Namine decided to head to the stream near town. She wandered a bit aimlessly at first but then her ears picked up a sound in the distance. Someone crying for help. Namine moved quickly wondering who it was...Hping it wasn't Maya. When she arrived she saw a girl by the rivers edge and she could smell her blood.
NAmine approached cautiously not knowing if she was enemy or foe. "Are you ok?" she asked from a distance "what happened here?" Namne moved closer hoping the girl wasn't too badly injured.

Lady Harusaki Taisho She was making good time, Haru thought idly as she deposited her sack onto a rock and changed back, rifling through it for food and drink. She was already on the mainland, having crossed the bridge an hour ago. From what she could remember, it was another hour for her to get to the camp. Scarfing down the jerky-like meat, she re-shifted and kept going, panting slightly. She wished that the sun would fall behind the wreckage of Moscow, however it was merely that, a wish. She'd be coming across another land bridge soon, which meant she'd be in Old North America. World-travel at its fastest~*~ Finally, she gasped. She was just outside the camp, arriving in Old New York barely ten minutes ago. I shouldn't have run that fast... I wasn't being chased... I.... ugh... With a soft whimper, she collapsed on the spot, shifting back into her human form. She welcomed the cool darkness of unconsciousness. Maya skipped about town happily as she decided to stay in her hybrid form as her tail waved slowly behind her as she kneeled down to pick up a piece of debris, at first with a bit of trouble. For a beast, she hadn't aquired strength like some other beasts, but she was agile and fast. Never knowing battle, what she was capable of in a fight was unknown, but when backed into a corner, she was a scrappy little thing who fought her hardest. Picking up some wiring, she'd acquired Shinsei's taste for collecting though she used hers for something like arts and crafts of a sort as she placed the wiring in her small pockets and skipped along. Looking out, she noticed a figure passed out a bit of a ways as she moved forward cautiously, biting her thumb lightly in fear that the person may be really hurt and needed help. Moving towards the figure carefully, she kneeled down and looked at the girl, sniffing her lightly but mostly listening for a heartbeat. Placing a hand against her back, she could feel the beating heart as she pulled the girl with all her strength, only managing to inch the female up before setting her against a building. "Um, excuse me...a-are you o-okay...? Hello...?" she called timidly as she looked at the figure with a worried expression. Her first instinct would've been to go get Shinsei, but from the warnings he always gave her about knights swooping in on weak and defenseless-looking beasts, she was too afraid that some might find her while she went for help. So instead, she pulled a small pouch from her pocket where she held a small bit of food for rare occassions and set it in the girl's lap lightly before checking to make sure she wasn't injured.

She turned, looking at the girl. blood ran freely from her palms, and blood coated almost her entire body. This girl couldn't possibly be alive. yet she was. "I-I'm okay. just... just cut myself." she reached into a bag she had, pulling out bandages. She wrapped them around her hands. "it's nothing really serious, i promise." she looked around. "do you know where i could find a man named Shinsei?" she asked. "Someone told me that i should talk to him."

Namine wasn't sure about the girl and didnt want to lead her to Shinsei if it was a trap. "Are you sure you're ok? Listen you sit tight and I'll return with help. Namine headed back to the city in search of Shinsei. She ran to his out of breath. "I Have no time to explain" she said "Follow me there is a girl by the stream who is hurt and asked for you personally."

Iris looked at herself with dismay. She was still coated with blood. She started scrubbing it off, washing herself until a good portion of the blood was gone. but still her hands bled, and she soon re-coated herself with a crimson layer. She sighed, and stepped out of the water. "i knew i shouldn't have cut my hands."she said dejectedly.

Amelia smiled back at Zack and nodded. "You're welcome," she replied, leaning back in her chair. She watched the black-haired girl silently. She watched at the weak smile faded and the girl tried to calm herself enough to go to sleep. Amelia contemplated sleeping herself, but realized quickly enough that she was not tired. She got to her feet and joined Zack at the window. She felt the shuttle rocking a bit beneath her and put her hand on the wall to steady herself. Amelia turned her eyes to the window, looking down. The ruined cities and farmlands and factories passed quickly beneath them, almost as if the scenery was all just a blurred motion picture of the destruction of humanity. "It's a little sad, looking at all of this, don't you think?" she asked Zack quietly, raising her bright blue eyes to look at him.

