Veroen began to shut himself down, in attempt to keep himself in check. A huge blow had been dealt, and he could not be here. Not now.
"I'll explain later. Quickly, we must go."
Veroen then let Marcus lead him out of the bar.
However, he heard Edith's voice behind them, which ruined the whole last minute plan he had.
'F*CK!' the words rang in his mind, which were only answered by a chuckle from the void.
Veroen did the only thing he could do at that point, quickly losing control.
Shadow engulfed his figure, and he disappeared entirely.

The dark, hooded, belted figure returned from Haven, and walked into the bar. The hood turned, looking from person to person. His gaze stopped upon Kerrigan. The figure moved over to the bar, and sat on a stool. Hunter looked at the figure for a moment, and went about making a Bacardi and Coke. The figure took the drink after it was made, and laid out a ten on the table. He turned, holding the drink in his hand, and leaned against the bar.
The sound of sniffing came from the figure's direction, and two voices sounded together in a pensive sigh. The figure lifted his left hand to the cowl under his hood, pulled it down, sipped from the glass, and replaced the cowl. He then produced a pack of Camel Crush. The figure untied the cowl, and let it fall under his hood. He pulled a cigarette from the pack, placed it in his mouth, and put the pack away. He covered the cigarette from view, and lit the cigarette.
Those attentively watching him would notice no lighter being put away. Especially vigilant hunters would notice tattoos covering the right side of his face, and a glow creeping out from under the bottom of his red mirrored sunglasses.

Meredith had been quick but not quick enough to prevent Veroen from escaping to where ever it was he chose to manifest next. She growled defiantly as she followed Marcus into the city, absolutely distressed and completely worn out from running here and there without any down time whatsoever.

((WOW! Camel Crush were my favorites before I stopped smoking xD))
Marcus sighed as he watch Edith rush past him and the vampire vanish in a plume of smoke. Shaking his head, Marcus threw his hands in the air and began his walk back to the bar. It was clear something weird was going on and Marcus was a simple human who didn't have all the cool powers the others had. Sighing, he watched in silence as his leader rush into the crowd to find her lover.
Once inside the bar, Marcus noticed a newcomer and raised a brow as his gaze fell on the other two hunters and the quiet bartender. Something was up, for Hunter seemed more tense than usual and a bit more quieter than ever. Who was this guy?
Chuckling out loud, Marcus threw his hands in the air and stole a seat between the hooded man and Kerrigan. "Boy, you vampires are sure all about the dramatics, you know that?" The man mused as he glanced over to the hooded figure for a brief moment. Marcus felt something was off about this one, but seeing how Hunter didn't have his gun out and Kerri and Noelle weren't freaking out, he must of been another Hunter.
"Er...Howdy. Name's Raven. What's yours?" Marcus shouted to the man, turning his attention to him with his mischievous smirk on his face. Beneath the bar and under his coat though, Marcus fingered the grip of his automatic rifle. There was indeed something eerie about this one and the Hunter wanted to be prepared.

Kerrigan turned in her stool as Marcus covered Veroen's eyes, Mrridith appeared to stop them, Veroen disappeared anyways, Meridith disappeared after him, and Sethe made an appearance once more. People's faces were appearing and disappearing so quickly, it might have made her head spin if she wasn't rather used to it. However, it was the presence of Krii that put her the most at edge. She felt his eyes linger on her before he moved to the bar, lighting a cigarette like she always remembered him, the raven haired huntress seeming to do her best to keep from looking at him. However, as the smoke from his cigarette wafted over to her, she turned to face him in her bar stool, tossing her hair over her shoulder as she just looked him over for a moment. It almost appeared like she was contemplating whether to to kiss him, or punch him. Instead of going either way, she turned her attention from him once more, looking at the wooden floor of the bar again. She was glad that Raven sat between them, stopping her from having to say something to him. Instead, she figured she would just introduce Krii instead. Knowing Raven, he would fill in the gaps.
"That's Sethe, but he goes by Krii'Ouse. Actually, I think he is going by Krii'Esou now," she said simply, eyes landing on Sethe once more as she said his name. There seemed to be no emotion there, almost as if she was staring at a stranger. It was better than the looks she was accustomed to giving him towards the end of their relationship - there were a lot of glares and narrowed eyes in the last few weeks.

