i've never tried but i sure as hell thought about it. When i was taking my science final, the first law of alchamisy help me remember the law of conservartion of mass...which helped me pass

I have tried to use transmutation circles befor with a candle and a piece of paper. I really don't know what I was trying to do??(o thats great just burn yuor house down lol) But in real alchemy it's more like chemistry, the combining of metals and elements. I've read a couple books on it, back in the day they really believed they could make a Homunculus.

Mr. Kevin Ryman yeah...Alchemy in real life is just like chemistry...Eccept for a few differences...But mostly theres a bunch of odd looking devices and Alot of flasks...I've dabbled in it...and successfully have removed salt from your avarage sea water...*shivers* it was all green too.. gonk cool, so it does work never worked for me

uchiha_seishin Yup, I almost succeded, but I can't draw a good circle. I actually took Chemistry1 honors for the alchemy 4laugh !Yes, there is alchemy in the course, at least thats what is shows on my text book biggrin . Damn, Mustang found out I stole his pocket whatch, must hide ninja ! thats cool to know im gona be taking that class this year

Flaming Envy i have... it wont work! gonk I also tried to do it in the pool (episode 9- The Phantom Theif) You know ...... Clara was only able to do that in the pool because her tattooed transutation circle allowed her to do so.

ok, i've never tried, but i researched.... the thing is, due to chemical changing, like baking a cake, it COULD be possible, but you would need some kind of device to speed up the chemical change process.... it's all very confuzing..... but if you consider baking a cake alchemy (i know it's not what most people have in mind, but that IS true) then yes, i have, and it succeded WITHOUT a transmutation circle!!!!!

NEWSFLASH: ALCHEMY ISN'T REAL.
I love FMA, but the people that try alchemy in real life are equally as, if not more, annoying to me as people who try Naruto hand jutsus in real life.
It's not going to work. You just look like a ******** dumbass otaku.

I have never tried.... I mean, I am in Chemistry this year...... but trying to do alchemy the anime/manga way is a bit goofy... sweatdrop
unless you are cosplaying... then you are just in character

Yeah, Envy-san is right. Alchemy is real, and the most accepted form of it is called chemistry. But try Barnes and Noble searching Alchemy, you'll find stuff on it. And just read The Little Book of Alchemy or something like that. It tells you a history of it if you don't believe it's real. It's not going to show Edward Elric in it, but it does give the overview that things of the sort are possible to some extent, and that humans are greedy fools who've mostly used it in an attempt to obtain gold, the Elixir of Life, or the Philosopher's Stone. And the same thing goes with ninjutsu. You're not going to see little kids with headbands hanging on trees like bats. But you will find excellent usage of weapons as a means of stealthy kills. And the occasional master ninja using the hand symbols. P.S. Issac Newton was an alchemist!

Not the real type. And pardon my language xD. I guess I didn't make a great first impression here because of that, but it really just ticks me off when people get that obsessed.
