Luna sang louder her voice ringing out in the garden soft as could be...

She finished the song her long hair over her shoulders both eyes clear and golden in the sunlight as she turned and spun around the petals falling from the trees in complete bliss she was not concious of anything around her.

((sorry Ive been gone.. I had a bad cold, then had to catch up on school.. BLAGH!))
Izumi scurries about trying to catch up on her chores for the days she missed while she was out with a cold, thankful Umi was asleep so Riko could have the body and help and heep Izumi and Namari company.
Izumi and her babys clean the entry-way, Namari and Riko helping Izumi with the spots she cant reach, Namari getting stuck under a low table once. Izumi could not help but giggle as his tiny feet were the only thing of him visible from underneath the table. Riko almost fell off of her shelf that she was cleaning, laughing so hard at her Onisan (big brother : Oneesan is big sister.. she dosn't have any of thoes).
After helping Namari out from under the table, Izumi decides it's best they do something a bit less dangerious and go to cook (or help cook) lunch, enjoying the beautiful melodies drifting in from the gardens. heart

Popo sat down then rambled, "Luna and I went to Miyuhi's Home of Noodles and Tea. It was fun and yummy! I had this fruit pastry and it was amazing! She's a really, really nice girl! Have you ever met her? You should! I like Luna..she's my very special friend!" Popo smiled a mile wide. You could tell she was beaming with joy. She continued, "Iyasu-san, you should really meet Luna if you haven't already! She's so sweet!" Popo turned and nearly forgot about Yokome. She smiled and looked to her, "Hi! I'm Tanpopo, but you can just call me Popo! You're Yokome-san, right? That's a pretty name! I like that name very much! It suits you because you're so pretty yourself! It's so nice to meet you!" Popo smiled to both of them.

Luna felt strangly happy this day and slipping into Yukiko's room picked up her fan that she'd asked Yukiko to keep safe for her. The red godl and black matched her kimono her mother had given her, one she'd yet to take out from it's hiding place at the back of the storage. Standing infront of a mirror she pinned her hair up so it was out of her face both pale golden eyes shimmering. "I guess I do look like her more." She let strands of her hair down not over her eyes but enugh to accent her face.
Slowly she mad her way down and back outside the fan in her hand. Finding a lone place she opened the beautiful Sensu and danced spinning the fan on her fingers like she had been taught.

Iyasu laughed at Popo-chan's bubbly behavior. She glanced over to Yokome to see her reactions of the visitor's excitement. A smile curled to her lips.
"You went out to Miyuhi's Home of Noodles and Tea? I've heard they have delicious food there." She paused for a moment as Tanpopo turned her attention to Yokome, "Luna, you say? I have not seen her around. Hmm . . . I'll look for her later. Anyway . . . to the reason why you are here!" The smiled to the girl that she had known as a maid, "I've been thinking and discussing with Yokome-chan about who to take on as a younger sister."

Hiroko returned to the Okiya promptly once she had retrieved Popo. She got a rag from the kitchen and began to clean all the shoes by the front gate. There were probibly about 30 pairs, it would take her the better part of the morning. She sighed and blew her jet black bangs out of her eyes. After cleaning the shoes she had to polish the wood on the shoes. Once she had finished that chore she returned to the ktichen to see if there was anything else that she was supposed to do.

"I know there are plenty of maikos around here! Sasami, Luna, and probably some others! I haven't met anyone else, but I'm sure there's more! Are you going to ask Sasami? She's awesome! You've met her, right? Seeing as you have not met Luna yet, you probably will not ask her, although she'd be an awesome younger sister! I love them both! I'm excited to hear you're younger sister hunting! Whomever you choose as your younger sister will be lucky to have you! I know Yokome is!" Popo smiled blissfully unaware of what Iyasu was hinting at. She was young and did not always pick up on the small things. Iyasu would have to spell-out what she was trying to say for Popo to understand.
((BTW: I will be either gone or sparsely here until Sunday (the 16th) because I will be in New York! Yeah! heart ))

Iyasu-san glanced at Yokome a few times, and Yokome simply gave a grin back to her Onee-san. 'Yes.' she said repling to her Onee-san. 'I am very excited that Iyasu-san is taking on another younger sister. Also, I myself, have never visited the Home of Tea and Noodles but it sounds quite splendid.' Yokome said, giving her Onee-san another smile.

