Ryugi soon recieved his cool, tasty treat and followed Nedy over to one of the white tables. He sat down and took a few test licks of his cone, then wiped his mouth on a napkin and spoke.
Well, you asked what brought me to Leviathan eh? Well, before I was a fighter here, I was a mercenary. I traveled all over the place looking for someone willing to pay for a good hired hand. I didn't really have a direction in my life. One day, I came through here and saw Leviathan Stadium for the first time. I'd heard that many strong fighters resided in this place, and decided to see for myself. As time went by, I fought more and improved my skills. I still try to improve my skills, but the thing that drew me to Leviathan Stadium was the legend behind it. And at that time in my life I thought that making my own legend would be pretty awesome.
He smiled after he finished talking and then ate more of his ice cream.

She was very careful to cross her legs once they had sat down, even if she was wearing stockings that covered her scars, and leaned one elbow on the table and her chin in her hand. The other arm rested in her lap. Listening carefully, Nedy winced when he mentioned what he had been but recovered quickly, hoping he had not noticed, taking a sip of her water before commenting on what he had said.
"Legens give you a bit of a false image though. I came there before it became famous, and although it was big it was not any different from what it had been when it started."

Yeah. I realize now a legend isn't anything big. But back then I had alot of silly things in my head. Like Vargus. Thats my girlfriend. We met when we were kids nearly 1500 years ago. I know I look young for my age. Anyways, I had thought she had died in my arms long ago, but I could never find it in my heart to move on. All throughout my life I could never kiss another woman without thinking of how sad it would make her, and therefore, I didn't. I got pretty close to some people, but never involved like that. Then came the happiest day of my life... While traveling and fighting with Maximos, we accidentally landed on my home continent of Angara. While I was there I looked around the place until I ran into someone who looked very very familiar. It was Vargus... She'd lived afterall, and all those years she had hoped I would come back and finally be with her again. Needless to say, when I returned from that place, she came with me, us vowing never to leave eachothers side again. She's at home in the appartment right now, and she told me to get out of the house for a bit, so I went for a walk, and thats how I met you.
As was Ryugi's style, he always had the habit of telling alot about himself the first time he met people. Some found it annoying, while others found it facinating, it didn't matter though, to Ryugi. He just enjoyed talking to people and getting to know them better. After he finished again, he cleaned up some of the melting ice cream as he let the story sink in.

"That's a very sweet story, Mr. Kazamaru," Nedy said after swallowing the last water in her glass and waited for the sole ice cube to melt. And the story was indeed sweet; love keeping through fifteen decades. And somehow, she did not really believe it, but she kept quiet about that, there was no need to call him a liar when the only reason she had not to believe the tale were her own experiences. "I'm glad you found your girlfriend in the end."
She did not mind how he told his life's story; she was naturally curious as to other people, and when they told her about themselves to willingly she was not going to turn down the offer. But she was also getting tired; the headache was getting worse and she knew she needed to get back home to her flat soon.
"I'm not feeling very well - must be the heat - so I think I have to get back home now, if you don't mind."
She rose as she spoke, placed the tote on the chair she had occupied just a few seconds previous.

Ryugi stood up as well, he'd finished his cone now anyways being the fast eater that he was. He pushed in his chair, smiled, then spoke.
Well, if you say you aren't feeling well, I can understand. But at least allow me to walk you home to make sure you arrive without incident. I wouldn't want my new friend getting hurt from a fall or by heat stroke.
There was genuine concern and caring in Ryugi's voice. He hated seeing anyone hurt or in pain, or suffering. And that esspecially applied to women. He just hoped that she trusted him enough to allow him to help her.

She was in two minds about letting him walk her home, but common sense won over pride and she nodded, picking up the tote and craddling it in two arms, her handbag dangling from her shoulder.
"That would be nice, thank you. I live in Barton."
While speaking she began walking in the direction of the door, looking over her shoulder to see if he followed. His new friend, was she? Well, that was nice...

He smiled at her approval. To be honest he didn't think she was going to accept. But he was happy that she did. He left a tip for the waitress and then followed Nedy out the door. It was a good thing Barton wasn't too long of a walk.
Its a good thing Barton isn't too far of a walk. Despite the heat, its a beautiful day outside. Clear blue sky, pleasant breeze, the clear air. Its a lovely day don't you think?
Ryugi followed off to Nedy's right side, being careful to make sure she didn't have any problems as the pair walked.

