Again, Lex turned her concentration for only half a second, "My name is Lex. Who are you?" She sized him up, he was exashuted and he knew this over girl, for he did not inqure about her.

Shaydra whipped her head around and stared incredulously at Luxran. "I was talking about saving you and you're right there! Lex, this is the friend I was talking about."
Suddenly, a slave driver's whip slashed Shaydra and Lex. "Stop talking!" He roared.

Lex looked to the girl for help, "Who are you two? And do you realize that man has fainted, or is close, from exhaustion? Aren't you going to help him?"

"Oh!" Shaydra said as the slave driver walked away. "I just noticed that." Shaydra knelt next to Luxran and pressed a few healing crystals on him. The wounds healed instantly.

Lex watched the crystals heal Luxran and stared at the girl, "What is your name and what are your plans?"

Shaydra looked at Lex. "What should we do now? You know about this place better that I do, and Luxran has his energy back. What do you know about the overlord?"

((well, i thought u were a girl dragon, ya know...in ur human form..oh nevermind...))
"We will probably have to wait for a shift change. When our shift is over, they take us back to our quarters and feed us. Then they let us sleep. They guard our door, but they put the bad guards there, beacuse most of us are passed out and not going to do much. Thats when we could escape."

"Here Luxran, heal yourself," Shaydra tossed the healing crystals to Luxran.
"That's a good plan. We have some friends waiting for us in the cliffs, too." Shaydra looked around. "We should help some of the slaves here out with us. Lex, do you have a special power? I can make my drawings come to life, and Luxran has ninja skills."

"Why were you training to become stronger?" Shaydra asked. "Did you purposely get caught?" she said suspiciously.
"Shift change!" another slave driver shouted. "Go get your sleep, horrible lot..." His whip sang in the air, and the slaves scurried to the sleeping quarters.