((OOC: I'm back from that long hiatus!))
The futon felt a little hard when Akako woke up. She had to stand up with an aching back, and also had to live with it for the whole day. Akako scrubbed, wiped, swept, and cleaned, which just made her back ache more. She finally had the option to take a break, and she decided to spend it sipping on a nice hot cup of tea.

After Akako enjoyed her tea, she already felt a little sleepy. It was already night, and she had done a lot of cleaning during the day. On her way back to her bedroom, she passed by other maids. She couldn't help but notice the new maid, so as to make her feel welcome, greeted the new maid with a smile.

Iyasu laughed and shook her head. As she watched the two maiko chat, her decision was finalized. It seemed that the two girls would get a long well enough with out any trouble.
"Tanpopo, I'm sure that Sasami and Luna will find older sisters eventually, but the question is do you have one?" She asked gently.

The newest addition to the Okiya was late in getting up. Not a good way to start the career, not at all. Reiko dashed to get started on her duties, before she realized, she had no idea what they were. Having been so rushed to get up, she had not properly tied her hair back or put on her indoor shoes. Blushing to herself for the time being Reiko rushed back to the maids quarters and fixed herself, so she would at least look presentable should anyone call on her. Once she was set, Reiko again made herself known, as she stood in the hallway, obediently awaiting orders from one of the higher ranks. Naturally as she stood there, playing with the ends of her hair somewhat, Reiko was dreaming... she wondered what it would be like to eventually be a Maiko... and then a world famous Geisha...

Reijin stood in the hallway of the Okiya, her hands folded gracefully in front of her. She had woken up hours ago and leisurely combed out her ebony hair, fixing it into the same complex style she wore every day, with an ease born of familiarity. After she finished straightening her obi, she meditated for an hour, finding that by allowing herself this moment of tranquility, she could more easily handle the day's tasks.
She had arrived yesterday evening and had been assigned to the Mizunoyuri Okiya, and quickly settled in so she could be ready to start her training this morning. Now she waited patiently for her daily chores. Noticing another maid standing nearby, playing with her hair, she quietly addressed her.
"Are you also new here? I am afraid I do not know anyone here yet," she spoke, looking to the other maid with her eyes only, the rest of her body retaining its pose.

"good morning!" Riko shouts as she hops up into Izumi's arms after sliping on her yukata
Izumi walks sleepily into the hallway, regreting staying outside so long.. the sun hates her.. Sayuri and Namari sit carefully on Izuni's shoulders, makeing sure not to touch her sunburn, Riko sitting in her arms.
Izumi sets the babies down as she spots a couple new maids in the hall. She bows politely "ohayo gozaimasu"
Riko, Saiyuri, and Namari bow to the pretty ladies before starting on helping their mommy with her shores.
Izumi was about to introduce herself and the babies when she hears something crash. Umi (the other spirit that Riko has to share her body with) and Namari were fighting. Izumi rushes over to break them up.
"HE started it!" Umi points to her Onisan(big brother).
"No I didn't! You're the one who hit me first!" Namari yells at his little sister's 'friend'.
Izumi sighs as the two continue their verbal war. "Alright! Alright! Please stop fighting! I don't want to have to buy any replacement parts for 'yall if anything breaks... Umi, why don't you go help Saiyuri with thoes shelves, and Namari, come help me with the floors.. Okay?" Saiyuri smiles sweetly at the two dolls as they reluctantly agree, helping Umi up onto the shelf above Saiyuri as Namari starts sweeping a tight corner that he knows his mommy can't reach.
