I do know some guy called..." he paued, biting some pork, "Sauruman controls them." He glanced around a moment, then frowned.

"Yeah. They only spred thus far in the last few months..." he looked at the dead Uruks thoughtfully, "They strike me as more soldierly, than the orcs." He shook his head, then glanced south east. "I'm going to the white city. I had hoped to see my friends again before I did, but alas."
[I think this is during the battle at Helms Deep, but I'm uncertain.]

AmaraDirected the warriors to Ranus area then Flew Off. I'm not too late...I'm not too late...I'm not too late...I'm not too late... She kept thinking. He can't be dead...He couldn't have been...He can't be dead...He couldn't have been...He can't be dead...He couldn't have been...He can't be dead...He couldn't have been... She flew to the rythm of the words. She finnally noticed 4 figures in the distance. @ large ones were laying limp on the ground, the other 2 where talking. She flew slowwer when she made out ranu. Now she was circleing them.

Tyson awoke, though it felt as if he had only slept a matter of minuted. He stretched his arms and legs, yawning obnoxiously before getting to his feet, facing the fire that had managed to die again. He looked over to Nessa. At least she had gotten a good night's sleep. He walked over to her, tapping his boot against her side. "Ness. Get up," he said with some force.
Nessa's eyes flicked open, fluttering a few times. "Wha-?" she asked, yawning before ending the word. She, too, stretched then rubbed the back of her head as she sat up from the ground. " 'Tis morning already?" she asked.
"Not yet, but dawn strikes in minutes. We should get going," Tyson explained, pulling his saddle blanket from the ground and placing it onto his horse's back. The horse whinnied in greeting and Tyson patted his steed on the neck in reply.
Nessa got up from the ground, her legs feeling loose and unsecure from the long night of sleep. She clicked her tounge and her horse came to her so that she could put his saddle and blanket back on. The horse nudged her and she grabbed her saddle bag, pulling her waterskin from it. "Alright... alright... Let's get going." She mounted, though it was not as graceful since she was still lightly taken from sleep. Tyson followed suit and lead the way. Another day's ride was ahead and they both hoped it would go undisturbed.

((Ok, I'm going to distance-skip because I'm bored of nobody talking to me!))
Elrothiel awoke just before dawn. She started guiltily. She hadn't realised she'd fallen asleep. Anything could have happened. She was mentally scolding herself when she heard hoof-beats again. Certain that it was the same riders that she had heard the day before, she immediately sat upright and with a swift glance at Van, followed the sounds of the horses. She was curious and she wasn't prepared to take chances in case they were scouts.
She ran swiftly, easily navigating the almost hidden animal trails and despite their head start, she could soon make out the figures. She stood stunned for a second, mouth open in astonishment. Then she closed it with a grin. Well, if it wasn't thr grumpy man and his friend. She choked back laughter. Imagining that he wouldn't like the idea of being spied upon, her grin widened as she called "Hail Riders of the Riddermark!" before emerging out of the trees behind them.
