Ohren simply nodded in response to all of this. He knew what she spoke of. His mind had seen things go by. People and homes pass his life. There were both advantages and disadvantages to living his lifestyle. He could please and entertain with his abilities for one.
Then there was also the fact that he would lived longer than any human. For another few hundred years to come. He would see many faces pas him by in that time, and that thought brought a little bit of depression to his mind.
Sure he would live for a long time to come. But there were disadvantages to that as well. It meant he would lose friends as he lived on. He would see more sadness and grief to come. There would be many things he could look forward to, as well as others he would not.
"Of course. I suppose it's all a matter of how you look at these sorts of things. We see only one side and live in hapiness or grief. Or we can see both and attempt to do something of it. There's only so much one being can do though. I suppose I should simply be happy that I can help here. If I can raise at least one person's spirits with my musik, then I'm happy as well."

Tusae watched the girl and mimicked her when she tilted her head to the side with her dark lashes beating. Curiously she dropped the hem of her dress and looked at her, advancing at her. Suddenly a creek in the floorboards sounded and she jumped back to her corner. She shielded herself from the girl by putting her hands before herself, blocking the girl from her.
She had so many questions and no doubt they had so many answers just waiting to be told. Without sound or movement other than her searching eyes and beating lashes, a small glimmer fell from her eyes. Slowly, almost achingly, it fell making a path down her right cheek. Etching this way and that until it made it to her chin. There it stayed as if time had held still, dangling by a thread until it fell off her face. Soundlessly it landed on her white lace dress, fading completely into the fabric, completely forgotten.
Tusae looked up from her dress to the girl in front of her. Her eyes sparkled, they pleaded for what they could not express, for what could never be said.

Obsidian was surprised again by this girls antics. She was really afraid? The most logical thing to do was to try and ease her fears. That was what this inn existed for, right? That was around the lines of what she had been told, anyways.
A small smile appeared on the bio-machines lips, and she slowly crouched down in front of the girl, being as quiet as she could since noise seemed to frighten the girl. "It's alright, you don't have to be scared of me," She said gently. That was a tear just then, right? "No one here is going to hurt you. We're here to help."

Tusae leaned away from the girl as she crouched in front of her. Her eyes watched her intently as she neared her. Her soft words seemed to sooth her and she relaxed. Sitting on her calves, she felt something ease in her chest. What was it?
Slowly, without thought, she held out her hand towards the girl as her eyes darted back and forth searching the girl’s face. Her eyes sparkled for just a moment as she felt her heart start to hammer wildly. Her breath grew shallower, her head more faint as her hand completely stretched out. Never has she offered her hand to another without the fear of it disappearing. She felt her courage quickly fade as it hovered in the air motionless.

Obsidian smiled as the girl seemed to relax. She reached out and gently shook the girls hand. "See? I don't bite," She said a bit teasingly, trying to further disperse the tension in the air. "I'm Obsidian. What's your name?" She wanted to hear this girls voice, and asking for a name was a perfectly good excuse.

Tusae looked at the girl confused and slightly bewildered about the up and down motion with her hand. After she was done she pulled her hand back, holding it to her. She looked up at her as she asked for her name. She looked to the ground swirling the dust on the ground with her finger. She opened her mouth in an effort to answer her but nothing came out. Her figure slumped after she noticed that nothing would come out of her mouth. She brought her arms to her in an effort to comfort herself continuing to look at the ground. Her blue braid gently brushed the side of her face as if fell from behind her ear.
“Tusae…” Sounded from Tusae after much deliberation, but the noise was soft as if it had been spoken by the wind then the figure slumped on the ground…

Obsidian blinked in surprise as the girl collapsed. "Are you alright? Miss Tusae?" She glanced back at the room, wondering what to do. No one had ever explained to her what to do if someone collapsed. She looked back at Tusae, reaching out and gently shaking the girls shoulder. "Miss Tusae?" She found the girls hand and checked for a pulse. Still beating. That was a good sign.

Tusae felt weak but knew that once the word was spoken it couldn’t be taken back. Her heart hammered in her chest as she woke up from what seemed a daze. She looked at the girl in front of her and smiled, one completely dazzling and radiant as she heard her name spoken by someone other than herself. Suddenly as if lost she stared at the figure in wonderment, slightly tilting her head to the side.

Obsidian sighed in relief. "Thank goodness you're alright, Ms. Tusae, you had me worried. Are you alright?" She asked in concern. "We've got rooms upstairs if you want to lie down. You must be tired, hm?"

Riane walked slowly up to her room. She was still getting used to the place and all the strange people and creatures in it. She pressed her hand against her pocket, making sure her dagger was still there and gripping her quarterstaff as tightly as she could. She came to her room's door. She opened it and dropped her lugguage on the bed. She stared out the window, thinking of how hungry she was. She sat by her stuff, not wanting to move. Eventually, she decided to stand up and walk back downstairs.

Jessica walked out of her elegant first-class room on the top floor of the inn. She stretched and walked downstairs to grab some breakfast. Pinning the "co-manager" sign on her black tank top, she walked into the kitchen and got a small bowl of milk and cereal. She found herself at a table and sat down to enjoy her breakfast.

She walked down the stairs towards the breakfast area. She got herself some cereal, milk, and a grapefruit and sat at an empty table in the corner.

Jessica quickly finished her breakfast and picked a huge red apple to munch on. Taking a small bite, she walked around a bit to inspect if the place was clean and then she walked back to the tables. She glanced to a corner to see a girl sitting there by herself and decided to go 'bother' her a little. She slowly approached with the apple at hand and sat down across from her. "Hello, miss. Are you enjoying your stay so far?"

"Yes, it's very nice here. I'm Riane, by the way." She smiled sweetly.