themightyjello "I'm the man you've been looking for, didn't I just tell you?" the black-clad man replied with a laugh; reaching up with one hand to pull the goggles and riding helmet from his head, and throwing them down into a basket on the side of the back of the vehicle. As soon as it was done, his hand came back up again and swiped through his matted-down hair; while grinning just as absurdly as he had when he had showed up out of the blue. "I'm a peddler of smiles, a merchant of happiness, a genie in a bottle, and everything that you desire..." the man began again; tipping his head to the side slightly as he rambled off more or less the same thing over and over again... "My name is James Black, and I grant wishes." Before it had only been something about the way the person held themself that caused Sam's heart to stop and her eyes to bulge but she was more then close enough to hear what his name was and her hand on Tellus' shoulder gripped tightly to where the petite woman winced and staggered slightly. The vixen cocked her head and listened closer... "James Black...." Mulling the name over in her memory for a moment "He grants wishes...Maybe I should thank him..." chuckling at her own private joke. She slowly pried the woman's hand away from her shoulder and patted it reassuringly. "If it is indeed him, maybe you should try...I dunno...talking to him." The bright blush upon the woman's face however as she turned around shocked Tellus. Never before had she seen the prim, composed Miss Browning in the state of shock she appeared to be in right now. "Miss Browning... Samantha.." Her voice getting louder for a moment till she realized that she could be easily overheard in the lightly populated area and she wasn't quite ready to face her father yet. Glancing back once more at the strangely dressed man and her father, she began to gently guide Miss Browning away, though for a moment or two, passing closer by the two men to be able to get to a local pub. Samantha looked like she could use a drink...

Tellus glanced once more back at her father, but getting her assistant to steady ground seemed the more important thing at the moment, she could always go looking for him later. "Alright , Miss Browning..." Slowly letting the woman into a booth before sitting on the other side of her but still holding her hand reassuringly. "Why is it such a shock to see him? I mean, it's Gaia...the dead like to come back to life here." She laughed, the sound slightly bitter to the ears but covered it quickly with a smile.
Samantha nodded slowly but her hand still visibly shook. "Yeah, I know that..but you need to remember I don't come from Gaia. I'm still relatively new here. I've been here...maybe two years" Talking seemed to calm the young woman and Tellus got her first glance at the woman who was her personal assistant as she removed her glasses and set the thick coke bottle rims down on the table while waving the barkeep over to give them a pint of good beer.
"Wow..."
The redhead looked up at the Leviathan woman, her brow furrowed in puzzlement for a moment before she realized she had taken off her glasses and she quickly placed them back on again, but Tellus stopped her. "Is there any reason you hide behind those glasses?"
The redhead shook her head, not really wanting to answer. Tellus let it slide but it still disturbed her. Releasing Smaantha's hand, she watched the vivid eyes cover themselves once more wtih the foggy glass and sighed softly. So many people, hide so many things...then again, who am I to talk...I have Tersiel, yet I haven't even told Papa...The blue hair fell in front of her face before she herself looked the redhead in eyes.
"So, tell me about him..."
The pale skinned woman nodded, realizing that Tellus was trying to get her to focus on aspects other then the fact that the man seemed to have just appeared out of thin air.
"When I worked for Gambino, shortly before working for you, I was told to make it appear that I was spying on him so that he wouldn't realize I was merely a decoy. Right before the disaster, he told me that he would take me to dinner if I got some work done. Work that I did easily, but more to prove to him that I could then it the reward...I didn't actually expect him to keep it." The prim young woman actually lookd shock at just the memory of a simply kindness.
"I ended up taking him to my favorite place. But I ran off...I saw him on the boat out. And the next day he dropped papers off but I figured he went to the party that turned out so disasterly" She leaned forward then, her hand srubbing at the back of her neck as if to soothe herself. "I'm not even sure what it is that is so fascinating about him. He can be somewhat crude...he's not even really cultured. There's just this..." She waved her hand about trying to find the right word she was looking for. '...Something... He's not even really charming....it just comes off that way. "
Tellus grinned then. "So you mean like Tersiel?" Samantha brow furrowed again as Tellus sat back in shock and blushed. "Tersiel? What happened to Andrew?" Tellus' hand then reached back and rubbed at her neck. "Well, you see..." Their beers arrived then and both of the women began drinking so as to not have anything else to say for the moment. Letting the uneasy silence settle.

"Your wish is my command," was the reply that the Leviathan recieved as Mr. Black stepped off of the bike; propping it upright with the stand before he reached across to the left breast of his jacket with his right hand and pulled forth a folded stack of papers.
"Just sign on the dotted line and everything is taken care of," he said, twisting his wrist around and flipping the papers over themselves in his hand to unfold them and hold them out to the Leviathan. "A crew is already assembled and ready to start bringing in equipment. As soon as all this messy paperwork is over with."
The man smiled, just as bizzarely as he had upon arrival.
"We trust that you will be able to pay the fee for this service, however?"

*Enki looks down at the papers. He isn't stupid, he's been around for quite a while. He looks at the papers and reads through them, making sure not to skip past fine print*

(( More or less straightforward. A construction crew will be supplied in exchange for due payment. Plans for the new stadium should be provided to them so that they can be built, and said plans will be drafted if none exist so far, and on-site modifications if needed due to difficulties in construction/material aquisition/so on... yadda yadda... standardized construction bill.
Payment is marked as 'to be negotiated', as in, not in the contract. That's just for the construction crew, machines, manpower, supplies, all that... Nothing at all out of the ordinary.
Emphasis here should be more on negotiating payment than the contractual mumbo-jumbo. ^-^ ))
