Holly smiled and whiped the tears from her face. She pushed the Disease down within her so as to not let it show and she wrapped her arsma round Rei's neck. She hugged him tightly, afraid to say anything for fear she'd only come out as a sob. Tears left over from the bad dream and new ones from happiness streamed silently down her face.
Drake nodded quietly and left the room, taking Lili's hand and whispering, "If we don't leave now, we'll never get away."
Ivy smiled at the return of the "big palooka" and returned to the kitchen to finish preparing the meal. She didn't care if no one ate it, it just made her feel better to cook. Got her mind off of things like the strange relationship she thought she had been creating with Manji, but had now seemed to cool off before it had even really started.
Cliff took a moment to step away from his medical findings and stood in the doorway of the barracks. He smiled and said, "Good to see an old friend return. She was a mess without you."
Hannah ran up a flight of stairs and into a large open space with dirt and cardboard box fragments everywhere. She put her little fists on her hips and said, "How boring." She went up another level and found a hallway with multiple doorways. "Yay! The real adventuer begins!" She opened the first door slowly, her hand on her katana hilt.

Rei lifted holly into his arms and kissed her cheek softly. "I guess you missed me." He said with a light hearted chuckle. He turned to cliff and nodded. "I thought so... that's why I hurried back." He smiled and then looked to cliff with a serious look on his face. "I need to talk to you alone later to cliff." He said before he looked at everyone else, all the unfamiliar faces. "So, Who's the kids?"

Richard managed a small sigh and decided to leave the old friends alone. He looked around as everyone else had their own things to do. Then he leaned his head on his hands, something was bothering him but he didn't know what. Was it the fact that he was getting side-tracked? No, he just didn't have information. Nevertheless, he was getting bored with himself and his attitude. He had been alone for a while and the change was sudden. However it was by his will and his will alone. He knew the consequences and accepted them. He sat in the corner by the kitchen door and went back to working on his Holster and weapon attachment.

Manji let out a low growl, something about the number of people around was keeping him from letting go and falling asleep so he quickly jumped up out of his cot with the intention of seeking a matress somewhere in the apartment building. The seccond he got into the hallway the smell of food reached him. Manji placed a hand on his stomach realising it had been a while since he had eaten and his shapeshifting created massive caloric requirements. Manji made his way into the kitchens hoping to sneak a plate of food whilst everyone was distracted. Inside the kitchen he saw it was Ivy cooking humming one of her strange little songs he stood in the doorway for a moment unsure what to say.

Holly sat on his lap and smiled, her mood lightened quite a bit from the terrible dream only moments ago. She laughed and said, "This is only half of the little things. There are a few more girls, but I don't know where they ran off to. They're close friends of Alex and Amelia from the labs."
Cliff nodded to Rei and moved out of the room, returning to the comptuer room and his special medical computer. He would busy himself with figuring out Holly's new ability while he waited for Rei's seemingly serious conversation he wanted to have.
Ivy stirred the sause she was making, got a clean spoon and tasted it. She shook her head, put the spoon in the sink and startde to look for something. She turned around to see if there were any unopened boxes yet and was startled to see Manji in the doorway staring at her. She laughed as she lightly touched her chest for a moment, "Oh, you startled me." She whiped her hands on the towel she had lopped through her belt and smiled at him, "You hungry?"

"Sorry about that, I'm really hungry actually I was kinda hoping to swipe a plate while nobody was looking" he said with a little smile.

"Well, we don't have to tell anyone." Ivy smiled as she found a little jar and smiled triumphantly at it. "It'll be done it ten seconds." She dashed some of the black power-like substance in the sauce, stirred it for a moment, smelled it and mentally declared it done. She found a plate and a fork then dished him out a nice serving of noodles then poured just the right amount of sauce on top. She handed it to him and said, "Sorry, I don't think we have any cheese otherwise I'd give you some. Maybe, since we do have a small working refridgerator, we should make a run to the store sometime...That'd be one interesting mission on it's own." She laughed the images.

Richard tested out the newly lashed holster and it worked quite well. There was only two things left for the attachment. A small crystal and one of those CD scanning lasers you find in a computer or CD/DVD player. He couldn't use a computer nor was there an available DVD or CD player. In any case, he was restless and entered the kitchen for a cup of water. He gave a nod to both Ivy and Manji before checking the faucet to make sure the plumbing worked.

Rei smiled. "So, aside from the new kids and the move, what's happened since i left?" He said, smiling as he could sense holly's happiness. He didn't need any mental powers to see it, she almost seemed as if she was glowing.

Alekssander motioned with his arms. "Well, not much, y'know. I've been trying to dig up some info on the labs with the new computers we have, but no luck so far."
Amelia saw Ivy cooking and approached her. "Um, excuse me Ivy. I was wondering, did you make enough so that we can all sit down together and have a nice meal? I think that would be important."
Mikalya stared in awe at the number of doors ahead of them in the darkened hallway, with a sweeping look at her surroundings, she grasped the handle of the door oppposite Hanna and opened it.
Rachael, however, followed Hannah. This place was dark and dusty and dirty and creepy. She didn't like it and she didn't want to be caught by herself.

Lili looked to Drake, a somber look in her eyes. "I guess...it looks like your sister is going to be fine." What was this? Lili wanted to spend time with Drake, but it was like he was putting her in front of his own sister. Wasn't that wrong? Should his sister come first? Lili sighed. Thinking about all of this just made her feel guilty about spending time with Drake. She wanted to, but he had someone to look after, as opposed to Lili, who had no one.

"Thats fine I survived off of lab solitary internment rations for months this is fantastic" he said with a smile wrapping some noodles around his fork and taking a bite. "So... I was just thinking about going for a walk if you felt like joining me" he offered as he continued to eat.

Ivy looked from Amelia to Manji. "Well, yeah, there's plenty for us all, but...I think part of us have already wandered off again." She studied Manji for a long moment and then sighed, "Can we go for a walk after the group dinner?" She secretly just wanted to walk away from the building and walk with Manji, listening to whatever he wanted to say or didn't want to say.
Holly shrugged, "We almost got caught by the labs again and I'm pretty sure Drake and Lili have a thing for eachother." She smiled weakly then, her mind trailing back to those thoughts of slight jealousy and then to her nightmare. She didn't relaise it, but she was glaring at the floor intently as she tought.
Hannah found a small one room apartment. The living room area, where she was now, was empty besides a dirty and ancient newspaper. She went to it and looked at it, reading quickly, despite her age, the headline, "Scientists Advancing in Human Research"
Drake looked at Lili as he read her thoughts. He stopped and said, "I guess you're right, huh?" He sighed heavily and ran his hand through his hair. "Rei can take care of her. Plus, it's not like she's going to pay much attention to me when he's in the room." His voice betrayed a hint of rensentment.
