Nona might be following them but The Mask of Ice sincerely doubted the girl would attempt to follow them where they were going. They made a left...then a right...straight through the next junction of caves...another left...and then a right through a solid wall.
"Kukuku! Follow us now children!" came his icy voice, laughing in triumph at Nona's attempt to follow. His voice carried throughout the cavern and all the way to were Kaya was gaining again.

Each time Nona slammed her fists into the wall, a crack formed and grew larger with each punch. When Barth started to use Fire Blast, his flames seeped into the cracks and melted the stone back together. The glowing glyph on the wal soon began to pulsate in an odd manner, whispering to Train. "Touch me....touch me...tttooouuuccchhh mmmeeeeeee..." it begged.

Train watched Kaya leave, then glanced around, her fear returning now that she was alone, but forgot it a bit when she noticed the glyph on the wall. Train blinked and walked over to it, Pikachu and Tarath following her. She held out her hand, touching the glyph lightly with the tips of her fingers, then pressing her whole palm against it, hoping that something would happen.

Houndour stopped and growled after the Mask of Ice. A short moment after Barth began Fire Blasting the wall, Houndour decided to try and help out with an Ember, hoping to help with whatever Barth was attempting.

Farther up ahead, many turns ahead, and most likely out of reach of the trainers at the moment, the entirety of the group was gathering, at the entrance to a wide, low-swept cavern. The teams were separated in their large mass, and especially the Aquas and Magmas were casting side-long glances of distrust. They all shied away from the columns for the most part, however, since every minute or so a roar would emerge from the cavern beyond the doors. The sound would cause the very mountain itself to tremble, and the columns in the ruins didn't seem sturdy enough to warrant trust in their solidity...
A cloaked figure was at the head of the group, staring at the ancient writings on the walls intently, studying the figures. He paused for a moment, before looking up, smiling faintly.
"The final pieces to the puzzle are gathering..." he murmured to no one in particular.
Another tremor shook the cavern, this one from a blast from outside. Sunlight filtered through the falling rubble at the far end of the cavern, as a furious Lugia charged forward, followed at a safe distance behind by Sylam and Malys. However, the teams had been prepared, and a quickly deployed series of charges from a set of nets set up, and the Lugia soon found himself ensnared, struggling furiously against the strong cables of the netting. Which only proved more devious as they let loose an electrical charge, stunning the bird.
The man at the lead turned, motioning with his hand, as a smaller group started forward to join him.
Notaro was at the lead, smirking, as a lab tech followed. Two large grunts took the job of guiding a smaller figure towards the walls. At a press on one of the stones from the leading figure, the slabs of the stone walls slid open, revealing a short hidden passageway.
"Bring the bird," came the order, as a surge of grunts separated from the masses to set out to transport the bound Lugia. "We'll have need of it now..."
With that, the group vanished inside the doorways, leading to a spacious cavern in the very center of the dormant volcano.
Inside, the final chapter was preparing to take place.
"Just one left..." the man muttered, placing the jeweled guard on the altar, where the rest of the fragments of the blade lay. The pieces seemed to resonate, even more so as Lugia was brought forth to the side of the cavern, placed into the arrangement.
Circled around the altar were five areas, each with different characteristics. One held a swatch of tall grasses, as a small spring bubbled forth miraculously from the bedrock. Mew sat in a cage here, no longer bothering to levitate, as it sat, downtrodden, as it gazed to the outside world.
Another patch held a rocky outcropping with a swatch of water beneath it. Lugia was deposited in a heap in this corner of the cavern.
Two more areas, side by side, held a small pond of saltwater, and a bubbling pool of lava respectively. The captured Groudon and the stolen baby Kyogre were stashed here, each confined as well.
At the far end of the cavern, a slew of Galactic members were keeping the Heatran at bay, who roared with fury, slamming against the force field that was set up to contain it. After a misadventure with another metal cage, the grunts had found out the hard way that Heatran had the uncanny ability to melt any metal around it. The medics were still trying to clean up the mess from the rampage the legendary had manged before being contained in a stronger, less metallic prison.

