Ravana was personally a bit disappointed that his challenger had failed to do something more impressive. The Kamehameha wave was swift, but comparably tiny. Were User shooting at his ear again, maybe he'd not be so insulted, but even were Ravana to be hit my it, chances were a mosquito bite would be just as effective pain wise.

Instead, the massive ape moved his large hand behind his ear before bringing it back forward, swatting in the vicinity of his ears with the back of his hand to knock the little man away.

All the while, the kienzan were starting to wear away at the barrier around Ravana's tail. This did not concern him greatly though as he simply reinforced the barrier with more energy. A few of the razor sharp discs of energy missed though and sliced along his lower back, stinging like paper cuts. The fabric of course tore in these areas, but they were clean cuts, as befitted the style of the kienzan.

Mani was rather surprised. This guy was pretty fast. Not as fast a Jagan of course, but wow! whee The kick to his face completely caught him unawares, probably because he wasn't expecting it to hurt. It didn't, but that's why it confused him so. Then again, the green guy did get away so it must have been a pretty clever trick. xp

Before he did anything else, the little tyke spread his legs apart, placed both fists at his waist, and summoned up every ounce of energy he had. This guy was really cool, like some sort of superhero! Superheroes were hard to beat up though so he'd better try his best or he might actually lose. sad

Luke was about equally stunned for different reasons. He had just barely dodged an energy sword that popped out of nowhere. He didn't detect a great amount of ki from this individual, nor was there, even for a fraction of a second, a noticeable channeling of energy throughout his body. He pretty much had to instantly reverse his direction from a downward plummet to an ascending backflip to avoid whatever it was.

Showing a bit of concern for not being able to detect when another one of those green things might show up, he decided that the best thing to do as well was power up, and seeing as his partner was ready, he didn't feel concerned with being interrupted.

Mani was now officially PUMPED! twisted His kick off was phenomenal, him not being the most subtle, as he raced through the air, causing a twenty foot wide crater under his feet. He was in the air before he knew it, his entire body encased in a blue aura that seemed to effect every aspect of his body. He even looked bluer. eek

Not wasting any time, he started dashing around like a rubber ball on crack, bouncing off of nothing but air back and forth as he raced past the green guy, taking any opportunity available to kick him in the back of the knee, the side of the knee, the stomach, the face, the back of the head, or either side. If he didn't feel like kicking, he punched, sometimes even clawed, just enough to get maybe get a few stinging cuts in that he could exploit later. Oh yeah. Mani was BAD. a**! cool

Vali however hadn't budged just yet. He and Keno were still staring each other down, neither of them willing to make a move just yet. He didn't think himself swift enough to just drive his arm through the man's stomach, nor did he think his claws sharp enough to sever any vital arteries. He could fire off those razors, but they were pretty small, and swift though they may be, even the slightest movement proved them to be ultimately worthless.

If nothing else he probably should have tried charging up, but the moment he tried, he'd be vulnerable, even if for a brief moment. He didn't want to risk that. He could accumulate slowly under the guise of 'warming up' later.

Jagan was rather impressed. This guy was quick on his toes. Quicker than he originally wanted to give him credit for. That was just excellent.

As his foe raced for him, he began to back away, arms crossed and feet mere inches above the ground. He leveled all trees in his way like they were nothing. He certainly didn't want to be caught unawares and if he stood in the same spot for too long, he knew he'd regret not moving at some crucial moment.

The level of power this guy was able to summon and release at a moment's notice was impressive, Jagan took a rather clean hit from one of those orbs and felt the force of hit accelerate his retreat as he redoubled his effort to breathe from the amount of air that was forced out of his lungs. Thankfully his flight took him out of the cloud of smoke so clean air wasn't hard to come by. He caught himself immediately, planting his feet to the ground, and slinging himself back the way he came. Any orbs that came his way were batted away violently, some exploding due to the sheer amount of force in his arm, but whether he seemed not to understand that he should tone it down or not one couldn't be certain. To either end he wasn't exactly slowing down, even when he was too slow to actually react, which happened about five times before he got down the now clear path.

It wasn't until he was just upon his foe, that he extended his massive, bandaged left fist for the man's sternum. He intentionally waited for the very last moment to extend his fist to reach the point of impact sooner and then close it again immediately after, the technique of the art of two layers. He didn't need to put nearly as much of his own effort into this punch, but it would deliver nearly twice the impact force of his headbutt all the same.

