 Firestorm laughed as he saw Silverclaw pummel into Hawkpaw. seeing Silverclaw always made her laugh. She had that playful side to her. she is an amazing warrior. "well now. lets see how much you know shall we?" Firestorm sat down with his tail curled around his paws. watching hawkpaw and Silverclaw.

___________________________________________ [Silverstar let out a purr and sat back up. She pressed her flank against Cindermoon's in affection and comfort. She licked her friend's ear in return.]
"Cindermoon, it'll be fine. I'll never forget my first Gathering as deputy, I was way more nervous than you! It gets easier, and if you have any troubles, just talk to me. I'm always here for you."
[Silverstar's green eyes glowed with happiness. It had been much easier to cope with Icefire's death, she had almost the whole Clan offering her support. Silverstar licked Cindermoon's ear again and padded off to gather her patrol to the Gathering. She quickly padded over to where Hawkpaw and the other cats were clustered.]
"Hawkpaw, Icestorm, and Silverclaw, you will be going to the Gathering. Hurry, we are leaving soon."
[Silverstar dipped her head to Firestorm, hoping he'd understand about not going to the Gathering. She turned and padded back to Cindermoon.] _________________________________________

 H a w k p a w“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”___________________________[Hawkpaw's eyes widened as Silverclaw suddenly decided to test him. He calmed himself, watching Silverclaw's paws appraoching his own before forcing much energy into jumping up and onto the she-cat's back, laughing all the while. Just as he did so, Silverstar approached them. Hawkpaw instantly fell off of Silverclaw in a very ungracious manner before scrambling to stand up straight and dip his head very lowly to show deep respect and gratitude.]
“T-thank you, Siverstar! Yes, Silverstar.” [Hawkpaw's flanks still heaved tussling with Silverclaw, and now he was practically hyperventilating from excitement. This would be his first trip to a Gathering! The thought made him want to yowl with joy. He'd see the other Clans' warriors and apprentices and deputies and leaders. He turned to Firestorm and Silverclaw, eyes glittering with barely contained glee.] “So, when do we leave?”
[Suddenly, a thought crossed his mind, making him momentarily flatten his ears and watch the ground. Thunderpaw and Moonkit wouldn't be joining him...But he did hear that Moonkit would go with Starpelt to the Moonpool soon, so there was finally some good news, and Thunderpaw would be able to take charge of camp with the other warriors while he and the others were gone, so that wouldn't be so bad. Perhaps, with a new deputy and such a brilliant array of cats, things were beginning to look a little better for StormClan...]

The deputy smiled and let out a soft purr as she felt her friend's warm pelt against hers. She stood up and took a deep breath. Even through her nerves she was excited to sit under the leaders with the other deputies. She would show the other clans! She would show them that even a blind cat could be deputy. She smiled as Silverstar rejoined her. She held her gray head high with pride. I'm ready! Let me at them StarClan! She turned her blind gaze toward Firestorm. She wished he was going to the gathering as well. She quickly turned her face toward the ground so the tom wouldn't catch her staring. She felt her pelt grow hot a little as she thought of the flame colored tabby.

___________________________________________ [Silverstar chuckled at the young apprentice. She stood and signaled for her patrol to follow. She stopped at the camp entrance and bounded back to Firestorm.]
"Until we get back, you are in charge. Make sure it stays neat!"
[Silverstar growled the last words playfully, then swished her tail over Firestorm's ear. She dipped her head and padded back to her patrol. She plunged through the tunnel and the cats were soon racing through the forest to the Gathering. Silverstar felt Cindermoon's warm breath beside her, and she turned her sleek silver head and flashed a smile at the deputy. She pressed her pelt closer for reassurance as they continued to Twin Rocks.] _________________________________________

Firestorm nodded with understanding. at the last gathering many things had occured... many things. he licked Icestorm and Silverclaw's ears in affection and comfort. "tell me everything when you get back..." He whispers to them. suddenly Silverstar had left him in charge. "Eh!?!?!" The word escaped his mouth before anything else. "O...Ok...." Firestorm was surprised and shocked.

 Icestorm felt a pang of dissapointment, but it vanished when she heard silveclaw was coming. she brushed her pelt with Firestorm's before following her leader. "Good Luck!" she yowled to her brother before padding behind her leader, next to her closesest friend.

Cindermoon smile at Silverstar and purred at the touch of her warm pelt. If only she knew why my pelt was so hot... She flicked her tail and followed after her friend. her mind raced as she padded with her clan to Twin Rocks.

 "hey!" Silverclaw said as hawkpaw jumped on her back. she dipped her head to her leader. "YAY!" Silverclaw jumped like a kit. "Good Luck!" She said as she gave Firestorm an affectionate and comforting lick. She then bounded away. padding next to her friend. Her tail swishing with excitement.

___________________________________________ [Silverstar slowed to a halt as her patrol neared Twin Rocks. She paused anmd sniffed the air, finding that theu were the first ones there. She signaled for her patrol to follow, and together they plunged into the gorse toward the clearing.]

He ran swiftly, though of course still lagged behind with the other apprentices. But Hawkpaw felt happy, for once. He actually felt like he belonged with StormClan now, like he was meant to be born into this Clan, rather than on accident. Rather that priviledged to be part of them, he was one of them. And he was on his way to becoming a warrior.
Of course, now all that was on his mind was how the other Clan warriors and apprentices would react to his own Clan. He'd heard that the four Clans meant in peace at Gatherings, but he had a feeling that the line of peace was a fragile one.
And before he knew it, they were there, and first, to be exact. The Twin Rocks looked amazing, and Hawkpaw couldn't help but gape at them.]

(( OH GREAT STARCLAN, I APOLOGIZE. I was swamped suddenly with a bunch of...work...I have a magor grade test tomorrow, plus I finished a major grade project and I've been trying to juggle the two, plus an art project, plus normal homework. I had no way to reach anyone- my parents changed the password to the comp- and I've been literally working 'till bedtime. I'm so sorry!
I'm on now, and I'll be on tomorrow and the weekend. We need to get this thing started.

[I sighed and watched all my friends leave. It was nice Cindermoon was deputy-she deserved it- but I wished I could go to the gathering. I bet I couldn't go because of what was happening to me...with all the being possessed business. How sane would StormClan look if one of their apprentices spasmed on the floor shouting "beware" like a deranged maniac?
I felt a little proud, though. At least this way I'd be able to take care of things in case something happened in the leader's absence...
I padded forward, then froze. My mother's voice trembled into my ear. It sounded weak.
Thunder... she cried, sounding far away. Oh StarClan...Thunder...stop Silverstar...don't let her go...]
"What?" I whispered, terrified. [Smell the air, Thunder. I know you can sense a brewing storm sooner than anyone else...
I sniffed. The air was moist. A thunderstorm? No, my mother wasn't the type to warn me about a silly storm. I sniffed again, this time trying to sense.
My heart stopped.
The forest was quiet. Not a single bird cheeped, not a single prey moved. It was as if everything was hiding away from something.
Something that was coming. Fast.
My heart exploded. No. It couldn't be!
Something was coming! It was going to attack!
The slayers, my mother hissed. the STAR SLAYERS!
Suddenly it clicked. In a whirl, my mind spun.
-star. The denomination of a leader. All the leaders would be at the gathering. Like sitting ducks. They were open to attack. Oh StarClan. They were going to attack at the gathering!
I began to scramble, trying to move quickly. Suddenly my body went limp, and I fell on the groung, sobbing. I couldn't move. Fear paralyzed me.
Move, move! I thought desperately, but my muscles refused. I sobbed, the fear overwhelmingly sharp...]
