Aubrey smiled warmly.
"It would be my pleasure. I'll guard you until the end of my life, Ms. Irene." Aubrey bowed, and pulled his hood from his jacket over his head.
"But, I need to do some things in this town first." Aubrey smiled, but it was barely visible under the shade of his hood. He ignited a fireball, and opened the door, taking a step into the darkness.
The last thing anyone on the inside would see, were thousands of the demons from earlier attempting to pounce on Aubrey, and then an emourous flash of light.
A tune was heard fading away in the distance... It was 30 Seconds to Mars'- Attack.

Kaori was about to follow him out into the darkness, but the massive amount of demons got in the way.

Irene wanted to follow, but she knew she couldn't fight those monsters. Besides, she had to watch the kids and still had the lunches to make. Irene loved music, and waited until she couldn't see nor hear him anymore before she turned to continue the lunches. On her way, she prayed that Aubrey would be all right. Could former demons even pray? Would the prayer be listened to? She didn't know, but prayed anyway. For not only the safety of Aubrey, but Kaori and Siaxu as well. All her new friends.

Kaori wanted to follow, but decided to close the door before any of the demons decided to make their way in. she walked over to Irene and smiled,"Thank you." Kaori could hear her prayer,'Maybe it is possible for demons to pray and maybe they can go to heaven.' Kaori thought going back to helping Irene make the lunches.

Irene made a small laugh. "I haven't done anything. I don't deserve a thanks. If anything, I should be thanking you for being there for me." ven as she spoke, she worried about Aubrey. She hoped he'd come back safe. She also thought about the kids. While they were all at school, what was she to do? Could Irene hire someone to watch the kids? Would she now have to dedicate her life to these kids? Her road was so unclear now.

A distant note was heard being played(Demonology and Heartache-Atreyu). From above. It grew louder and louder, and then a loud CRASH, and the sounds of childrens screams eminated from the rooms in the hallway. The playing continued, growing slower and softer, until it was barely heard.
Above in the hole where Aubrey crashed, were hundreds of demons, crowding around the hole, kept at bay solely by Aubrey's song.
"Run, children..." Aubrey said slowly, and softly, like his playing. The children hurried out of the room, tears and screams left in there wake. As soon as the children were gone, the playing stopped... And so did the barrier.

Kaori smiled at Irene and knew this time her choice had to be thought out more. she had to decided what she was willing to do next.
All of a sudden Kaori dropped what she as doing and ran tot he hallways as the kids ran out. she helped them get passed and then walked deeper into the hallway.
Kaori called her heavenly staff and had it ready for anything. She couldn't see anything yet, but kept herself ready for anything.

Aubrey came crashing through one of the doors, and into the hallway. He was covered in blood, most of it his, some of it green, and acidic. That blood was also causing more blood.
"CHILDREN! COVER YOUR EARS!" Aubrey yelled, and then, presuming they did, he struck a high note on his guitar. The demons screeched, and then their heads exploded. That much acidic blood caused holes to burn in the wall, and in Aubrey.
Aubrey fell back against the wall, and cried out in pain as numerous burn marks formed all over his body. He turned his head to Kaori, and said.
"Sorry, about the roof..." And keeled over.

Kaori rushed by Aubrey's side and wrapped her dainty arms around him,"Aubrey, Aubrey you have to stay awake, please stay awake for me."Kaori gently and shook him to keep him awake. She let go and noticed she was covered in his blood. She didn't know whether to help Aubrey and get out of here or stop the demons from making more trouble.

"Unnh.." Aubrey struggled to manage a full sentence. "Kaori... Get Irene and the children out of here... Use your staff... The power to absorb the darkness..." He lifted his hand, and brought it down on her chest. "Is in your heart... Believe, and it will come to you."
Aubrey's breathing had become raspy, and slow.
"Leave me here... I'll catch up later. Don't worry..." And with those words, Aubrey closed his eyes, and fell unconcious against the wall.
Leave me here... The words echoed in Kaori's mind.

Kaori shook her head and closed her eyes and whispered,"Delok..."A winged animal came and she looked at him,"Delok take him to safety with me."Kaori instructed and the animal nodded and lifted Aubrey onto it's back.
Kaori nodded and ran to the kitchen and grabbed Irene and told her to follow her. She ran and caught up with the kids,"You'll all be okay. Don't worry."Kaori smiled and closed her eyes and a heavenly light appeared from her staff. Delok was in the very front fighting off demons as KAori was in the back keeping them away.
