Shuiro turned away from him. He could do whatever, she could care less... Swining back her leg, she kicked the bit of rock that was left and it shattered against another breaking a part of her seventh boulder off. She was more than halfway done now... Just a bit more than three to go... Fun...

She made another jump for it. Trying to get herself as high as possible into the air. It wasn't that sucessful. She was loosing energy pretty fast now... she could keep up her strength better than her speed and momentum. Striking the rock and jumping back, she realized that she didn't even leave a scratch. "Well that's lovely..."

Getting extremely annoyed with her current boulder, she did as before and turned on another. It was smashed into pieces, but her hand was covered in a fresh coating of blood... It was worth it though. A smirk crossed her face effortlessly and she eyed the rock that was now dust and then the one that wouldn't die... She would destroy it no matter what... No one would stop her now...

She was starting to wonder if the boulder she was working on was made of a different type of rock than the others. No matter how many times she tried to hit or kick it... it wouldn't break. But it had to... a chunk of it was already removed... so I couldn't be different. Her latest attemp, was just like the one before she smashed the other to pieces... she hoped she would have that kind of luck again...

She was close this time... she didn't want to keep Sir-sensei waiting too long... he might just double her work for wasting time. In his terms, that is... She knew she was trying her best, and she was doing a very good job in her opinion... right now, though, kicking and punching the boulder in would-be weak spots wasn't doing her any good... It was more annoying than anything...

She was doing slightly better this time. She made several good cracks by landing a kick or two onto its hard surface. She swore this was some demon rock that only burst into dust by talking nice to it, or saying a magic word... She sighed and kept going... there was nothing else she could do... and she was running low on energy too...

She leaned forward and placed her hands on the rock to keep her balance. She was tired... and sore... She'd have to wrap up her hands later, when she had time... she couldn't tell if they were bleeding or if they were just covered in dry blood... She took deep breaths to slow down her heart beat... the faster it went, the more blood she could loose... She hoped all of this would end as soon as possible...

She tried again and aigain, but the dang boulder wouldn't crack. She had built up enough fury inside her to take a wack at another whole one, but she didn't want to use her hands again. She leaped high into the air and made sure to time herself precisely. As if it were the simplest task, she destroyed the rock with a single strike. Why couldn't she do that with the other one. It was starting to be a repeat of the night before...

Groaning from slight balance failure, she leaned forward and threw another punch. This time she was able to take out a good chunck of the rock, she only had one and a half to go, by the way it looked at least. She was glad it was almost over... atleast this part of the training... she had another step or two to complete and she heard sensei mention a mission?

Not wanting to give up just yet... like she would ever do that... she raised her fist once more and struck down on the troublesome rock with what strength she had left. The other half of it shattered and there was one left standing... she had wished sensei had told her earlier that throwing ricks against eachother was cheating... then she would be done... Oh well, no sence in complaining now...

Both hands bleeding she kicked around the last bothersome rock until a good-sized amount of it broke off... She was hunched forward slightly now, her back was hurting from the strain... she hadn't even noticed the pain until now... She had to finish this up soon or she might not make it... She laughed hollowly to herself at her own dramatic thoughts...

Alas her luck was lost, yet again. She was almost finished with her last boulder and she was only able to make a few cracks in its surface... or what was left of it. Though the fact that it didn't shatter was annoying, she did give herself credit for trying... and atleast doing a little damage... crack by crack, she knew it would fall apart... eventually...

She stopped again to take another break. Running low on energy wasn't something Shuiro was used to... She hoped sensei wouldn't snap at her for resting... she wasn't sure if she'd be able to control her temper and her smart remarks if he did... Slumping to the ground, she leaned her had back onto the rock and closed her eyes. She wasn't going to fall asleep, but the sun was getting higher and she was sensitive to it's harsh rays...

The monster laughed, leaning slightly backwards, avoiding the kunai. He then managed to produce handseals with his webbed fins and laughed, as the water behind him rose. It rose and rose, causing a massive tidal wave that was a fealful sight to behold. The likeliness of Katagi's mental health being able to handle such a blow is doubtful. The water neared him, and upon feeling the slightest ocean spray cleanse his brow, he was back at the training grounds, with a slightly worried Cassidy and a somewhat mad cat starring at him.
Deezer's hair stood up a bit as he spoke.
"I'm sorry if you were mislead, but honestly, if that were a real mission, and you were encountered by an enemy, you would NOT leave your teammate behind. And even though Cassidy, you were the one who got away, Katagi, I felt you strugle to resist it just as much as she did! Until you understand the importance of teamwork, and that your cellmates lives are just as important as your own, we can not proceed with acceptance of missions yet. Allow me to devise a new plan, that will further test you, while you two do some mindnumbing excersize. Both of you, go work on chakra control, by running up the side of that stone cliff there. See how high you can get, then try and beat that, alright?"
He sighed deeply. He needed to drill the importance of teamwork into their head somehow. He sat and thought about it, while the other two were sent to do their assignment.
((Chakra control (Int based)excersize;
30 foot tall cliff
first ten feet, DC=7
next ten feet, DC=10
last ten feet, DC=13
every DC you pass, you proceed two feet
If you fail a DC check, you get pushed off the cliff from over or under chakra excertion, and have to start over.
Once you make twenty rolls in all, the excersize is over with, and you can return to Deezers.
Who ever gets higher gets a reward of sorts.
Yeah, it's a lot, so if I wasn't clear enough on anything, by all means, ask for clarification))