As for Keno, he was just staring at Vali, waiting patiently. He knew Vali wouldn't deliver the initial blow but he hadn't yet charged up to his utmost and under the guise of his Absolute Zero technique he was amassing all the energy he had available to burst through when the moment was right. Otherwise he'd likely be overpowered by Vali very easily for the duration of the fight. He needed some sort of advantage.

His mind was a clear as a cloudless day, and so he technically couldn't be confident that his adversary would be none the wiser for that would require thinking. He wasn't there yet, but he was getting there.

User dodged once more, the big hands trying to grab him at every turn. He decided now to try a different tactic - stay as close as possible. He focused more of his ki into his speed and buzzed around Ravana like mosquito in super-speed. He fired over small ki beams that were designed to sting and numb the body for only a few seconds.

The Saiya-jin Prince then zoomed off as quickly has he begun to zoom around Ravana. He was at Ravana's feet when he decided to move away from the Golden Ape and fired off six kienzans at the beast's tail. He reached the mid-section of the man, firing two more powerful kienzans at his back which would slice upwards towards the head but were suppose to explode at the beast's shoulder blades and neck. User was zooming left now and over the beast's waist - putting a lot more ki into speed as not to be caught in his hands - and then up and along the great ape's right side so that he also wasn't caught in the explosion of the kienzans. As he attempt to get away, he began charging a very powerful kienzan.

The little blue boy had closed the distance way too quickly that Calvin expect. He was smashing at weak points of his body, even clawing at him. The green soldier willed more energy from the power ring's reserve to the personal barrier that glowed all around him but a few attacks still got in. Cal blocked where he could with the ring projecting fast acting, simple shield constructs that looked like nothing more put pure, flat energy that could hold things back. He also ignored Luke for right now - he wasn't attacking, this little snot was. For now, Cal allowed him to power up.

Suddenly, he brought around the green metal lantern. No one was able to tell just what it was made of. Normal means of destruction had, thus far, proved impossible. Heat, blunt objects, they even tried a mortar round once. So it was tough. And hard. And Calvin brought it around as quickly - and as powerfully - as he could to swing it at the little b*****d's head to get Mani away from him while also hurting the twerp.

Epithany's mentioning of vows seemed to have caught the green eyed woman off guard. In fact she was so speechless that all she could say was, "You're married?!" in disbelief before the dialogue carried on without her, leaving her still at a loss for words.

It hadn't occurred to her that any of them might actually have wed, and she wondered what sort of man was lucky enough to catch someone quite as attractive and seemingly knowledgeable as this woman. The simple fact that one had such allure made the serpent sure that her husband had to be one hell of a man also. Either that or love had slapped the hell out of her when he walked by. She rather hoped the former were the case.

"Ah'm sorry t'hear that everyone is so willing to fight for this man. Ah can't honestly say Ah understand it, but Ah suppose were it me, Ah'd do th'same for mah allies as well. They are all Ah've got I suppose," she sounded highly disappointed now, her voice fading to something of shyness. It wasn't that she was ashamed of who she or her friends were, if you could call them that, but rather that fate would dare challenge her by presenting her with such an enemy. It just wasn't fair that they had to fight.

"Ah s'pose that if we do become friends, we will have to forgive one another for our actions. Ah'd much rather you not leave, but if it is your duty to assist your allies, even your husband, then Ah must accept mah obligation as well."

Rising back to her feet, she had an expression of extreme remorse as she opened her palms flat, fingers closed, and extended her right out to Epithany. She couldn't be any more reluctant to do this, but it seemed she had no choice really.

"Terribly sorry."

Recognizing Diana's change in posture the mage smiled amiably.

"Circumstances remain as they are. Though not entirely beyond our control, I still harbor no ill will toward you. Such is your duty and that in itself is commendable. If we both remain amongst the living following all this, I would very much enjoy conversing with you under more amicable pretenses."

Outstretching her hand a bright red great sword seemingly landed nonchalantly in her grasp. Handling the massive weapon as it were but a feather in one hand, the expression on the emerald tressed women's face looked exasperated.

"Throwing about heavy arms like their shuriken is ridiculous. I may have to revoke its use if he continues throwing about my master work as such."

Sighing she draped the massive sword over her shoulder.

"I hope you don't mind. I'd like to return this sword to my husband before we continue. If you wish against it. That is fine as well..."

Despite the lackadaisical nature of her behavior she still viewed her "friend" as a true threat. The injuries inflicted on Jade during her last confrontation were nothing to laugh at.

