The Count arrived near the Gotham outskirts not long after he left his office. Finding this specific place had not been difficult. There were pretty few old run down magic shops around. Well that wasn't true, but there were very few with the specific name he had seen on the security camera. The archer took a high vantage point atop a roof and began looking down at the shop for any sign of the girl he had seen.

The Magic shop was a bit burned and damaged, sitting by itself away from most of the other buildings. A nice large parking lot kept it secluded from the rest of the area, and the security camera focused more on the cluster of buildings. Which explained why the little girl with the familiar face was just barely in view of the camera. Rosie was pacing back and forth in the parking lot, her red hair back and forth as she moved uneasily. She was dressed in a set of purple and green pajamas with little smiley faces on them. The adult standing across from her, out of the range of the camera, was Gossamer. Her forehead was a bit bloodied, but that seemed to be the extent of her injuries. She stood with her arms crossed, looking from Rosie to the Magic Shop. The Joker's car was parked just outside the store. No sign of the Joker, and it didn't appear as though either lady was making any move to run away from the building.

The Count shuffled around rooftops until he found one with a better vantage point. From this rooftop he could see the parking lot and the two ladies standing around outside the old damaged magic shop. Edmond notched an arrow with a low explosive tip, mostly fireworks to be honest. If he had to use it the extent of damage would be nothing greater than a few burns and enough force to shake a car, so not very much. With the arrow notched in his bow Edmond dropped down from the rooftop into an alley that let out directly into the parking lot and he moved forward to the very edge of that alley. Fortunately he had worn the white mask and either Gossamer or Rosie would be able to see him. Then Edmond stood in his place directly across from the magic shop, trying to draw them away from the shop using simply there curiosity against them. He said nothing and did nothing other than stand there with the arrow notched.

"But... he's not going to take very long, is he?" Rosie asked, pacing nervously back and forth. "I'm not sure, dear." Gossamer sighed. "He's... probably just getting what he needs together and talking with Harley.""Okay... we're not leaving until he comes out though, right?" Rosie asked. ".... right." Gossamer replied. Honestly, the way Joker had given Rosie his joy buzzer and told her to look after it... it sounded a hell of a lot like a 'goodbye' to the woman. The child should have been able to catch that too. But... this Rosie had been with Joker for a long time now. The way she had acted inside, and the way Joker had reacted inside... it was a fair guess that the child had become very attached to the man. Rosie sighed and hugged her doll against her tightly. She looked about the parking lot as she waited anxiously for Joker to come back out of the building. She spotted the white mask in the alley, and it took her a moment to figure out what it was. Unlike the other Rosie, this one had never met the Count. She'd been in hiding with the Joker for months. The little girl tensed up, then moved around her mother to hide behind her. Gossamer looked down at her, then over at the alley. She had been unconscious when the Count had stepped in to help. She only had what little description Joker had given her to go off of. She put a hand out to keep Rosie behind her. "I am really... really not in the mood for games right now. Come out. I guarantee you that you don't want me coming over there." she said. Her voice suddenly taking a rather hostile undertone.

"The last time I stepped out of cover to help you I ended up getting shot and stuck with a child who was bleeding to death. I think this time I will stay right here and you will come to me." Edmond hadn't intended to seem so demanding but with everything that had happened seeing Gossamer and hearing what she said angered him slightly. He didn't remember that she had been unconscious the last time they were near each other but at the time he was more concerned about dealing with the Joker. So the Count remained in the alley and in the darkness where he was often able to disappear if he needed to. He had caught some of what the two were saying but not very much of it. The girl seemed attached to the Joker but Gossamer seemed to be simply waiting to tell the girl bad news. It almost made the Count sad for both of them in a different way, but he couldn't be sad now, so he wasn't.

Gossamer's frown grew after the man in the alley had spoken. So this must have been the man that Joker had told her about. That... complicated things. The man was probably here to help, but if the Joker did come out and see Gossamer over in the alley with him, she wasn't sure how he'd react. The moment the clown had opened the trunk she had been surprised at how the man was acting. She looked down at the child behind her, then back over at the Count. She wasn't sure when or if the Joker was coming back out of the building. She didn't want him to see Gossamer over in the alley with Rosie. At the same time, she didn't want to tell Rosie to go wait by the car in case Joker changed his mind and went off with Rosie again. She doubted the child would be willing to stray far from the parking lot. "Come on, sweetie. You wait up here against the wall while I talk to this man." Gossamer said, moving towards the alley.

When Gossamer began walking towards the alley the Count backed into it a little more so that anyone leaving the run down shop would not be able to see him. He has a tactical man and knew the disadvantages and advantages of his position. Gossamer did not seem as threatening now as she had before Edmond spoke but she still seemed worried in some way and he could not fault her for it. Circumstances were complicated. He waited until she had come close enough before he put the arrow he had notched back into the quiver. Then Edmond spoke a very brief two words. "Crime Alley."

