 [Fathom blinked, trying to hold back a satisfied purr.]
He said, "Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name. Leopardpaw, form this moment you will be known as Leopardstorm. StarClan honors your strength and your courage, and we welcome you as a full warrior of NightClan."
[Fathom rested his head on Leopardstorm's shoulder and she licked his shoulder in respect. The Clan chanted her name, and Fathom's eyes shined proudly.]

  [Fathom turned, eyes glittering.]
"And now, another problem must be addressed. As you all may have noticed, Moonflower has disappeared. It is to my knowledge that she has left the Clan and renamed herself Rain, and is living as a rouge. Unfortunately, she left her half-trained apprentice, Nightpaw, behind.
I have decided to take up Nightpaw's training. Nightpaw, come."
[Nightpaw jumped up to the Shadowstone, surprised.]
"I don't believe there is a ceremony for changing mentors, but it shall be done. From now on, I, Fathom, shall mentor you, Nightpaw, until you are ready to become a warrior. StarClan honors your patience."
[He touched noses with the apprentice and nodded.]
"That is all for now. I must decide what do to about the troublesome matter of apprentices and the lack of mentors."
[Fathom jumped down, tail swishing.]
Turning to his new apprentice, he said, "We shall resume your training immediately in the morning. Until then, get some rest."
[He nodded his head, and looked up at the sky, marveling over StarClan's approval of him.]

 "You believe those seeking the truth, but doubt those who find it. ________________________________________ ((Eep, disregard my last posting style name thingy! Sorry, got ahead of myself!))
[Leopardstorm raised her head proudly as she leapt down from the Shadowstone (we'll use that for now until everyone agrees) and couldn't repress a purr. She tried to cover it, but it wouldn't stop. She blinked happily at her friends, but remained silent. She stole a glance toward Fathom, and her purr grew louder. She covered it, embarrassed. She took up a position near the camp entrance to begin her silent vigil.] ________________________________________

[Lavenderrain limped out of the medicine cat's den and yowled to the air..]
"Leopardstorm! Leopardstorm! Leopardstorm!" she called out.
[Eyes shining she touched noses to the young warrior.]
"Congratulations. I'm so very happy for you!" she mewed knowing Leopardstorm couldn't answer her.
[With a swish of her tail she backed away to go catch a word with Fathom.]

Sorry for disappearing guys, got exams and vacation with family >.< ))
[Eaglepaw sat at the outer edge of the group of cats, raising his head and yowling into the air for the newly made warrior Leopardstorm.]
"Leopardstorm! Leopardstorm! Leopardstorm!"
[Eaglepaw yowled with the rest of the gathered cats, though eh could not help but feel a pang of envy for the new warrior.] I'm almost as old as her already...ok, maybe half a moon or so younger, but still...

[Leopardstorm raised her head proudly as she looked at her Clanmates. Her gaze wandered to the kits, who were wiggling excitedly. Purekit, Richkit, Shiningkit. . . Shiningkit. Moon- Rain asked me if I would mentor her. I should talk to Fathom about it. Leopardstorm thought.
She adjusted her wieght on her paws and sat straight, so much excitement and energy pouring through her that she found it quite easy to stay awake.] ________________________________________

[Nightpaw was happy that she had a new mentor.]"Wow, Fathom as my mentor..."[She mewed in awe. She looked at Leopardstorm before she went to sleep.]"I can't wait until I become a warrior..."[she mumbled as she yawned and fell asleep.]

[She flicked her with her tail to let her know she was joking]
[Foxfur grinned]
"Yeah Leopardstorm. Congratulations. You'll make a fine warrior!"
[He blinked warmly, and padded after his friend]

H o n e y k i t“A joke is a very serious thing.”___________________________[Honeykit's pale green eyes sparkled with joy for his Clanmate. He purred loudly, chanting her warrior name with the rest of the Clan.]
She'll make a great NightClan warrior, I just know it! And just the name...'Leopardstorm'...How great is that?! I hope my warrior name turns out that good...Speaking of warrior names, I'll need my apprentice name first...Oh Hauntedheart, I just hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me...I didn't know...
[Honeykit sighed, shaking his head and clearing his mind of the memories of him, Dapplekit and Shiningkit trampling over the flower offerings. He mind wandered off to flowers once more. Perhaps he'd try to study some more herbs and flower later on...Somewhere--anywhere--far away from the burial grounds.
The little golden tom looked around, catching sight of Leopardstorm, Fathom, Eaglepaw, Lavenderrain, Foxfur and...Willowheart was missing. Honeykit tilted his head in confusion.]
That's strange. She usually sticks to Foxfur like a tick...Well, I suppose she has her reasons for leaving camp. Perhaps she went out to hunt or patrol...Hmm...I really want to smell catmint again...Ohhh, mousedung! I can't leave camp until this crowd of cats is gone...Eh, I can wait...
[Honeykit shrugged. Every cat had their business, and it wasn't his to find out. Well, at least, it wouldn't be his until he became the medicine cat apprentice. He winced, a crooked grin parting his lips. He looked away from the other cats, cursing himself inwardly.]
Why do I always have to think about that?! Focus on herbs and flowers, Honeykit! Poppy, thyme, thistle, marigold, goldenrod, roses, catmint...
(( Pfft. He's such a dork. lD
@Angel: OH OH OH. Can Honeykit/paw eventually one day spot Willowheart and her *cough* lover on the border? You could say that there're flowers over there, which Honeykit is totally attracted to like a moth to a flame...Or bee to a flower. xD Lulz. ))___________________________

[Fathom yawned. In the morning, he'd have to train his apprentice...he knew. It felt strange to switch from one apprentice to another overnight, but he knew Nightpaw deserved it. It wasn't her fault her mentor abandoned her.
He felt a pang of guilt at the thought of Moonflower...no, Rain. He felt as if he had run her off, without even trying too.
He sighed, trying to forget the feelings. He padded into his den and slowly let sleep numb his mind.
He had a dreamless dream. Or at least, uneventful. He was floating in a large white void. Nothing but white. He was the sole creature, floating, his fur waving in wisps as if underwater. And he was just floating, floating, floating...no destination in sight.
An endless void.
(( Skip to the morning : o ))
Fathom slowly opened his eyes. Sunlight beamed into his den, filling it with sleepy light. He yawned and stretched, arching his back, then stood, shaking the dust off of him.
He padded into the sunlight, looking around for his new apprentice.]