He was honestly getting irritated with kienzan flying about everywhere. Not because he felt threatened, but because User just wouldn't give up on them. Every time he swung, reached for, or countered this weak excuse of royal blood, the result was always the same; more kienzan. He answered with a simple technique this time, not wanting to bother with all the crap of a fly buzzing around throwing razors at him.

The so called 'Prince' started flying about, and since Ravana had already figured out what was going to happen, he just let go one huge kiai barrier. It took a lot more energy than Jagan would have used, but that was because this wasn't exactly a perfected technique he was making use of. He had to endure the trouble of combining his kiai with his master of energies ability. Were it not for that, it wouldn't have worked at all.

The sphere would erupt from his 50 foot frame to a full 70 feet from end to end. This left him temporarily suspended a mere ten feet over what was left of the ground beneath him, but he landed immediately and waited to see what would happen next.

BANG!

"Owwwww!" crying Mani grabbed his the crown of his head in both hands and backed away. He wasn't going to be too sore from it, or even bruised, but he was still a kid and when having fun, any amount of pain usually was just a downer on his good idea.

Luke was in on him the moment Mani fell back. He was watching Mani bolt here and there, but not once had the man's shield produced any sort of signature. That would definitely make things difficult.

Nonetheless he started off as swiftly as he could, but he wasn't quite on spar speed wise compared to Mani. There was consistency though. His approach however wasn't to go bouncing off the walls as it were, but rather to just pound into the same general upper body area, actually allowing this man with the lantern to put up a shield if he wanted. He wasn't initially trying to assault him, but testing the durability of said shield. If it had a breaking point, that would be great.

"Well Ah suppose as of now Ah can't afford t'be 'merciful.' Ah will only allow y't'return that impressive device once I am incapacitated." She smiled rather tenderly as she inched forward as a simple gesture to imply Epithany should not try to run off anyway.

"This may sound kind of funny, but Ah hope you win. It may sound conceited, but Ah'm sure Ah'll manage t'survive victory or no." At long last she set out to do what she had put off for so long. She really had no choice in the matter and she knew it. Just a bit more sensitivity and she might actually have shed a tear. It truly was a heartbreaking endeavor.

She kicked off with such force that the entire bough of the tree behind her either shattered or simply fell when it was no longer connected to the tree. Her speed wasn't all that phenomenal, but it was her strikes that most often needed to be watched out for. Her first, like a snake bite, was her right hand fired like a javelin, fingers extended, to hit Epithany straight over the heart. Quick as it was, the force was supposed to send a sudden jolt to the heart, resulting in an irregularity in pumping, even if just for a moment. Of course, the slightest variation in the precise point she hit could mean the heart would pause, stop, or slowly fail.

Her heart wasn't in this strike, but it was still potentially fatal.

Where was User? In the worst place he ever wanted to be - right under the gigantic a** of a great ape. By the Kaios, that blast was like getting hit by brick wall. Everything hurt. It was a combination of a kiai and his energy mastery, wasn't it? However, User had not lost concentration or his focus - he was still charging his most powerful kienzan.

User was finished now and in a burst of super-speed he got himself as close as he could to the giant tail, but still far enough to hurl the spinning, razor-sharp ki blade with all his strength and speed he could muster. The Prince had no other plan in his mind after that to get the hell away from him once the attacked was launched.

That was it. If User was gonna remain so preoccupied with his tail, he'd give him a reason to worry about something else. He was wasting energy as it was anyway it all these futile attempts and it was getting on Ravana's nerves.

His entire body began to glow with a massive amount of energy serving as a veil and a barrier for his frame. He stood like a golden silhouete in the evening as the kienzan came his way and phased out, simply unable to contend with the large amount of power pulsating from the golden ape.

And then he began to shrink. It appeared he had overestimated how much power he needed anyway and it was very difficult to hit someone, quick though he was, when his opponent was likely to be blown out of the way by the air currents that his large limbs created when they moved.

As his body reduced in size, his head seemed to grow. It wasn't until the golden light began to reach downward that one could surmise that the expansion of his head was nothing more than the lengthening of his hair. Finally he stood again at his base height of 5' 8", however one stark difference was that his hair, though still cornrowed fell much lower than it had originally. In fact, his power was also several times greater, even than it had been as a Super Saiya-jin at level two.

The man stood at level three with more than enough power to spare still. His browless eyes gazed with a deep intensity at his would be tail remover. His frame was now so dense with muscle that sparks weren't flying off of his body to contain his power. Maybe now he could have a bit more fun since things were 'fair' again. If not, he was gonna just have to find away to dismember this guppy and go find something more fun to do.

