Katherine looked up to him was he being serious. They trap him. "That would be great Black but the last fights they have been in Matachi almost always dies. Maybe if there was a second fighter, it would work then but there are to many flaws. Not to mention he has help now. He could easily turn you aginst me there and then."

"Katherine, the answer lies within what Alastor can do to me. Honestly, how can I fight you with just one arm?" Black asked her, pointing to the bandaged part on his left. "I can't even attack you in the first place. My power can't even reach you." He told her, hoping to the Gods that she still knew all of this. "Then again, we could always use Sarah to keep my emotions in check. She wouldn't be involved directly, except to make sure I don't do or say anything stupid."
Speaking of the devil, Alastor walked up behind Asami. "I don't think your mother is very happy with you." He said with a slight grin. "Don't blame me, you listened to those idiots and what did it get you?"

Asami looked up and then back at the sea, "I didn't listen to anyone, but the gods." She held her knees as they bent upwards. Asami continued, "I don't think what I did was wrong or right. It doesn't matter to me right now. Mother had misunderstood me, so I won't try to explain myself. I'll just go and finish my own business before I return home."

The servants accepted all the help the teen offered. Everything from cleaning the hallways to assisting the cooks in preparing meals. Most of what she heard was common knowledge, but eventually, she felt she would get what she sought. Sarah was even invited to eat with them. The meal was nothing special, just leftovers and parts of ruin dishes. She showed how to make them a bit more appatizing despite everything.

"Didn't listen to anyone but the Gods, eh? What do you call what Matachi said? What about Sekain? Especially Sekain. The fact he already goes behind your back is something else. He isn't doing this for his family, he's doing it for himself." Alastor spoke coldly to her. "All these bastards want a higher position in Solemn and I'll be damned if any of them are going to get it under my watch."

Just as Alastor sat talking about Sekain the thought poped in her mind. "Sekain...If he agrees. He is our second fighter. Matachi and Sekain both attacking him and i believe the job would be done." She sipped more of the wine. "but in a forest don't forget he had Asami's help but with Sekain we could around that. I don't think i could fight her."

Asami chuckled and said, "I love Sekain, I do, but don't you think I already know that? I want him to live on too, maybe that's why. Until everyone's ready to move on to the next life, that's when it'll happen, if you asked me, it doesn't matter if they died now or later, everything will repeat, will they not?" She turned to Alastor and said, "I had to distract Sekain from coming in to help Matachi when you were fighting him, that's why I warped both of us into the god's realm at that time. Don't think that I only did it because I thought he was more important than the mission. I wanted to talk with him, and I knew talking to him would keep him from joining your fight with Matachi." She leaned back more and used her hands to support her, "What ever Matachi said about his family, I didn't care." A small smile crossed her lips and she said, "I like it like this."

"You're wasting your time on Sekain. You forget who he only cares about. Do you think if he really loved you that he would choose a side opposite from you?" Alastor asked, watching her carefully. "You trust way too quickly, it's what got the boy hurt yesterday." He pointed out. While Black wouldn't blame it on her, Alastor certainly would. "Pick a side and stay on it. If you aren't going to help me, then you might as well be against me."

Asami suddenly laid onto the sand and rested her eyes, "Alastor, I loved him when he was still on the opposite side of me. What does it matter now, he'll always choose the other side." She opened her eyes and said, "Did you know, I saw the blind god the other day, the creator of all creators?" Asami stared straight into the sky and said, "There is no side in this. I'm not against you, don't jump into conclusions now." Her eyes shifted onto his and she asked, "Alastor, tell me, what did I do wrong? Why are you questioning me?"

Sekain had spent the last day or so in Flowing Rivers with Aldon, he knew that he couldn't show himself to the troops and Ruben or Nikura, but he made his way back to the castle, thinking about what Asami had spoken to him about, how much she had changed, how different she felt. A saddened presence fell about him as he entered the castle in the capital.

"What are you doing wrong? Get your a** back up there and keep the Goddess happy. We can't keep wasting time like this. You need me, I need you and I need you to stop moping around. Lets get going." He told her, tapping his foot impatiently.
"Eh... I'm still not adamant on using Sekain. I despise the fact that the Gods are sending down souls that have reached their planes to do their business for them. Besides, I'm sure Asami would be able to distract him anyway." Black told her his very honest opinion.

One of the female servants came running back. At first Sarah thought that the girl was afraid of missing the meal, that is, until she started speaking of an odd conversation the Queen and her Advisor were having. She was able to get a few little details out before she was quickly hushed. "We don't speak ill of our Queen! Rumors are best left to wives with nothing to do and old women." Everyone went back to either eating or cleaning up. Sarah, having finished eating, helped clean up and got ready to help finish cleaning the rest of the castle.
'I'll have to try and talk to her more later....'
