Sonya could have never have beaten the Kaleesh on one-on-one combat. Even if she wanted to, she would have had to fight through numerous guards and his most elite fighters, brainwashed to defend him with their lives. However, a week in the hospital, plus the week to wait for cyneticus helped the umbaran immensely. In two weeks, she had been able to sway nearly thirty percent of the elite guard, juts by being around them. Matser Tos's cruelty seemed immense in comparison to the more gentle hand that Sonya was waving around. These traitors would probably be executed as soon as she had the chance. They were weak, too easily swayed by effeminent charms. But all in due time.
Lord Cyneticus had taken immediate action to attack the Kaleesh with his drone fleets. While Sonya was supposed to be investigating Nakara, Cyneticus was not entirely pleased that the so-called God of War was doing so poorly in the Salient. Plus, another 'lord' taken down woudl only expand his dominion. Karah was not doing any better than his former commanders in the area, and slow at it as well.
When the dropships landed, the cyborg sith had made sure to take down the defenses and anything electronic. The fight was forced onto the kaleesh to use natural skills, which were no match for the technologically enhanced invasion fleet that cyneticus brought. It was admirable that he had lasted so long, but unluckily he was caught in a blast from a bomb. Ironic, really, that the armor didn't protect him as well as he thought, but the former armies of Darth Oderus were more loyal to the council than originally thought, as Karah found over half his forces turn on him in the name of cyneticus, and even a few to the apprentice. While he was enraged, he had been caught completely defenseless, and the only person he could trust was himself.
The cyborg had overcome Karah, but instead of killing him, the cyborg took him in carbonite, as a trophy to be placed in his private chambers. His technology was not to be made fun of, or taken lightly, and this icecicle would be demonstration of that.
"Miss Kai'zer," he announced, as the dead were cleaned away slowly. "You are in command of the Salient now. I will send some help your way soon enough. And don't forget to undo Nakara. He will be no doubt impressed by your abilities to take down Karah, and will come to you. Everything will go according to plan."
As the shuttle left, Sonya pondered those words, as she looked at the men around her.
"What are you standing around for? We've got an area of space to take over, and a system to regain!"

"Looking good so far. Are you a natural? Flyer, I mean," Ritt said, catching himself as he made several simple turns more. "Enough of this nerf-footed stuff. Bail out if you can't keep up and we'll make it easier. Best learning comes from experience."
Ritt went straight into an immelman, pushing the throttle to 80%. He didn't give a chance, making a hard right bank and cutting thrusters back to 30%, to make the angle sharper.
"Honestly, I kind of hope you can pick up on this stuff, so that we can get really get into something fun. You know that the wingman doesn't fly behind his mate, but rather in front or at the side? It means you have to be able to maneuver just like the flight leader, so you probably should get used to this as quick as possible."

From a rooftop nearly a kilometer away, Pash stared out across the sprawling fortified metropolis through a small pair of macrobinoculars, watching the spaceport with a frown. Behind the small raised wall that marked the building's edge, Ardee sat in a crouch, as still as a statue and seemingly staring into space. The two remained quiet for some time, until Pash directed a question towards the Gynoid. "Hearing anything good?" He asked. "Yeah." She said. "They're increasing security around the hangars and spaceport. Doubled guard patrols, extra shifts-they know thats where we'd be trying to get out at." Pash's frown didnt cease."So much for outright stealing one. They'd lock us down with the tractor beams before we can even start up the engines. Now we either have to steal a military craft or hijack a freighter midflight..." He shifted the Macros view and looked to the control tower. "To increase our problems we're going to have to steal weather traffic data. Flying off this stormy world without knowing the conditions would guarentee a quick return to the planet's surface." He pulled the macros from his face and slid down behind the wall to think. "Figures. Things are never as easy as I'd like."

"Mandalorian Ship, Sabertooth." The Comn Officer stated, not interested in trading niceties. "This is the Ashla-Class Dreadnaught Ashla of the Tett Expeditionary Force. State your intentions or be considered a hostile."

“Me? A natural, possibly. I’ve always loved to fly.” Aurora responded over the com as she followed him thru his last set of turns, but when she saw the thrusters of Ritt’s fighter flair up her hand pushed the throttle control forwards and she pulled back on her control yoke, pitching her fighters nose up to keep pace with him. At the apex of the loop Ritt’s fighter straighten its course and then banked had to the right. As Ritt’s fighter winged over Aurora thru the stick over and hit her rudder, her fighter careened over into the turn and she chopped her ship’s power and pulled the stick back into her chest to tighten her turn as she tried to stay with him.

