Kikyo gathered herself together, she knew Chase was wanting that reaction. "I am sorry. You must think terribly for having to live off of the dead. But just to clearify things, it is only the soles of those who are unable to pass to the next world and will be forced to stay here. The rest I purify and release back. But I'm sure that does not change the image any more than me yelling at Chase for teling you all that."

Kimiko looked at Nina with a mix of pity and disgust. "Y'know, you're really kinda pretty, and you seem really sweet. You could do so much better than Jack." she began, trying to sound sisterly.
"Just because you never liked mean doesn't mean other girls won't!" Jack snapped.
"Only if they have self-esteem problems..."
