DarkElf27 Does anyone know where to get a rulebook for Inquisitor? I'd like to give it a read. Inquiditor section of the SG site. I'll just plug a link before more questions arise. SG =I= section: http://www.specialist-games.com/inquisitor/default.aspRulebook: http://www.specialist-games.com/inquisitor/rulebook.aspAnd ******** yes, you can download the rulesbook from their site for free and it is legal. The rulesbook is a two part PDF file, so save it to your hard drive before reading. The Thorians sourcebook is also present, but I advice against the information heavy Thorians it as most people have a hard time with the basics of Inquisitor already.

Thanks. Can you tell me a bit about how the gameplay is, or, put simply; is it closer to Warhammer or D&D?

DarkElf27 Thanks. Can you tell me a bit about how the gameplay is, or, put simply; is it closer to Warhammer or D&D? Warhammer, D&D is for fignuts who can't take defeat when it comes for them. It's Warhammer, but with more sophisticated rules and more depth of play. My only advice: No frost blade, no plasma weapons and NO damned power armour or any powerful wargear in the first games if you want to have fun. Marines are the most powerful characters in =I= and thus, not a lot of fun to play with or against when going on a rampage. Same with super-death Inquisitors and psykers with too many powers. Or lowly thieves with bolt pistols for that matter. First thing to know when playing Inquisitor: FORGET ALL ABOUT NORMAL 40K, THIS IS BEYOND THAT. In this game, even a laspistol is lethal and a threat.

Inquisitor players that want to do their part for the Medusa V campaign can download this file and read on how they can help out with the campaign.

I think I want to start a Heritical Adeptus Mechanicus, with a bunch of Chrono Gladiators and Sevitors, so I can be the bad guy. All my friends have Inquisitors, (Not super Powerful ones. BAsic for the most part, maybe one or two pysic powers on the table) and one guys has a bunch of Cultists. So, I think I outnumber them with my Mech army of Evil. Bwahahaha!

Any good resources for other races in Inquisitor? I've downloaded everything available on Specialist Games, so I have plenty on Genestealers, Eldar, and "insert random alien here", but I was thinking along the lines of suggested stats/skills/equipment for Orks, Necrons, Tau, Necrons, and others.
Obviously, I can build them up from scratch, but it'd be nice to know what the community thinks... 3nodding

There are however stats for the Water Caste traders of the Tau.

As a narrative game in which your factions are decidedly anti-Xenos, I would've assumed there would've been more call for alien statistics. While I'm not adverse to creating my own (I'll post them here for feedback whenever I get around to it), I guess I had simply assumed that someone would've done it before me at some point.
I did, actually, find Kroot on GW's Spain website. Boggles my mind sometimes how different the national sites can be.

Simply not their place or too powerful. Eldar and mercenary Kroot are good for the game, as they can fill out a certain role of plot device or as a member of the retinue. Orks or Necrons on the other hand, they were left out with good reason. Both are quite powerful, too much in fact, much like marines and would they fill a real role in the game other then special one-off characters? I personally think not. You will not see an Inquisitor take along an Ork or be chased by a lone Necron. Eh, my two cents.

Very good cents.
I can see where they don't fit into Inquisitor as presented. I'm using Inquisitor to essentially afford 40k-based roleplay on my own forums, in which I'd like to have contact with any number of races (the characters aren't playing Inquisitors, but rather a Rogue Trader and entourage).
Specifically, I was looking at modifying the Medusa V campaign thing you posted earlier, where the characters enter a Necron monolith. I mean, it wouldn't be unreasonable for one or two of the entombed Necrons to wake up at the most inopportune moment, eh?

Still, one of the things with Inquisitor is, it can be easily adapted to 28mm models.

Lt. Brookman When they wake up, they wake up in droves, never alone. True. Equally inopportune, though. whee Quote: Still, one of the things with Inquisitor is, it can be easily adapted to 28mm models. That is extremely nifty. Unlikely, though, since my friends can rarely be pressured into buying miniatures. Additionally, the game's forum-based since my friends and I are separated by an ocean. sweatdrop

You will not see an Inquisitor take along an Ork or be chased by a lone Necron. Well GW made a set of rules for Genestealers, so what's wrong with some Orks? I think that it would make some interesting conventions, just like Space Marines. Maybe an "epic" bout of Inquisitor with a few Space Marines, an Inquisitor, some Flagellants and Assassins against a band of Orks. The only issue I would see would be balancing it, but a few test games could take care of that.
