With regards to the Catacombs, it can be anything related to the paranormal, dark side of fantasy or indeed, the dead or undead.

Hey Drizzt! I am up for a thread like that. I still haven't been around the guild yet so I hope you've started it already.
I'm gonna be away for a while for lunch but I'll come back shortly like I said. Also, before I go, I am gonna see the join requests and see if there are any. 3nodding

Ok then, in the course of the last 3 days I have... ...posted in all the sub-forums ...Made the announcement at my user names thread about the contest winners. ...awarded the winners with their respective prizes (this means starting trades). And that's it, really. I'm also trying to figure out if the contest should continue or and if so, what kind of prizes there should be for this month. After all, the members who I thought would post at the user names thread didn't and I was a bit surprised cuz I even sent each of them a PM. I shall return to the user names thread in a while and if there's anything to report, I'll come here as well. Thank you!

*sighs* I'm not sure why it's so hard to get people to post... a few months back I actually sent PMs to every single member (except the regular posters) and begged them to participate, but we didn't get a huge groundswell going. I'm at a loss as to what to do...

I've seen more activity since I gave up caring about the place really. However, that level of activity still isn't quite the minimum level we want.

Yer not alone Jasta! I wasn't sure what to do until I came up with my user name contest idea. I suppose I could try and see if there's something else that might help but other than what we discussed at the storeroom, I am drawing a blank myself. 3nodding
I'm with Mel that I've seen more activity in the guild. Especially from a couple of members who actually wanted to win the items from the contest. It's too bad nobody else got in the spirit of things. Say Mel, would you like to know who was it that helped make the guild a bit more active? I can PM you...

The Medieval-Renaissance Fantasy User Name Contest for the month of March is officially opened!
For more information about how it will be run, please head over to the Fantasy Conference sub-forum and click on the last page of the Fantasy user names thread.
Aside from that, I also posted in a few sub-forums like, the catacombs & the tavern. I also had to look at the members list for my contest but that's another story. I even PMed two members who I couldn't find on that list of members so I hope they reply or something.

I think it's time I disappeared again randomly. The activity's dropped again. Last time, I gave up trying and then people started posting more. Might have to see if that happens again. confused

I think we just need time to recover from the holiday... I was out of town AND dealing with ministry stuff all weekend. smile There's probably exams and stuff going on at school too. Not to worry!

Ok, so here's my report:
After my recent lack of activity (I explained more about this at the "holiday dates" thread) I finally came back and started posting. I left a post at my "User Name Contest" announcing the winner for last month and in a few minutes (or later today), I shall award the winner with her prize.
I also posted at most sub-forums and a few threads. It's pretty cool to see the guild active after me being gone but it's also a let down that none of the members who posted at the user names thread want to raise their post count. rolleyes
So, if there's nothing else I must do, I shall bid you all "adieu" for now. mrgreen