The child hesitantly followed behind Gossamer until she reached the opening of the alley. She looked back towards the shop, then over at the brick wall. Carefully, Rosie walked away from her mother and planted herself in the center of the wall facing the Magic Shop. Gossamer looked back to make sure Rosie was fine, then looked back at the man hiding in the alley. She tried to lean against the wall to make it look as though she were simply waiting. She didn't want the Joker to suspect she was talking to any one in case he did come out. "What about it?" she asked quietly.

"That is where she is waiting for you. The other one. Then again with so many of them running around it must be hard to keep track. The one he shot is waiting for you there." Edmond motioned towards the magic shop figuring that was where the joker was. He based that off the fact Gossamer had been making a noticeable effort to seem casual. More of an effort than someone should have to make unless they were worried that someone else could come out and see them at any moment. Edmond looked from Gossamer up the to roof of the two buildings forming the alley and then back down at Gossamer. Just planning ahead. That was all he ever really did in situations like this.

Gossamer was quiet for a moment, then let out a slow sigh. "I've... been trying to gather them all up into one little girl." she began, looking over at the Magic Shop. "Her duplicating powers allow her to merge back together with herself. The ones we've found that are... altered are a bit harder to press back together. This Rosie... the one that has been with Joker... has been separated from me for some time now." she said, then casually looked away and towards the street. ".... thank you, by the way. For helping her."

"I know what you've been trying to do. She told me." The Count turned and looked down the alley as if he had heard something for a moment before he turned back to Gossamer. "What you are trying to do, it will not be easy. There are too many of them and I am not sure they are confined to this city. The ones experimenting with them are not bound to Gotham. " Edmond did not know if Gossamer was aware of the Underground Exhibit but he spoke as if she would know who they were. It was a habit that normally prevented him from giving away to much information oddly. When she thanked him the Count fell silent, fortunately his mask hid all signs of his facial expression so she could not witness the sudden shift. He felt bad because he had not come to help them. His intentions were to find the Rosie he had first met and he did not. Instead he found them and even considered leaving them there with the Joker, but he couldn't and he didn't so Edmond said plainly "Your welcome. "

Gossamer looked back at Rosie for a moment, her brow furrowed in thought. "So... finding their little lab isn't going to solve the whole problem." she mused to herself. Looked like she was going to have to think of a different tactic. Who knows how many Rosies were out and about by now. If it wasn't contained to just Gotham, then it might be impossible to round up all of her daughter's little duplicates. Unless... she just eliminated them using Rosie's DNA. Surely there was a spell that could do that. In fact she knew there was. If she could find that spell, she might be able to alter it so that it was more of a pinpointing thing. See where they were and destroy everything in the area except the child.

"Finding their labs is the easy part. It is finding a way to take them all down at the same time that will be difficult." The Count spoke slowly as he took a few steps back. He could tell Gossamer was thinking but he did have other things to do. The lab was the big picture, Edmond still had to deal with the details like Blackstone. If he did it tonight he would be another step closer to his goals but he did not have to. "Will you go back to the other Rosie? I don't imagine they will cope well with seeing each other. "

Nine1122 ( Sorry for the delay, really busy few weeks ) "After what they've done to my daughter, it won't matter if they're taken down at the same time or not. I'm not letting a single one of those roaches get away from me." Gossamer said in a low growl. She was clearly upset with all the altered duplicates she had found. And knowing what happened to the duplicates that didn't didn't make it up to par... she wasn't going to be very nice when she finally found the labs. She paused a moment after Count had asked about the Rosies she had, and looked back at the one sitting against the wall. "Of course I'm going back. Once... once I get things settled here. I'm not sure how this is going to go, and I don't want Joker coming after us if he was serious about just waiting outside. And the way she's acting, I don't want to take her home kicking and screaming. I... I suppose we'll see. I'll figure out what to do once I get back home." she said, then looked back towards the alley. "I... I don't think he's going to kill me. Surprising considering everything I thought might happen when we found each other again. But... he had a perfectly good chance to do so inside, and he didn't."

"If the labs are dealt with separately then whichever ones are not attacked will have time to prepare. As far as the labs go it seems we have a common goal. I want to bring them all down just as much as you, the difference is I know where to start. If we work together we may both get what we want a lot sooner. Would you be willing to work together?" Edmond was not a big team player, the more people he let in, the larger chance there was that someone would screw up. He would not trust Gossamer with nearly as much as he had trusted Emily but the woman did seem to have a common goal. Whether or not he liked it Edmond did need the help.
He then pulled an arrow from his quiver and held in in a nonthreatening way before speaking about Rosie again. "Do you want cover in case he changes his mind? I told the other Rosie that I would bring you back and I can't leave here without being sure you will return. I keep my promises."
