Wokovu grinned, loosing all worry of the depressing attitude that hung in the air.. He batted at his brothers face when his ear was tugged, keeping his claws tucked away.. afterall it was merely play. The cub smirked, looking him over.. everyone had changed alot, that was for sure. "Where'd ya get all the scars?" to him.. scars were pretty cool. But that was probably just a boy thing.. He glanced at Taka "Go where?" he questioned.. not really minding if it was his buisness or not. If Tuele was going he wanted to go too. It'd be just like old times. It was getting boring around here anyways.

Sukutu watched as they spoke and then turned his head to Taka, smiling softly before he looked around, this would be interesting, going along with the old 'gang' with him and probably his mother thrown into the frae, a small change...but hey, small changes made big things.
"I'm coming along too..." He spoke up to the cheetah, smiling softly. "Mwali and Jasiri have become good friends of mine...and I can't say you and Teule haven't won me other aswell..."
He smiled warmly at the female before he turned to watch the white cub with his tan brother, sitting down as he turned his head in the direction of the horizon...soon...they would be going to the desert.

Jasi had a worried expression on her face. "Are you sure? You guys just came back from such a long trip." She really did want them to come, but not if it was to be a danger to them. It would be easier if there was only one slave, so they could escape without much dificulty if need be. She shook her head. She knew Taka would be too stubborn and not stay. She sighed. "Well anyway, were about to leave. Theres some food back at the cave if you havent already eaten." She turned towards Suku, playfully pawing at him before running off to tell Mwali of the others arival. When she neared Mwali she slowed down and halted infront of him. "The others are coming with us. We should hurry up and eat so we can get a move on. " She peaked over at Kimeti, giving him a gentle smile. "You'll get to meet my friends, Tuele and Woko, and Tuele's mother Taka, shes a cheetah, and she taught me all I know about hunting." She walked slowly over to Kimeti. "Do you know how to hunt Kimeti?"

The adolescent watched as Jasi' pawed at him playfully and watched her run of to the juvenille, he then let out a little dreamy sigh as his eyes went half lidded at the sight of her running...however after a few moments he quickly whacked himself in the cheek...jeez...being a teenager was weird...you saw girls run in slow mo'.

Kimeti's eyes glared at Mwali momentarily. "Mother has every right to be queen. She stood by father through the good and bad times of the pride, and she only has the prides best interest... but you're right, she shouldn't have to be queen if she truly doesn't want to, but I think she's afraid to give it up to Wali or the other lionesses." Looking out of the cave he sighed and slopped down where he was sitting, dust rolled up from underneath him and he yawned.
When Jasi came back, Kieti opted to remain laying where he was, enjoying the cool ground underneath him. Upon the young lionesses question he looked up at her. "Yes, I know how to hunt." He stretch his legs, flexing his claws in the process. "Why do you ask?"

Teule puffed his chest out playfully, raising his head a bit in mock pride. He snickered a bit, a laugh that still sounded pure cubbish.
"Eh, I got em' from hunting. Come one now, we know you want us to come Jasi, we're fine anyway. And I love you, too, Sukutu."
He laughed and grabbed the older juveniles neck in a rough hug. He wacthed Jasi run off and envisioned her as a cub, the first time they had met. It was funny thinking of her as a cub, his little Jasi. And he knew he had grown a bit too which was also kind of odd. Especially the new stupid piece of hair that was always falling in his face.
Taka grinned at Sukutu's comment, sweeping him up from Teule's grip and encasing the unfortunate juvenile in her own show of affection. She 'ahh' and licked the top of his head before releasing him. She smirked and noted the glaze in his eye as she watched Jasi run off to get the other two.
"We'll be positively fine, we just ate before coming back. We can go awhile without food anyway, hehe."

The adolescent gave an 'oof' as the juvenille hugged his neck roughly and he just gave a playful smirk before ruffling up his hair as he was released by his mother.
His eyes then shot up to look at Taka before he plopped his huge paws either side of the white cub and smiled at the cheetah, she was wise and she loved Teule and Jasi' very much...he could see why.
He then stood up and shook his ever growing teen mane before yawning loudly, showing of his big canines before nudging against Taka's side affectionatly.
"It'll be great having you guys along...heck since you guys came I couldn't see you all apart..." His words where sincere as he looked out on the rest of the group, continuing to smile warmly.

"I was just wondering." She made her way over to the zebra carcas, breaking a peice off and droping it infront of Kimeti. "Eat. Its going to be awile till we get there, and food will be scarce." She broke off a peice for herself and layed down next to him to eat. "Maybe you could come hunting sometime with us. Since Taka and Tuele are back, I wont have to hunt alone, and we could always use one extra lion. Its fun." Her thoughts waverd off to when she first learned to hunt. She rememberd her, Tuele, and Woko all taking down a full groan boar for the first time. Oh how sweet that boar had tasted. She took a bite of her meat and began to slowly chew, still in thought.