The hooded figure turned his attention to this Raven. He dragged on his Crush, popped the filter, and dragged again, exhaling the smoke in Raven's direction. He leaned forward, sipped his drink, and chuckled, while another voice came from under his hood, growling. 'You don't want to do that, Raven.' the voice said in unison, one calm, the other harsh. Both from the same pair of lips.
'You won't have enough time to move away fast enough after you pull the trigger to that rifle to escape our wrath. Rethink your paranoia. It's not safe for you around us.' He leaned back against the bar, sipped his drink, and puffed his cigarette.
He sighed when Kerrigan looked at him emotionless, and said his true name. a growl escaped as the sigh vocalized. 'It is Krii'Esou. That is what you will call me.' He removed the hood, and let it rest on his shoulders, showing his now trimmed punked-up hairdo. He pulled his glasses off, and his eyes glowed white. The light from his eyes dimmed, and his naturally red eyes glared at Raven. Then turned to Kerrigan. A longing expression escaped his mask, and he worked himself back into his demeanor quickly, frowning as he turned back to Raven.

Marcus stared at the man with a crazy calm over his face and that crooked smile across his lips. After hearing what Kerrigan had to say and the warning given to him by the stranger, Marcus flipped the gun to full auto and sighed.
"Well, Mr. Krii'Esou, it sure is a pleasure to meet you. Er...I think I remember something about you..." Marcus chuckled as he waved a dismissing hand with his free hand as he shifted a bit, subtly repositioning the suppressor nozzle in the direction of the man. "Anywho, not important. What is important is this talk about paranoia. You know we have a shrink in our mist and her job is to deal with that..." The man laughed, letting out a loud sigh as he glanced over to his companion, aware that she was obviously feeling very awkward about the whole situation. Or at least that's how he read her as feeling. He knew he slightly did. But then again, there goes his idea of civic duty and such.
"Well, none the less, I'm glad to finally met you. That's a pretty spiffy trick...reading minds are we? I wonder...what are you reading my mind about now?" With a wolfish smile, Marcus stared directly into the man's face, taunting him to read his mind. Go ahead, it's alright. I'm just thinkin' about Kerri in her underwear last night...very nice.

Kerrigan did narrow her eyes as Krii responded to Raven with a threat, the huntress' lips pursing slightly as her fangs elongated ever so slightly. This was the Krii she had gotten fed up with in the end of their lives together, and it was this Krii that she was less than happy to see again.
"Oh, quick being suck a p***k," she muttered, shifting in her stool once more so she could face him. She gave him one of those looks - a look that only a woman could give - that silently told him to be nice. Raven responded with at least a pleasant return, laughing slightly as she glanced over at Noelle. If she hadn't spoken to the girl before, she would have felt very awkward about not including her in the conversation - from the looks of things it was almost like she was having a field day getting to know their conflicts from watching the conversation. Maybe she really was more transparent than she thought - not that she had anything to hide.
Raven challenged Krii's mind-reading ability, the huntress gently resting her head in her hand, propped on her knee. She was both amused by his cool reactions to everything, but at the same time not sure how this encounter would go. Why she wanted the two of them to get along, she had no idea - why she even cared what Krii thought of Raven was even more mysterious.

The cigarette burned higher in Sethe's mouth. The saftey on the rifle switched on, and the magazine's lock popped, dropping to the floor. Sethe stared into the man's eyes, and the greek letter Alpha lit in his right iris, and Omega lit in his left iris. Thoughts not his own flooded into Raven's mind: *Do not tempt us. We have worked long and hard to keep ourselves from going into a rage, and we will NOT lose that control now. You will never think of our mate in such a manner again. Is this understood, mortal?*
'You are a fool, Raven.' Sethe said aloud. He trapped the cigarette between his lips, and held his hand out as the magazine flew to his hand. 'Taunting the Omega Hunter, just returned from the most dangerous Hunt we've endured, still calming down from the rush of the Hunt, is the actions of an imbecile.' He waved the magazine in his hand, and slid it into his coat.
Kerrigan would hear the familiar thoughts of the wolf gently prodding her mind. *Kerrigan... Why do you ignore Sethe?* She would feel only the presence of the wolf, not Sethe's. *What has happened, Kerrigan?*

Marcus snickered a bit at the fancy trick as he watch his magazine in the possession of the man. Shaking his head in disbelief, Marcus looked over his shoulder to Kerrigan. "Now I can see why you divorced him...he's kind of an a*****e." Raising the rifle from out of his hiding spot, Marcus let out a sigh and shook his head as he focused his attention now onto the man.
"Alright. Let's talk. You think you're tough sh*t. Well, you forgot one thing. Round in the chamber. Now if I was a p***k about this whole thing, I would pull the trigger first before warning you about the bullet." Marcus then put the modified MP-5 on the counter, its nozzle still facing the Omega Hunter. "As the Omega Hunter, I would expect more out of you." The calm dark haired hunter mused.
"Now I see that the 'almighty' has returned. That's good. I'm glad to hear that. But I'm warning you...don't. Tempt. Me. I may be human and not have these superpowers, but I have a gift for stirring sh*t up and havin' the results I'm pleased with. So if you wanna threaten me like that in my head, knock yourself out, but be prepared for consequences." As for how I wanna think about your mate, you can f*ck off. I can think what I wish to think and if I dream her wearing only stiletto heels then I'm f*ckin' thinking it. Wanna stop me? Do it. Best do it now too or you might not get the chance again...
Marcus's eyes were intense as he stared at the man, knowing full well the hunter was probably more experienced and had the powers to stop him, but he'd be damned if he was going to let anyone talk to him like they walked on water. Grunting in disgust, Marcus glanced over to Kerrigan and the other woman.
"What is it with folks around here? Is it the atmosphere? The music? Or is it just me?" Marcus asked, his question carrying no tone of playfulness in it, but his face expressing a strange smile on his face.

