Salome stops and looks at the gift and smiles warmly to her "Thanks Chris, for this gift. I will be back with a report soon. in the mean time you guys should relax and take a vaction form your duties. And chris one more thing. Thanks for the gift, I'm sure what ever you gave me I will treasure it." he smiles as he walks off with the gift in hand as he wanders off.

Borus msiled as he watched Chris hand the gift to Salome. A sudden chill breeze caused him to shiver and rub his hands together to warm them up. He watched his comrades through frozen eyelids as the large soft snowflakes began to fall again. Borus smiled, thinking he had never seen many things as beautiful as the way the gentle snowflakes nested in Chris's silver hair

It was a new day, and as life had it to give the people of Zexen some sun, Chris, instead, as suffering in her bed from her rather idiotic standing in the cold in cotton pajamas last night. She felt like Hugo was channeling his True Fire Rune right through her, she felt so hot. Her forehead felt like it was burning, her temperature, she was sure, was high up there. Even trying to use her True Rune didn't help.
And so, she lay in her bed, a messenger on their way to get Doctor Tuta from Budehec Castle. But as they were gone, she felt quite bummed about this. She was somewhat hoping the others wouldn't notice she was out, since as womanly as she wanted to seem these days after the war, she did NOT want to seem weak in front of her own men.
She wanted to call for her butler, but he was out. She only hoped it wasn't to see any of her knights. "What I wouldn't give for some of Louis' chicken soup right now..." She said in a low voice, quickly followed by a hacking fit.
Chris was sick, and she couldn't be any madder about it.

Borus groaned as a beam of bright sunlight fell on his face. He opened his eyes and founf himself staring at the ceiling of his bedroom. Frowning, he rubbed his eyes and tried to wake himself up a little more. He attempted to sit up to try and force himself awake, but he only succeeded in toppling off the side of his bed, taking half of the covers with him. Trying to pull free only got him further tangled in the bothersome sheets.
At long last he tore free of the oppressive bedding and stood up, rubbing his aching neck. As he dressed himself, he walked over to the window and looked out over the harbor. He smiled, enjoying the sight of the freshly fallen snow on the rooftops. The glittering whiteness accentuated the vast expanse of sparkling sea, making Borus remember why he so loved Vinay del Zexay.
He frowned and ran a hand through his messy hair. H couldn't remembe when he had gotten hom. The last thing he had remembered was Chris handing a gift to Salome. He sighed. He must have been tired to not have even remembered getting back here.
The knight sighed in defeat and began to buckle his armor, thinking he would go down to the mess hall and see what there was in the way of breakfast.

(Well, I'm replaying Suikoden III to get reacquanted with Chris' character. So, I might be posting less until I complete the game. I'm on Hugo Ch. 3 right now, with Chris Ch. 2 completed and I haven't even started as Geddoe.)