((wooooo, sorry it took me so long)) Koho listened intently, bringing all of her brother's words into her mind and sifting through them. Mwali's past seemed to be coming back to haunt him. Worry filled her mind as she thought about the journey the little group was planning on making. She knew Mwali was strong, but she didn't trust anyone with the life of her son, she never had. Any cub of the Pride lands was like her own child and would be protected by her as such. "If you are sure my leaving won't put the pride at risk, I would feel less worry for my son. Though I will promise you that I don't plan on getting very involved with the Firekin.... I trust Mwali, but I've seen the ways of their pride, it will take much to convince me they can act otherwise...."
A deep crimson appeared under the soft white tear streaks on the femme's face at the mention of Mwali's affection. She was fairly confused about her feelings. She had never been in love, she had always just done her job and been with her family. Since her brother had taken the throne, no male lions had ever paid attention to her unless they were hoping for her hunting skills to catch them a meal. Now it seemed like she had the oppotunity to have a mate and to have real cubs of her own. But how would Sukutu feel about that? She hadn't seen her adopted daughter in ages, but her adopted son's opinion meant the world to her. Perhaps she would be able to talk to him along the course of their journey.... A faint smile lit her features, the walk would also give her a chance to be with Mwali....
"Thank you brother, you're words have brought a clearer path to my mind. Mwali may act much like a cub at times, but perhaps all he needs is a little taming. I was always good at taming even the wildest cubs after all." A mischevious glint took shape in her eye before she lunged forward and pinned a big lick on Mufasa's face. Before he could retaliate she whipped around on her haunches, leaving a little circle in the cool dirt, and sprinted off towards the direction she had seen the Mwali drag the young one off to.

Mwali rolled to his paws again and made his way to the carcass. He wasn't all that hungry but he could almost too clearly remember the pain of hunger gnawing at him last time they made a cross through the dessert. It wasn't something he wanted to feel again. He removed a leg for himself and returned to the cave, plopping his bulk down behind Jasiri and Kimeti. For a long while he simply starred at the meat in his paws. His stomache was twisted into knots... it was hard to even think about eating but he knew that there really was no question to it- he had to have food in him. Forcing himself to eat- every bite was like a rock to his gut. If the cubs hadn't been there he very well would have been growling in discomfort. He didn't want to eat, or walk, or anything. He wanted to lay there and be miserable, feel sorry for himself and eventually get over himself enough to see a clear and logical solution to the problem at hand- but they didn't have time. If Kimeti's mother handed the pride over to another one of the lionesses, there would be little hope in his safe return. The cubs would be raised to be as bloodthirsty and trecherous as they were- perhaps wose. His father's legacy would live on and forever the firekin would be divided from the other prides. There would be no mercy to future ones like himself if the managed to escape the desert.

-Opening his mouth to speak, his sister caught him off guard, before sprinting quickly off. Only a moment lost to the threat, he gave a playful growl before bounding off after her enroute back to the Pride Rocks.
Perhaps his longer legs would help him catch her? Or perhaps her feminine grace would keep her a length ahead? He followed in play, laughing with a soft amusement he hadn't felt since befor the plague.-

((since our little duet of posts doesn't affect anyone else really, I hope no one minds me posting again so soon... I'm trying to catch my free time when I can sweatdrop )) Amber eyes widened suddenly as the cave came into abrupt view and the rouge himself happened to be right in Koho's rather hazardous path. A surprised yelp emerged from her long vocal cords as she attempted skidding to a halt, however, hearing her brother's laughter and panting behind her she opted for getting out of the way. Crouching and springing with a lioness's inherited speed she took a good leap over Mwali, her back half bouncing slightly as she landed gracefully on the other side of him, attempting to avoid stepping in anything or on anyone. "Speak of the devil. This is a crafty little cave you all have, anywhere a lioness can hide from her big brother?" A grin split her face as her eyes darted around playfully, searching for a little niche from which she could surprise the incoming Mufasa. Seeing nothing but flat surface or too small of a crawl space she scrunched down behind the adequately larger Mwali, making a shushing noise to express her intent not to be discovered. She just hope Mufasa decided to stop instead of jump like herself, that could be a nasty surprise for both of them if she turned into his landing pad. Hastily she noticed her tail lounging out in the open, though by the sound of things, there was a chance the king had already spotted the treterous puff.

Teule snickered a bit before nudging the older one off him playfully. He folllowed Jasi's figure to where Mwali and his nephew were. Teule was bit by a tinge of envy and started to inch off towards them, eager to show off his new skills. And to outwit or outshow his nephew, though this thought scratched subconciously in the back of his mind.
Taka grunted and smirked, roughly petting and hugging Suku to her side. Nice boy he was, thought the cheetah, eyeing the departing white lion. Taka puffed up, holding a paw to her chest and grinning deeply, eyes fluttering mockingly.
"Of course it's great 'aving us, who could resist this face?"

The adolescent gave a small chuckle at the cheetah's comment and then looked at her, eyes half lidded as he grinned a stupid teenage grin.
"Nobody Taka' they're blind if they can resist you..." He said softly, smirking to himself before he turned to watch his foster mother playing with the King, a soft smile playing with his lips before he looked around the rest of the horizon, only to see a huge grey blob on the horizon.
He blinked squinting his eyes before he made it out to be a full grown male elephant
"What the?...oh no..." He sighed angrily before giving a soft smile to the cheetah and trotting off.
"I'll be back in a second I have to talk to someone..." He said before beggining to sprint towards the huge paciderm (sp? xd ) before he slowed down and started to stalk it, an evil grin lacing his features.
All of a sudden the adolescent leapt upon the rear end of thecreature only to get tossed of and then being glared at by the elephant.
"That was a low blow Suku!" Trumpeted the bull. "I didn't even catch your scent!!!"
The lion just laughed before rolling onto his back before whacking the mammoth beasts trunk playfully.
"What you weren't able to smell me with that huge snoz???"
