bleu_flame Regulustheheroic bleu_flame Welcome back Jupiter. That reminds me, has anyone heard of those two galaxies that collided today? No.http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/hubble/science/hst_img_20080424.html Well they don't exactly collide in one day. It takes hundreds of millions of years. Still really cool stuff, though.

Jupiter-X well at least someone here remembers me... mad D I remember you! You might not remember me though, cause this is my third account and as many name changes >< I love how you still have the exact same signature, not that it's bad or anything, I actually like the LoZ reference.

I'm just guessing, but if they're light years away, doesn't that mean that they collided a long time ago, it's just that NOW is the time that we finally see it?

Well, they just got images from it today from the Hubble.

Syph Medwes I'm just guessing, but if they're light years away, doesn't that mean that they collided a long time ago, it's just that NOW is the time that we finally see it? Yea, that's true however, it's possible that they're still colliding today. It takes a real long time.

Hubble took images so doesn't that mean they collided last month?