Kerrigan sighed as Krii reacted to Raven's reasonable security measures with the gun, the magazine flying out of the gun and into his hand. She rolled her eyes, hearing the voice of the wolf in her head that she almost forgot what he sounded like. Her attentions snapped back to him, standing from the stool as she stepped towards him, eyes locking into his. Some might have been intimidated by the symbols now appearing in them, but not her. She had asserted herself when they were dating, and she was sure as hell not going to back down now that she did all that work on herself. There was no way she was going to let him waltz back in and turn her entire world upside down in one blow.
Then, things seemed to hit the fan when Marcus responded to something Krii said to him, no doubt in his mind like he had been talking to her. Raven's comment about her divorcing him caused her to take a deep breath, closing her eyes as she fought to keep herself in control. One hand went to her forehead, allowing their interaction to continue to a point. Then she had to step in.
"First off, we were never married. Second off, the two of you can stop this little pissing contest right now. The last thing we need is another fight in here tonight, so you both just need to shut up now and be civil, or take it outside before Hunter shoots you. So, are we done?" She looked between the two of them eyes connecting with each and giving them different statements without words. With Raven, it was almost pleading him to stop before things got worse...with Krii, it was more of a warning. She knew how he could get - he could hold a grudge worse than most women - and also knew that he would never stop asserting himself as the Omega. All traces of the suave Kerrigan seemed to be gone. Her sense of humor almost seemed tapped now, the huntress now working more on damage control and prevention before things got worse. She had a feeling there was more going on in this conversation than she knew about, but she could honestly say she was happier not knowing. Neutrality would be her best friend right now - at least until she got back in private quarters and could take out frustrations on a punching bag.

'You assume too much, fool.' Sethe replied. 'We did not forget the round in the chamber. We knew it was there. You think it would stop us? Now remove the weapon's aim from us. We will not be intimidated by a rookie. Stirring up problems is not a gift, it is foolish.' He sighed at Raven, shaking his head.
Then, Kerrigan stood up, and walked up to them, and interrupted them. He looked at her, and sighed. Sethe looked at Kerrigan after she spoke her piece, stood, and shook his head. 'We engaged in no contest. It was Raven who started this, by threatening us with the gun. We do not respond kindly to such actions, and won't let someone like him try to threaten us. We worked hard to get where we are, and we won't let someone like him try to undermine us.'
He looked back to Raven, and dragged his cigarette, now all but out. He snuffed the cherry against the metal on his glove, and put it in an ashtray. He finished his drink, and set the glass on the bar. he shook his head, replaced the cowl, and pulled his hood back up. 'We have endured too many trials to let a rookie insult us in the fashion he has tried.'
*Kerrigan... Why don't you answer me?* Esou spoke to her mind, again. *Kerrigan?*