Mani was out for now. Luke was in. Ding ding. Round two.

Luke was fast - not so much as Mani but still insanely fast. The man was like a bullet or a rocket, heading straight From his green power ring came a new shield, shaped something like a modern ballastic shield used by riot teams, SWAT teams, and other law enforcement special tactics groups. It was big and green and Cal put all his focus into it. Luke hit it - hard. He felt it bend - felt his will bend trying to maintain it.

"I. will. not. BREAK!" But the shield did - into a thousand shards. Into a thousand razor-like shards. That would rain into Luke like hot molten metal slicing past him. Cal didn't know if it would work, he hadn't fought ki warriors before, but he hoped it did.

Luke was rather pleased with himself. Not only had he managed to break the shield, but it didn't require a great deal of effort. Maybe it weakened over time if one just persisted on it or something. Or maybe his last hit really was just the breaking point. He didn't have much time to think about it.

Crossing his arms over his face and curling up a bit, he was suddenly bombarded by hundreds of tiny razor sharp somethings-or-other. So he hadn't broke it after all. It was just a ploy. And now his clothes were ruined and his arms, legs, and parts of his abdomen were all cut up.

Regardless of whether the lantern guy noticed or not, these cuts seemed to be healing rather quickly. So quickly in fact though, that it might look as though the green shards hadn't pierced his skin. It all depended on how much attention he was paying because it was either that -

- or the double heeled kick that Mani had prepared for the back of his head as revenge for hitting him with a darn lamp! evil

Good. Now things could go back to actual fighting. At SSJ3, Ravana was now normal-sized and that that meant User could go back to conventional tactics - like hitting his enemy until he stopped moving. The Saiya-jin Prince decided to close the distance between them so that they could actually physically brawl. User loved ki blasts as much as anyone but he enjoyed actually hitting someone more than anything else. Perhaps that was just the way Saiya-jin's were.

User swung with left uppercut. It was a faux attempt to make contact with him as the Prince appear behind Ravana, right hand full of concentrated ki but not enclosed within a fist but held inside him's open palm. He swung it to the side of his face and let go with the blast. All the while, User attempt to grab the man's shoulder to keep him firmly in place.

Sighing outwardly she shifted immediately into the Seiryuu kata, brandishing the Beastman's fang in one hand with Dionysus in the other

"I thought so..."

Timing her movements, the mage rushed forward parallel to her opponents attack, her form spiraling forward in a corkscrew motion. Parrying the attacking arm with the staff, the resulting momentum whipped her torso about allowing her to swing the flat of the great sword towards Diana's back like a paddle. Whipping about in mid air she landed on another nearby branch.

Calvin was paying attention to the fine details. But his mind worked like crazy now. Whatever those military fools did him had given him genius-level intellect. His mind could multitask incredible amounts of thoughts at once now and it processed that information a thousand fold faster. He was glad he could - or he wouldn't ever be able to fight like this were you fought in moments and nanoseconds. The fact that Luke could almost instantly heal like that was interesting and if he ever got the chance to look at his files - well he would just love to reverse-engineer something like that! His company could make billions of dollars off it!

That thought process died quickly enough as Mani kicked him in the back of the head. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Cal felt a sudden hate of kids as he hit the ground, rocks tumbling on top of him. The green outlined man sudden bursted from the Earth like a rocket. His newest construct was a green AK-47. It was a beautiful weapon - if you looked close enough you could see though every working part and peice in the weapon made of green light. He fired it and it fired green bullet-like constructs. They weren't regular bullets even though they looked like it. They were faster and - he hoped - just as powerful as their energy beams. They would explode violently on contact, not pierce the flesh like normal bullets. Calvin noted that the weapon had no recoil like a real gun, which was a great bonus.

Ravana wasn't going to be caught by such an amateur trick so soon. Before User could get his right hand halfway to the side of his face, Ravana was already dropping. Bending at the knees he lowered just enough to wheel around the Legendary Saiya-jin, pivoting on his left foot, to execute a a straight right punch directly into his abdomen. The precision of the attack almost suggested that he had seen it coming, though in combat some things were always more obvious than others. It may very well have been one of those such things.

