Catherine smiled, "I haven't the faintest clue, just instinct I suppose," she smiled her wolfish smile.

Mist nodded, a smile on his lips. "Well...so is this." Kissing her back, Mist held Catherine close. Parting, he muttered. "Hm...feels right for some reasons..." It was to himself, spoken soft and low.

Catherine smiled, "Instinct has its way," she said, hearing his last words she smiled, "It does," she kissed him on the cheek.

Rubbing his forehead he glared at her. "No. I don't want to distract you while you do your 'job.' I might even get in the way, even though I would promised it." He gave her a quick kiss on the cheek.

Dusk rolled his eyes, "I'm just saying. I don't know when I'll be back. I tend to stay out for a while, and I don't want you worrying over me, and then barging in while I'm....cleaning....someone's home." That's what she and Mist had called it. But, what Dusk was really worried about was her second job, the one that no one knew about. Zaine had guessed about it, but had never asked Dusk about it.
Thank Goddess...
Mist grinned, "Hmm...The wolf doesn't mind being around the small fox?" The irony of this was, as a human, Mist's 5'11 form was anything but small. His fox form was quite small, even for a fox...though he would never admit it...

Catherine chuckled, "I am surprised the fox hasn't scampered away from the pressance of a wold," she said.

"Eh," Mist shrugged. "I don't scamper." But he grinned at Catherine. "Plus... I've seen the wolf without the fangs...and she's quite nice..."

"I'll have plenty to here to keep my mind busy. I promise." He kissed her forehead and stepped away from her. "Just make sure you come back with all ten fingers and ten toes."

This made Catherine giggle, "That is nice to know," she said, "But the girl still has her fangs... just not exactly the same kind," she opened her mouth to reveal her canine teeth enlongating, "I am not just a werewolf, but a vampire too."

Raising a brow, Mist looked at her teeth. "Ooh pointy..." Smiling, he shrugged. "I'm nothing fancy, just an Animagus..."
Dusk rolled her eyes and kissed Kyoshi. "I'll try...." Putting on her trench, Dusk began walking out the door, knowing full well that tonight would be... interesting.

Maybe he should have gone with her. He didn't like letting her go out at this time but then again, it would do his some good to learn not to sufficate anyone. He sighed and went to take a quick shower. Afterwards, he went into the kitchen and got out another cig. These always kept him company and kept his thoughts from wondering. They always seemed to relax him. He missed them. He missed his Kiseru the stupid rogue Seraph broke. Thinking about that he remembered Gambler. Maybe she had something and left a message. Walking over to the cell phone, he felt something forbodding enter him. Raising a eyebrow at the notion, he picked up the phone and began to listen to the two voice mail.

Sighing, Dusk shut the door. She knew that something bad was going on, mainly because of the job and the date. Today was the day of a job that she and someone else had been planning for months now. Pulling up her mask, Dusk went into the shadows, meeting up with her partner, not Mist, but another guy.
Talon.

Kyoshi listened to the messages over and over and over again. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. It was nothing. To Seraphs, that was a code that belied that something was wrong. The second one was just as disturbing. It was only one word. In the ancient language. Kyoshi dressed up in a slick pin-striped suit and then headed out with a cig in his mouth. It looked like he too was going out. At least Dusk was away from him to be hearing bad news.

"So, you really think we can do this?" Dusk was sitting near a man that looked like Mist, just without the marks. "Yeah. I do." He grinned. "It won't be that hard. Use the shadows, I take it from the bottom, and it's ours." Nodding, Dusk shook hands with Talon. "Let's go then. The night's fading..."

Kyoshi had caught up with Gambler. They spoke in whispers, looking around. Kyoshi and his infamous scowl was back on his handsome features. "Casanova isn't telling me something. I would have just taken it from his mind but that would be too risky for me." Kyoshi frowned at her. "You can't do that. You could die from it." Gambler shrugged. "We have to go sometime right?" Kyoshi nodded to the truth of her words. Warriors of the Almighty indeed. They continued to walk, looking for game in the alleyways.
