He was getting shouted at by Aria. It made him startle and the next thing he knew? He had to try all over again to get through the mob waves.

Still singing and firing wildly, he realized one of the apparitions wasn't one at all but the unfortunate figure of H.
Who apparently didn't really aprpeciate Jerry's aiming disability.
Jerry didn't feel that bad, but did try to direct his blasts at the creatures at hand.
Rolling a 3: The Life lead (H) is exasperated at your attempt to help him as you nearly hit him. He mutters some mildly chastising words, you turn around and stare- your damage modifier drops to -10 for your next attack roll.

Surprisingly, Aria came by with a can of ez freez that made Clerise's life way easier. Time to slam dunk a spider skelly boss. Clerise felt pretty ******** fancy; she did a flip over it, dragging Balthazar along a leg-with-eyes and landing on the floor. Huh. Feels pretty ******** fancy to actually hit stuff. Ryan spent a good amount of time stumbling around blindly through the room. By the time he could see again, Edith was yelling at him again. Though unlike the last time, she wasn't angry and was shouting encouraging words at him.

Maebe felt like she was actually getting somewhere, when her division lead chastised her. She looked behind her, wondering if the woman meant someone else.. nope. Definitely her. Without even knowing that he had managed to mingle himself in to a herd of other lifers, Quinn found himself standing close to the door. This was the safest spot, he told himself. There was fewer spiders here and that huge one was as far away as possible.
Somewhere he also felt something close to satisfaction knowing he was not the only one sitting the battle out. Instead he looked towards the small band and offered up a small smile "Bad time for greetings but uh... Hi."
