((Time trippin'!))
William awakened to what he thought might have been a sound at his door. Then he remembered that he had a standing request for the guards to wake him in the morning. "Guah, damnit..." He grumbled as he pulled his pillow over his head. He sighed and then pulled the pillow back down and rolled out of bed. Will dressed quickly, armed himself, and headed out. He mad his way through the halls of the dormitory building to Kiro's room. He knocked on the door, and after a minute with no response he decided to try the handle. "Kiro, get up." He called into the room when he found the door unlocked. But upon closer inspection the room was empty. "Hmm, must've headed down for breakfast already." Will said to himself. Next he made his way to Mathias' room, having to stop and ask for directions since he'd never been to Mathias' room before. He knocked on the door again. "Mathias, you in there?" He called. "Time to get up!"

Mathias groggily opened one eye as someone began pounding in his door and calling his name. He grimaced and slid out of bed, his eyes feeling like they were full of sand. How could it be morning already? He was sure he had only just closed his eyes. He pulled the door open and supported himself between it and the doorjamb and glared at William standing there,"There had better be an army of fiends at the gates, William. A reeeaaaally big army."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Drustwn ignored the incredulous look the gate guards gave him when he showed them his Citadel issued dagger to gain entry. He knew he must look the vagabond in his travel stained clothing, but did they really expect a beggar to claim he was in the Corps? He hitched his pack a little higher on his shoulder and grumbled as he walked through the grounds. A few people eyed him curiously, but no one approached. Just one more Hunter returned from a mission it seemed to them he supposed. He found the building he was looking for and approached the desk and the attending officer. Drustwn stood there a few minutes before clearing his throat loudly to gewt the man's attention. The officer sighed and looked up, looking annoyed,"If you're looking for the registration office you're in the wrong place. The guards should have directed you to..." He cut off when Drustwn extended a hand and dropped a tied bundle of papers onto the desk. The officer eyed looked them over curiously before his eyes bulged and he began to splutter an apology. Every piece of paper had a sealing sigil etched onto it. When the officer looked up, he only saw Drustwn's back as he exited the room without a word.

Kiro and Enyo were now a night's ride south of the Corps. and Enyo began pressing for new information about Axis. "Its about time you start explaining a few more things about why you're doing this." Enyo pressured as she held on to Kiro while riding.
Kiro finally gave in and began to talk. "The past few missions I've been on I have realized a few things that seemed strange. The fiend's we have fought have become stronger, overly aggressive, and smart as well. It isn't unusually to get ambushed every once in a while from an insect type fiend, but getting ambushed every mission we go on is unlikely. The fiends' attack style is becoming organized and I know why. My old organization, Axis, experiments not only on humans to make weapons, but fiends as well. They had always been trying to perfect a means to controlling fiends to do their bidding and with my last mission I was on, I am certain." Kiro explained in length.
"How can you be certain it's Axis?" Enyo asked curiously.
"Because they often tested the experiments against me. The attack patterns are the same. I know it." Kiro replied.
Enyo sat silently for a while afterward, she knew Kiro would become irritated if she asked more questions.

"Not yet," William said. "But don't worry, I'm sure we can find one. Now get dressed and let's get this day started. We'll get some breakfast in us, then some training, then after lunch we can head down to the archives and pick out our next mission."
((Grr, short post...))
