Colm's eyes grew big as he felt the air begin to shift. "I'm sorry I have to do this..." The vampire kicked Shina in the stomach and sent her flying. Quickly he closed the book and threw it across the room. "Are you okay?" That book is an odd anomaly.... but at least the protection spell is off of it...

Shina was knocked into one of the tall marble pillars with a loud thud. Her head snapped up, her eyes portraying the fire that she had no control over. "I am going to rip your eyes out and force feed them to you!" She shrieked as she flew off of the ground and gripped her neck in her hand, "By the gods you'd better have a good reason for this!" Her temper was not completely her own, though she did have a short fuse by nature. Her emotions were almost as uncontrollable as her element.

Colm sighed, Maybe shes on the rag... The vampire's eyes were a jet black, the mystery was beginning to take control. Do not let it control you... its that damn book, at least now I know why there was a protection spell on it. It wasn't to protect it but us. Colm had been living with two "minds" for a while now. Centuries of multi-personality disorder could kill people luckily the mystery helped with that. He grunted as he lifted Ashe off of him and into the nearest pillar. The ancient one grabbed the book and began speaking in his native tongue. He felt the seal on his brain start to dissolve, the inner beast wanted out. The vampire ignored what his mind was screaming and acted on instincts, he needed to finish releasing the magick on the book so it would be readable.

Shina thrashed around as he held her against the pillar. "Let me go you demon!" She shrieked as she tried in vain to scratch his eyes out with her finger nails.

Colm screamed in agony as he threw the book down. "That was way to close..." He ran over to Ashe and helped her up. "Sorry for the use of magic but the mystery did it on its own. That book, its old all right. The good thing is i have an idea how to release whats inside. But we need someone who is willing to die..." The king sighed, all of this work for an heir.

"Like that's going to happen." She said as her temper began to dampen. "Either way, I'm more concerned about the actual marriage ceremony right now." She picked the book up from where it had been tossed moments before. "But don't forget, we're marrying out of benefit, not love. I don't do love and gushy stuff."

"Love has nothing to do with this. It is just a simple chemical that is released from the brain when the body feels pleasure. It's meaningless." Colm glared at her, he was just insulted. " I say we where black. White is a simple of innocence and I don't own anything white. And i would rather you didn't wear a veil... Clearly you aren't a virgin." He smiled has a note pad appeared in his hand. The vampire handed it to Ashe, "These priests specialize in our type of marriages and can easily fool the crown into believing that its... "true" love." He sat on his throne.

Now is was Ashe's turn to look insulted, her temper wanting to flare. "I will chose to wear whatever color of a wedding gown a chose. And I certainly will NOT chose the color of death!" She looked over what was written on the pad and then glanced back at Colm. "Do I even want to know what 'our type of marriage' refers to? It's not like anyone will even need to be fooled. Any of the smart royalty would realize that this is out of convenience, nothing more. And if they were told that we were doing it to prevent further strife then who cares whether or not they think it's true love?"

"Don't temp me Ashe, you are just to easy to kill. And white is out of the question. Plus black suits you more, you're an old bitter woman." Colm smirked grabbed the book and started to walk away. "By the way, I want you out of my room as soon as possible." He created a fire ball to imply what would happen if she didn't.

She ignored the fireball. "I will do no such thing you weak vampire." She spat the last word. "Incase you forgot, I am immortal in ways you are not. You may live forever unless killed, but if I am killed I will be reincarnated in time. Spat back out of the void." She walked towards the doors as the other side of the room and turned back to glare at him. "My wedding dress will be the color of blood and the veil like a spider's web. It's not up for debate." And with that she slammed the door behind her as she made her way to her room.

"Be your body, I've always liked Shina better than Ashe." The vampire smiled, a warm smiled and walked across the hall and opened the door to the second biggest room in the place. "Seems like I'm about to remodel this place."

"Be living then." She said indignantly. "It's not like I can exactly get rid of all my habits." But regardless she fell more comfortably into the mindset of her newest host. "Remodel all you like, it doesn't matter. But I am curious as to how our nations are faring against one another. I haven't been to water, how did you leave it?"
