of course the Katana fleet was modified. It was the first wholy slaved fleet. each ship's computer was slaved to the leader and much of the systems were heavily modifie so the ships woulnt be so crew dependant. when they vanished, the idea behind slaving ships together and heavily automated ships went right out the window, leading to the ridiculous crew complements aboard Star Destroyers.

Vong Hunter Killer Droids this is something interesting, is it the New Republic's own version of Droidekas? And Spacetroopers are a new variant I never heard of until re-reading the Thrawn books, damn even after the fleet pulled out 6 of the 8 were hunted down and killed and 2 others crippled a Corellian Corvete xp

But they were sure effective.

I kind of like Spacetroopers more, why need TIE Fighters in some cases just launch a squad of space troopers and they'ld wreck some of the enemy fleet in moments.

Because TIEs are cheap as dirt.
Trianing a spacetrooper, buying armor/repulsorpack, maintenance, paying the trooper, etc.

Or rather you mean the Empire was in general. But some people did not mind putting money aside to develop new weapons or super weapons or build new Super Star Destroyers every now and then. xp

The money system in SW is very ******** up.
20,000 bounty on Solo, a so called public enemy.
And a TIE costs 30K. and in KOTOR a good assault firfle costs 1K.
So, thats like sayign that I could trade 30 AK-47s for a fighter jet?

Keep in mind different points of time, would mean different equivalents like in today for example $1 not worth as much as it would've been say 10 years or so back.

Yeah but if technology has not significantly grown in 25,000 years I doubt that inflation will rise like that in like 10 years.

FrozenPhoenix32 Yeah but if technology has not significantly grown in 25,000 years I doubt that inflation will rise like that in like 10 years. In 25,000 years you're denying ANY chance of inflation effecting prices. Considering all the various wars/conflicts. I'ld say there could very well be a chance.

in 25K years, yes.
Not in 10.
Either way it's a mess up in continuity, thats all.