Marcus couldn't help but laugh as Kerrigan stood up and made the stand against them both. Sighing and throwing his hands up in defeat, Marcus looked at the vampiress with a shrug. "I'm not the one invadin' minds here. But if you want us to play nice, I'll play nice..." With that, Marcus slowly let his hand go over to his rifle that rested on the counter and flipped the safety on, ensuring his movements were nonthreatening and to show he meant it when he said they were going to just talk.
Looking over to Mr. Omega Hunter, Marcus offered him a crooked smirk and a grunt of amusement. His eyes never did let up on intensity, but his posture was more relax and he really didn't think anything could of come from them fighting anyways. Like the woman said, it was a pissing contest as well as something else. But Marcus shrugged that something else away as he glanced over to Hunter, who looked like he was frozen in time.
"Mr. Hunter, may I have a glass of water?" Marcus asked in a quiet tone, his eyes now beginning to soften at the sight of the man. Though Kerrigan said Hunter would end up shooting them both, the young hunter kind of doubted it, for the old man looked as though he had witnessed the Rapture. Perhaps he did, but either way, his voice seemed to snapped the man from his frozen state to refill Marcus's empty glass.
Taking it and raising it towards Krii'Esou, Marcus took a quick sip of the cold liquid, letting it cool both his throat and mind. As soon as Krii'Esou got up and began his little speech, Marcus chuckle and shook his head, seeing where this was going to go. Glancing nonchalantly at the two, Marcus tilted his head to one shoulder and sighed.
"You know what I find funny. You are the mighty Omega Hunter, yet you are threatened and offended by someone so lowly as this 'mortal'. That's just...God, what's the word..." Marcus exaggeratedly looked around the bar, staring at Noelle for a long while before staring directly back at the Omega Hunter. "...oh yes, a pity. Well, if you are offended by me, then I'll make it easier for you to deal with it."
Getting up from where he sat, Marcus snatched the automatic rifle and connected it to the sling beneath his coat. Reaching from the other side of his coat, Marcus reloaded a fresh magazine in it and glanced over to Kerrigan, not caring how the aggressive Omega Hunter felt about his action.
"Sorry, but I'm heading out. Need to clear my head a bit and cool off. Don't want to do something foolish." Marcus sneered at the word as it left his mouth. In his mind though, Marcus laughed at the pitiful Hunter. Next time we talk, I hope you come up with better vocabulary to insult me with. Unsure if the man got his mental message or not, Marcus didn't care. Instead, he did what he thought best and that was to leave the situation while it was climaxing. If he was to remain, someone was going to get hurt, and he knew it wasn't just going to be physically.
"Kerrigan...I'll see you later. Noelle, hope you don't take this whole night as a major first impression...not all us Hunters are total assholes and dicks." Marcus chuckled a bit as it eased his mind, cooling that burning anger in his heart. Though he wanted to stay and argue with the man, he knew better. This man was only an archetype he's dealt with all his life at work. Mr. Perfect. Mr. I-can-say-and-do-anything. F*ck you. Was the only thing Marcus need to think before walking out of the bar, drawing his coat closer together to hide his gear and to raise his collar to hide his face. Before long, he was gone and out of sight.

Kerrigan heard Krii's response to her plea for them to knock it off, sighing in recognition that there was nothing she could really do to keep them from fighting if that was where it was heading. At least she could honestly say she tried when Edith came back to find the two in a spitting contest over nothing. People really needed to lighten up around here. Esou's voice in her mind once more caused her to twitch slightly, eyes searching under the cowl and hood for his with a rather hard stare.
'I have nothing to say Esou. To either of you. You cannnot keep doing this to me - leaving and coming back. I finally start to move on, finally start to find happiness in a new life, and the biggest part of my past makes some glorious return at the last second and puts me right back in square one. I almost left everything for you, and when I woke up, you were gone. Forgive me if I don't rush up and smother you in affection for abandoning me when I needed you most. I won't let you do this to me again.'
Her hard gaze turned from him, jawline rigid as she contemplated saying something else, but instead left it where it was. If he tried to probe her mind again, he would get nothing but a brick wall. To those around them, it would look like the two just had some sort of silent staring contest, Kerrigan turning away just in time to hear Raven respond as calmly as could be expected to Krii's remarks before turning and heading out of Hunters with a goodbye to her. She wanted him to stay, but had to at least admire him for knowing when to walk away. Making a mental note to thank him for it later, she waited until he was out of sight before running her fingers back through her hair, an agitated look coming to her face as she leaned back on the bar counter.
She almost couldn't believe that she found herself in this position - two sides to choose and unable to make a move in either direction. Why was it that every time she came close to completely moving on from him he reappeared, either from kidnapping or just randomly disappearing on her in the middle of the night. She started repeat her mantra to herself once more, but stopped, realizing that those thoughts were not ones she wanted anyone else, especially him, to hear. It was rare nowadays that she felt such a surge of conflicting emotions, and yet at this moment she could think of 50 different words to describe what she was feeling. It was annoying, to say the least, but she knew she had to get through it. Maybe this was a test, and if it was, then she was going to answer.
"God, I can't believe you would just show up here again, after everything," she muttered in a low voice, letting out a deep breath as she glanced in his direction once more, not really caring that they were still in the presence of another hunter. If she really was a shrink, then maybe she would be able to help her with this when they got a moment alone together.
"You keep asking what happened to me, and yet you can't even see what happened to yourself. What's still happening. When you came back the last time, you know I was ready to slow down. Jesus Christ, I'm a slayer and I was willing to cut back on the hunting so we could try a 'normal' life together - what you told me you wanted when we first decided to go ahead with the engagement. But after that it was always about the hunt. Always about getting back at those that wronged you and the other hunters. I can accept that Krii, but obsession is hardly befitting on anyone," she said, pushing off the counter and heading back towards the depths of Haven. She was so angry she wanted to scream, cry and throw up, though hopefully not all at the same time. Swallowing her emotions, something she knew wasn't healthy, seemed her only option right now. She would have to calm down before she could start dealing with this...
