Kikyo walked next to the samarai leader. "May you please tell more of what aile your village? I have only heard little of the disease and need to make sure that the medicine I have will help. If it is not right, then I need to ather herbs to make new medicine to heal your sick."

Kikyo thought for a moment and then pointed her hand out in a direction. Some of her sole collectors went in the direction she pointd to. "Worry not, they are going to get what I need to make the medicine and to help me clean and purify where the source of this comes from. Your village will be healed and in good shape in no time."

"It's highly contagious, and almost always fatal!" Jack informed them. "The bubonic plague wiped out half of Europe! And it's spread by rats and their fleas! I don't want to go anywhere near that village or it's people!"
"It's pretty much unheard of now a days, though," Kimiko began, looking almost as nervous as Jack. "'Cause of the higher hygiene standards."

"Villages here are poor and rarely have the luguraries you are used to. I am used to these conditions because I have been in contact with much of the diseases claimed fatal. If you are worried, by all means stay here where you will not get the illness. I will do what I can to help though."

"Oneii?" Kimiko questioned. "What, have you got all these people brainwashed, or something!?"

Kikyo smiled in a sisterly manner to Jack and Nina. "Thank you little brother and sister. I will be fine. As Ranma said last night, I am but a undead clay doll who lives off of the soles of wandering dead. I cannot catch the disease even if I tied. I will be fine. You two just keep an eye on the group and make sure they stay out of touble and do not fight while I am away, ok?" Her sole collectors came back with the herbs she sent them to get.

Kikyo turned to Nina. "Little sister, I take back what I said. You are not both in charge of making sure there is some peace in the group; you are in charge of keeping peace. It is clear that Jack is not able to do that with his friend around. Do you think you can do that for me while I'm gone?"