Brayden felt himself being led forward, however, his eyes were glazed over almost lifelessly as he followed wordlessly, the fire through his veins taking complete effect as the serum deposited there seemed to control his every movement. Had he been even slightly conscious, he would have been both amazed and outraged to find all the legendaries gathered, and more than a bit frightened to see the majority of the blade in the same state.
However, he would have been even more furious to find Notaro standing in front of him, who seemed to be amused if nothing more. If Brayden had any control over his limbs at the moment, he would have leaped at his throat. But, with the current condition, all he could manage was to stumble slightly as he fought against the grogginess that cast a constant cloud over his thoughts.
His mind was racing behind his glazed look, however. Although that seemed to be fading, as he found his thoughts coming more and more jumbled as the minutes ticked by.

XD) Still in somewhat of a daze from the shock of falling off of a cliff into a river and landing in some foreign cave, Henna didn't see the Rocket charge at him, poke'ball in hand, ready for a battle. As soon as he heard the familiar sound of a trainer's poke'mon appear, Henna turned, battle ready. Harry sneered at his opponent, mocking his unawareness. He sent his Ekans flying towards the trainer, ready to take all of his aggravation out on him, however, just before the vile snake hit its "unsuspecting" target, Henna unleashed his Gardevoir, and poised to trounce his shocked enemy. When the snake hit the wall, Hera immediately took the short lived moment that it'd be stunned to launch her first of many super powerful mental blasts, nailing the Ekans just where it hurt most, the mind {80 hp left on Ekans}. Despite the harsh surge of power it endured, Ekans turned around, used to punishment and launched itself at its attacker with mindless velocity. Biting down hard, Ekans dug its teeth into its foe, hoping to deeply wound it {180 hp left on Hera}. However, as a veteran through many, many poke'mon battles, Hera gathered up mental energy, surging it at one focal point within her mind, then transmitted the sharp, catastrophic blast into her foe, successfully knocking it out.

"Ah--whoaa!" Train cried, as she and her Pokemon were blown back by the sudden blast of air. She landed in an odd pile with her legs hanging over her head, which was on the ground, her eyes staring at the cieling. She glanced up at Nona and Kaya and 'pfft!'ed her hair out of her face, giving a sheepish grin.
"Yo."
Houndour let out a small bark at his trainer's sudden appearance, then walked cautiously over to the new passegway and sniffed at it a bit, yelping and jumping back at the sudden sounds.

Though his Weezing did have a couple of tricks up its sleeve. Reacting sooner than Hera, Weezing began to spew sludge out at the psychic poke'mon, hoping to harm it enough to ready for its finale {120 left on Gardevoir}. Not to be outdone, Henna encouraged his poke'mon to continue fighting, and to keep using its most effective moves. Hera concentrated the thoughts in her mind, effectively hitting another devastating blow on the opponent {150 left on Weezing}. Harry, smirking once more, laughing to Henna that his prize was about to be blown to smithereens, ducked behind a rock, and commanded his Weezing to use Explosion. A bright light appeared and though Hera was smart enough to get out of the way of the attack, she wasn't about to leave her trainer to suffer its effects, and so stood, waiting for the impending blast of energy. The concentration of energy produced by the poison poke'mon began to collapse upon itself, as the gravity condensed, and within a second, there was a massive blast, sending rocks like shrapnel around the small cavern, and flinging two trainers backwards. Hera was able to guard her trainer, but not survive the attack, and fainted from damage. Weezing had spent all its energy on that attack and soon too fell down to the ground, exhausted.

Train blinked, positioning herself so that she was actually on her knees instead of her head as Kaya began walking down the path.
"Hey! Kaya, wait!" She said, jumping to her feet and running after him a moment later. She emerged shortly after him into the cave filled with Rockets, Galatics, etc. etc.
"Ah! What the--!?" She said, Pikachu, Houndour, and Tarath following her closely.
"KAYA, STOP!!" She shouted after her friend, ignoring the multiple teams and grabbing her friend by the shoulder.