iris frowned. The girl had probably just ran off, since no one was coming. She started to follow her scent, tracking her to the building where she had went. She muttered to herself quietly, swearing when she stumbled or tripped. but she continued walking.
She looked at the barren lands that surrounded her, the lands that were her home. the city rubble, the iron skeletons of old vehicals, the weeds growing wildly around the scene. She smiled slightly, remembering her childhood, and kept walking.
Eventually, she stopped bleeding. that should do for a while... She looked back, at the trail of blood behind her. I she had led Shinsei to where she was, they could follow the crimson path. She sat down, looking around. She sighed happily, looking at the passing clouds in the sky.
She looked around. Still no one. sighing, she picked herself up, And she continued to follow that girl's trail. "if only, if only...."

Ohh, my head... The half-breed inwardly groaned as she began to stir. Her nose twitched as she came to, scenting the meat and the girl who seemed to be somewhere to her right. A wolf, or what seemed like a wolf-like scent. Groaning audibly, she opened her eyes, only to close them quickly from the bout of nausea which turned her stomach. Never again... her mind growled. "Water," She rasped, shifting so that she could sit up properly, her eyes still closed. "What's your name, pup?"

iris continued to follow the girl's scent until it began to mingle with others. Cityscent. iris ran happily, bounding across the empty zone so accurately dubbed a wasteland. She turned in the streets, feeling, listening, until a voice rang clear in her head. water. She walked forward. what's your name, pup? she walked towards it. "umm... hello? she asked thentatively. She walked forward, coated in blood, holding a waterskin. "i've got water." She handed it to the half-breed.

Startled, the girl's eyes shot open. Apparently her sense of smell was not as reliable as she wished. Staring at the new girl, the hanyou attempted a smile, taking the bag and pouring the clear, cool liquid into her throat. "Thanks... my god, you smell like s**t...." She appraised the girl's bloodied appearance, resisting the instinctual gag reflex at the overpowering metallic scent which she was taught meant 'blood' "What happened to you?"

Kiyoko looked up from staring at the soda can, to see the same little girl as before, now with adorable cat ears and a tail to match. She watched silently as she and Shinsei talked, and couldn't help but let a small "awww!" escape from her lips as the girl closed the door. Hearing Namine say she was going for awhile, she nodded and added a "be careful" as she also closed the door behind her. She went back to the bedroom, and remade the bed she had slept in as well as make sure she had all her stuff in the small bag she carried with her. Now that it was daylight out, the shiny objects that were in the room reflected in the sunlight. She also remade Maya's bed too, for no apparent reason. As soon as she put the pillow on top of the newly-made larger bed, she heard Namine come in in panic, as she had found someone that needed help and for some reason was looking for Shinsei. Why would someone seek him personally? Kiyoko wondered, as she came back to the other room.

Shinsei sat in the same position as when she left, but found himself quickly on the ground in a defensive yet startled pose. "Geez, could you not come out of the blue like that? I almost coughed up my drink again!" he said in a slight wheeze as he got to his feet slowly and dusted himself off. "So what exactly's going on now? Someone lookin' for me?" he asked as he yawned lightly and looked at her as if not too concerned.
Maya looked at the girl and then at the other arrival "Uh...uhm...I'm Maya, but I'm not a 'pup'..." she said in a timid, almost whispered, voice as the sight of the other girl and the blood running from her arms frightened her more than a little. Standing up she looked towards the new girl and took a short step forward "A-are you alright? You're bleeding!" she asked in a worried tone as she didn't know what to really do or say in response to a woman in such a condition. The little girl was beginning to regret leaving he house...
---------------------------------------
"Yeah...it's not easy to admit that we once had to survive in such terrain...thank goodness for the new city." he said as he folded his arms and leaned into his seat a bit and sighed. "To think there are still...people down there in such a mess...it's sad."

[ohhh.. he didnt put the break he usually puts so i got confused]
NAmine told Shinsei about the girl by the river and how she was hurt but looking for him. Namine sniffed the air. "she is nearby..I think shes tracking me..I wanted to tell you first before leading her here..but it seems shes trying to find her way here through me" She looked at Shinsei to see if he understood what she was saying. "Will you got to her" she asked her dark orbs focused on him.