It appeared this woman Epithany was one of many talents, and not one seemed to be at all a flaw to her character. Never before had Diana been so delighted to have one of her attacks redirected, but of course she couldn't afford to be sloppy. Her arm pushed to the outside, and a sword coming toward her from the inside, she made as though to fall, her body all of a sudden much too limber to actually have any bones in it. Immediately wrapping around the bough of the trunk, her body slithered under and back over as she lunged herself, as it couldn't properly be called jumping, toward Epithany, her limbs remaining surprisingly close to her body despite how loose it technically should have been at the moment.

Landing within three feet of Epithany - her bones returned from wherever it is they went - she fell into a low clockwise spin to sweep her off of her feet, which just sounded lovely to her. On the off chance that she succeeded, her rising motion would consist of another clockwise spin as she aimed to catch the woman by the ankle - whichever she could get a hand on - and toss her into the dense forest below.

A gun? This guy could make a gun with energy? No way.

BLAMBLAMBLAM! Exploding bullets? That wasn't supposed to happen. They hurt too. It didn't take Mani long to start dodging those things but the firing sequence didn't allow him to really close in too well. He got a couple of inches, but that was about it.

Finally he just kicked up a ki barrier and rushed in like a cannonball. The barrier would hit the man before the kid was close enough, so maybe he might be a bit disoriented or something when they collided and then Mani could drop the shield and start gnawing on the guy's hand. If he could bite it off, then he wouldn't have to worry about all that green stuff.

Meanwhile Luke wasn't standing by anymore. Ignoring the condition of his clothes, which now had various tiny cuts in it, he began gathering a large amount of energy in both arms. Since this guy didn't seem to use a conventional form of ki, hopefully his ability to detect and measure power was also different, or altogether absent. If so there was a small chance that maybe he wouldn't be so aware or threatened by the huge amount of force he was amassing.

::Moving only a degree faster than the average human athlete - even then only due to his massive stride - the father of the Wesley brothers races as fast as he can through the dense woods. Each step results in a heavy thump, snow crunching, twigs snapping and logs breaking as he makes haste through the wilderness, exhausted and out of breath. For all his strength, he never devoted any time to getting faster, and is too far gone now to get anywhere.

The Knight can sense the immense powers all around him, which is part of the reason he is holding his energy low. He has no intention to fight, despite having a better chance against any one member of this superhuman team of hunters, for lack of a better term at the moment, than anyone else present. Always having seen himself as a healer, Sir Aaron is closing in on the wounded Jade - or Kirra, one should say. Having been thrown into battle to lure Deity out, she's taken quite a beating. Frankly, the eldest Wesley cannot see his youngest child winning his fight. Aaron will have to step in at some point, or his son will die. Then again, Kirra will die as well if he doesn't move it.

Strangely, Sir Aaron is wearing very casual clothing. He's barefoot, wearing black sweatpants and a large wife beater top. His heavily toned upper body muscles look even tighter as he runs this marathon of sorts straining himself to keep from collapsing to the frosty forest floor. He knew Deity was not on Earth at the time that he felt the warriors' attack, and cursed himself the entire way there. Thankfully, things are going a little more smoothly now - only a little, but every bit helps.

A few seconds after Deity and Jagan butt heads, the giant Hykanan spots Kirra and starts to slow himself, gripping nearby trees to turn sharply and reduce his speed. With a few more large steps, he falls to his knees and skids through the snow a few meters, coming to a stop just next to the Saiya-jin. Ducking his head with labored breaths, he wastes no time in raising his open hands toward Kirra, fingers shaking. Within seconds, her bones reform, her wounds heal, and her energy is restored; the Knight's psionic ability is considerable, even outside of battle. Like any respectable Saiya-jin, Kirra's power has risen some degree, though not enough to produce a significant change when she becomes Jade again. Still, she's in better shape than she was before tying her leg in a knot.

Short of breath, he gasps out a few words, palms dropping flat to his knees.::

....m....I'm....sorre'.....I'm let....

::Shaking his head a few times, Aaron opts not to speak anymore without first pausing to breathe even his tail lying flat in the ice behind him. This young generation has too much stamina for their own good.::

User was growing very tired of this idiot. Ravana was proving to be a great fighter but nothing was going stop him. Especially not this low life. User took the jab in the gut. It hurt but he could take it. He had felt worse pain in his life. And now the man was open to User's attack.

It was simple - but somethings the best things were as such. He grabbed at the man's wrists and if they connected he would pull with all his strength to yank them at least one of the arms out of socket at the shoulder. If he was able to do this or not, it didn't matter he also lifted up his legs, compacting them in, and then kicked them out at Ravana's face.