"Isn't this the first time behind the stick of a ship though?" He asked, leveling the craft out and letting Aurora catch up. His chrono was beeping at him, as he turned it off, and 'looked' at his supplementary student and wingmate.
"We'll have to take a break for now, the convoy's about to jump in. Turn on your active sensors only after we start engaging. Best to not let them get a chance to know what's going on."

“Just because this is my first time being solo behind the stick doesn’t mean that I’ve never enjoyed flying before.” She said as she pulled up along side Ritt’s red fighter. “I often helped Master Gohgei in piloting his ship the ‘Warriors Soul’ when we traveled off planet. But that was a light transport, not a starfighter.”
“Roger that.” Aurora powered down her active sensors and few other non-essential systems as she settled in to wait for the convoy drop out and Ritt’s fighter squadron to engage.

Both sith lord and playfull master; calliga teasingly blushed a loose hand under siren's chin. "Oh, yeah. Better not fail; you'll be screaming all night... heh. Hmm, maybe you'd better not succeed, either. " Calliga said with a smirk. "well, go ahead then-but if you get into trouble, I've no intention of loosing my new pet. My saber will not be far behind." Calliga stipulated, pointing a finger at Siren. "So, whilst you go out and play the succubus... what should I do, what should I do...."

What a rude little aruetise... My intentions are friendly, Ashla. I was on my way to seek employment with your Merc Operations and I could never turn down a good battle. While we're chatting, May I be so bold as to request an audience with whomever does the hiring for your Expeditiary Force?
Koren would talk to them if the wished it, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to engage the enemies he was now within firing range of. He quick ran a sysnapse of all his systems and all lights were green. So, he flicked a switch, turning his cannons from 'dogfight' to l'ong-range', and he let loose a few well placed shots at the first bunch of idiot pilots flying in close proximity to eachother, while he was still out of their firing range.
As soon as his shots were off, the enemy fighters scrambled, but he was lucky enough to have clipped one of them. He quickly switched his lasercannons back to 'dogfight' and engaged with the five fighters, for the control of the drydock.

Ritt stayed quiet, and shut the engines down while he waited in perfect silence for the convoy to drop out of space. The six fighters patrolled around as the train of ships dropped. Blue blasts fired almost instantly, as the ionization of the first few shuttles crippled the momentum of the caravan.
"You can turn on the sensors now. If you want, you can fly around and see how things change on the scanners, as long as you don't interrupt the other fighters."

“Affirmative lead,” Aurora brought up her fighters power and keyed the sensors to life. Content to stay close to her wing mate she studied the skirmish on her sensors as the fighters drove home with their attack. She had to admit that the light show was beautiful as it was deadly. “But if it’s all the same to you I’ll just stay tight on your wing for now.”

"The missions will probably get progressively more difficult. If we keep raiding like this, the convoys will gain escorts, and when that happens, you'll find the entire squadron requires more help. We'll watch your six though," Ritt innocently replied. After a short pause, he added, "I mean in a good way."
"You may want to learn how to dock with our rapid exchange system. The faster and easier it comes to you, the quicker you can rearm and refit."

“Better to practice that now when no one’s shooting at me you mean.” she asked, bring up the information about the system on her data pad. She studied it for a moment and shrugged her shoulders. “Nothing ventured, nothing gained.” She said as she increased power to the thrusters, propelling her fighter back towards the Bathurst. “What’s the call for coming in to rearm and reload? I have yet to study that.” She admitted.

"Hmm," Ritt pondered, hadn't considered the fact this idea. "Well, normally before battle, we have a call sheet for potential weaponry and or enhancements we'll utilize in the upcoming battle, and we group 'em in sets. I haven't trained with dummy locks in... quite some time."
The sortie still was flying, but the lack of any escort had meant a quick reroute of the convoy was simple. Back in the safe (relatively) space of the Tett sector, the beginning of the convoy was already set on its way. Only the transports ionized were left around within five minutes, as Ritt thumbed through a small book. The ionized transports would be sent back to the sith, as a warning and cocky return. Ritt had used the time to call back to the Bathurst and prep the crew for some training. They didn't particularily want to do this, but Ritt made quite an arguement.
"Change to the squelch 740, and ask for a group zero. They should understand, I think. I'll sit out here and see how you do."

As the comn officer was about to deny him, Lord Stryder stopped her. "We may have this battle in hand," He said. "but with the war we're declaring, we can not look a Gift Bordock in the mouth. Tell the Mansalorian this:".......
"Sabertooth, your orders are as followed." The Comn officer told the Mandalorian. "Take that Stardock intact. Contract negotiations will be discussed upon the Battle's end. Ashla out."