[Fathom shook himself, then remembered that Lavenderrain had requested Waterpaw become a warrior. (( Let's pretend she told him. D| ))
He padded up to the Shadowstone and jumped up.]
"It is time for me to do something I should have done before," he yowled, calling all the cat's attention.
"Waterpaw, please step forward."
(( I came up with a great name for him : D ))

HauntedheartThe smokey gray she-cat opened her crystal eyes as the morning light filled her den. Hauntedheart sighed and pushed herself up, another day. She pricked her ears as Fathom called a meeting. he really needs to learn the right words! StarClan will be angry otherwise... wait! What do I care about StarClan? They let my mentor kill my mate and tore me away form my family! I hate StarClan! The medcine cat snorted and padded outside her den to listen. She thought it was right that Waterpaw finally became a warrior. She then glanced at Eaglepaw. Hauntedheart believed he should become a warrior as well but it was Fathom's choice. She glared towrad the nurseyr and Honeykit. He was such a nusance! SmokewhiskerThe gray tabby padded toward the baseof Shadowstone and looked up at Fathom. He sat alone, like normal, and stared up at his leader. His tail flicked as he waited patiently. he was still very tired form teh journey and then going to teh Gathering. He just wanted to sleep but it would be rude to not attend a ceremony.

[Fathom kept a blank face, but realized with embarrassment he hadn't recited the proper words. He scolded himself inwardly and made a mental note to never do it again.]
Clearing his throat as Waterpaw stepped forward, he said,
I, Fathom, leader of NightClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in his turn. Waterpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this clan, even at the cost of your life?"
Waterpaw, eyes glittering, said, "I do."
Fathom nodded, then said, "Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior name. Waterpaw, form this moment you will be known as Watercloud. StarClan honors your diligence and your kindness, and we welcome you as a full warrior of NightClan."
[Fathom rested his muzzle on the top of the new warrior's head and Watercloud licked his shoulder in respect. Fathom tilted his head, blinking warmly.]
"Now...I do believe that there is one more ceremony I should perform.
Leapordstorm has been a warrior for no longer than one sunrise, but I feel she is deserving of a kit, and there is only one option. Plus, we are in need of mentors.
Shiningkit, please step forward."
[Both Shiningkit and Leopardstorm stepped forward.]
"From this day forward, until she has earned her warrior name, this apprentice will be called Shiningpaw."
Turning to Leopardstorm, Fathom said warmly, "Leopardstorm, you are ready for an apprentice. You will begin Shiningpaw's training.You have shown reserve and calm. And you are now ready to be a mentor."
[Leopardstorm and Shiningpaw touched noses.]
Nodding, Fathom said, "That is all for now. We are strong, my fellow warriors, and NightClan shall show its strength through the trials to come!"
[Stepping down, Fathom shook his pelt. He looked around once more for Nightpaw.]

Waterpaw needs a bit of cheering up...I can't stand to see him so down all the time...
[He sighed, emerald eyes sweeping the camp with his gaze. He loved to see all the cats slink and peer out of their dens to watch Clan meetings and ceremonies. A large dark figure in the crowd attracted him. He brightened, ears perking, as he saw the medicine cat pad out of her den.]
Hauntedheart! Maybe I should-- [Honeykit instantly slunk back into the shadows as he saw the look the black she-cat was giving him. That glare had all the fury of the Dark Forest combined. He flattened his ears, feeling a ripple of fear shudder through his lithe golden body. Maybe I should just try to become a warrior instead...She'll kill me if I even confront her about the topic of becoming her apprentice...And I don't want to upset her...That's the last thing I'd want for any of my Clanmates...
[He swallowed hard, remembering the dream that his mother and sister had sent him just sunrises ago. He couldn't give up on his dream, not yet. But how could he achieve it with Hauntedheart's cruel rejections? Honeykit forced himself to look back at Waterpaw, avoiding eye-contact with the smoky gray she-cat. He pricked his ears, trying to hide his fear as he watched Waterpaw recieve his warrior name, "Watercloud". The cats of NightClan didn't even have a chance to chant as Fathom appointed Leopardstorm as Shiningpaw's mentor. Honeykit breathed in, ready to shout their new names with glee, though the memory of Hauntedheart's chilling glare made his tail quiver in terror.]
“W-Watercloud! Shiningp-paw! Watercloud...”
[He mewed pitifully, eyes falling to the ground as he trailed off into deep, fearful thoughts. Did he really look like such an idiot before Hauntedheart? He coughed softly, his throat feeling as if it were being clawed out. Taking in a shaky breath, Honeykit glanced up. He silently watched NightClan yowl and celebrate the new warrior and apprentice with his own head precautiously low.]
(( @Mist: ...How will he ever learn to please Hauntedheart? xD Just wondering...It seems impossible, so far. D: ))___________________________
