Nida took the sword cautiously, removing it from its sheath and giving it a random once-over. Once that's finished, he sheathes it again and attaches the sheath to his belt. After doing that, he bows graciously to the Galbadian Colonel.
Thank you very much for your graciousness, Sir. Perhaps I shall see you again once you have the sorceresses in your power.
With that, Nida turned and departed the Garden, hoping that he wouldn't be caught as he returned to the cavern where the rest of the survivors were encamped and slowly breaking up to descend upon the small port town.

He steps to his underground area via the elevator..watching. This was NORG's chamber before..he'd heard about it, and explored it briefly, but now it was turned into a lab. Several tubes filled with liquid were in this place, each housing a body. The bodies were his works in progress, and he smiles, gazing at each one in turn. How beautiful..they would be the backbone of his force.
He sits himself at the organ like device that was made out of Norg's pod..and begins playing. As he plays, the garden shudders, and he smiles..he's tuned this musical insturment to the control center of Garden and by playing it, he can activate any of its functions. They're still wiring the other things into it using Garden's systems..but he could control the missile turrets now, and move garden. The cloaking device is almost installed, as well as the gun turrets. Those were easy, they just had to be fitted and wired in. The hard part will come now..the Carronade. His ultimate weapon..

He'd gathered them and used his illusions upon them. It was time to play, and he had a feeling it would be a great game. Ah, death was the last great adventure, says the Pan. Well, he wouldn't be taking the last journey just yet. He had judgement to mete out and it wasn't really in his schedule to be dying. He adjusts his uniform top, dusts his medals, shifts his hat, and grins. He was looking sharp. Taking up the Lance of Longinus in one hand, and setting his guns in their holsters behind his waist, he gets himself ready.
His red eyes fall to the units and their readiness. If all goes well, Nida will take care of Morrina and Rinoa and get that out of the way. He frowns. He's got this niggling sensation that something's going to go wrong somehow, and it's in the air strongly that there's another force he wasn't aware of. Perhaps it's the antitype. In any case, he's prepared for most situations. He's in his prime and ready to finish this quickly. Other than Esthar, the SeeD are his final obstacle..and Esthar..he'll handle soon enough. with his right hands in tow, he heads out to his Hummer..
It was time to put the kids to bed. Permanently.

Kai sat silently in the library of Balamb Garden, reading up on protocol. Her gently blue eyes shone up at the books surrounding her, and her ebony hair swished back and forth as she looked around, trying to decide where to start. She gave a weak smile, then picked up a book entitled,' SeeD Protocol: Volume 16' "Awesome," She whispered, "I haven't read this one yet!" She opened the book to page one, and began to read.

Somewhere between pages 436 and 587, Kai realized she was alone. She smiled at the book, then marked it with her bracelet, a black one, with jewels resembling those of her sword. She placed the book on the shelf, way in the back, so no one would find it. She stretched and yawned, then walked to her dorm.
