"Moya...don't be sorry. You didn't do anything wrong." Making sure it was safe he moved over to her branch, knowing it would hold all three of them as he wrapped an arm around her. "Let's just go home."

Moya nodded and held Shilo tighter, quickly moving away from Nik and started to go down the tree. Her body moved smoothly down the tree with Shilo in her arm, not ever once looking down until she reached the bottom.

Smiling slightly he simply stepped off of the branch, shooting straight down. The air around him made his hair shoot up, but when he landed on his feet it fell immediately. "Alright, let's go."

Moya just started to walk. She didn't want to shift, she didn't want to run, she just wanted to walk. Feeling a little more human again was her goal on the way home. She reached out her free hand and took Nik's looking up at him with a soft smile as they walked.

Smiling back he used their hands to pull her closer, letting go of her hand and wrapping an arm around her waist. "Let's not do this again for awhile."

Moya nodded and looked up at him. "I won't run off again alone, I promise."
Shilo shifted in her mother's arms and jumped down onto the ground, walking with them and staying close, but wanting to walk herself.
Moya smiled down at Shilo and then back up at Nik. "I love you. I love you both." She stopped them a moment, placing a gentle kiss on his lips before continuing on home.

Grinning he stopped them again, kissing her back but deeper than she had him and stroking her cheek, leading her home again. "Shilo, don't get kicked. I don't look down when I walk."

Shilo moved over to her mother's side, knowing that every once in a while she looked down.
Moya smiled and to resist stopping them again. She had her arm around his waist and started to hum as they walked.

He could sense that she wanted to stop and smiled, moving fast. Before she could take another step he lifted her up, pinning her to one of the trees and kissing her deeply, mindful of Shilo by his feet. He had been joking, he wouldn't step on her. And now his hunger for Moya was growing even more.

Moya held back a moan and wrapped her arms around his neck. He wasn't helping in getting home, but she didn't care.
Shilo sat down and yawned, looking up and seeing the lights of their house. "Come on daddy, we are almost there. I'm hungry and tired."

Saved by the kid. If he had held Moya there any longer he would have kept her there, trees be damned. Nodding to Shilo he pulled away but kept his arms around Moya and holding her up, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Here that? We're almost home."

Moya smiled and was a little shocked at the sound of Shilo's voice in her head but Nik did that every once in a while too. She looked up at him and had her own glitter in her eyes of her want and need. "Then lets get moving."
Shilo nodded and yawned, standing up and walking off without them. If they wanted to stay, fine. She was hungry and tired and she would take care of it all herself if she had to at this point, ready to eat a horse.

Winking at Moya he set her down, holding a finger to his lips and going up behind Shilo silently, scooping her up and making her shift back. "And where do you think you're going? You can't use the stove, you kind of need us." Still smiling he kissed her head, taking Moya's hand and starting for home again, now stopping until they were inside and setting Shilo in her high chair. "I'll cook something up real quick."

Shilo sat there and yawned, playing with her hands to keep her awake until after food. She looked up at her mom and smiled happily.
Moya smiled back and kissed Shilo on the forehead. "You are such a smart little girl." She smoothed out her hair before sitting down at the table.

Twenty minutes later Nik came to the table carrying two bowls of Ramen, setting one in front of Moya before putting another in his spot. Going back to the kitchen he got a third, smaller bowl and put a few ice cubes in it, making sure it was cool enough before setting it in front of Shilo. "Let's see if you can eat these without getting them everywhere kiddo." Handing her a baby fork he took his own and stuck it in his noodles, twisting the fork and lifting it up again when the noodles were wrapped enough that the broth wouldn't go anywhere, taking that bite and smiling.
