"It wasnt that" he said after he had calmed down a bit and looked up at the other "it was the fact that I have no idea what DGB or DTC or whatever it is called actually is, im new to this. I havent been around others like you have or learnt what you have so I honestly have no idea what that is" he admited to the other, picking up his cream and taking a sip.

"Oh." Keahi slumped a bit, not sure whether to feel relief or disappointment - because he knew that now he'd have to explain. "Er... GHB... it's a date rape drug." He allowed himself a sheepish and very apologetic grin before continuing. "Someone puts it in your drink and it's as if you have been anesthetized. Supposedly it has little or no flavor and it dissolves... For a while you act and feel extremely drunk before passing out, and you do not wake up." Cupping his chin in his hand, he wondered if he had heard that it was actually a veterinary drug or if his brain was just suggesting it. "Anyway... I would never do that to you, it was really just a joke about how much you drank..." he tried to explain, though it sounded lame to his own ears.

"Ahh so thats what it is" he said thinking about it for a few moments before continuing "and no, I know you wouldnt hurt me, I trust you, I just was curious as to what it was thats all. I know I can trust you, hell if I cant trust the son of the alpha cat who can I trust?" He said smiling at the other as he picked up his glass of cream and took a sip of it.

"Yeah," Keahi agreed, flushing darkly. Such a statement of trust made him feel horrible for even joking around so irresponsibly. Wondering how his father balanced it out, he averted his gaze and attempted to finish his nachos. Come to think of it, he had not done a very good job of balancing things, had he? Ignatius was miserable.

Blythe carried on eatng his narchos in silence for a little while before looking at the hybrid "are you alright?" He asked, hoping he hadnt said anything that had upset him.

Keahi nodded, feeling a little better after eating. "Yeah, I'm okay. You all right?" he asked automatically in return.

"Ah, don't worry about it," Keahi replied, finishing his plate then wiping his face and hands clean. He ordered another drink and the waiter took his plate away.

"Alright" he said to the fire hybrid as he carried on eating his narchos, his phone letting out an oriental tune as he recived a text message. "This is from Ly, excuse me" he said he wiped his hands and picked it up, opening his phone he read the message, moments later he put the phone down. "He asked his brother Tamaska and apparently his friend, Tamaskas I mean, is a cat that goes by that name but other then that he didnt say anything else for whatever reason.
I will talk to Tamaska when I get home, see if I can get anything out of him" he said as he ate some more of his narchos.

Keahi nodded and politely looked away as Blythe used his phone. In the time it took him to find out what the others had to say, Keahi's drink arrived and he savored it contentedly. The hot, strong aroma and the flavor warmed him in ways other than the physical. It comforted the mind and calmed the soul, and without consciously doing so, the vulpine firecat smiled.
He looked up as Blythe spoke to him. With a nod he said, "Good, I hope you get somewhere with this."

Blythe spoke to the waiter before he left and ordered an the drink his friend did prior, an alaholic coffee sounded nice right about now "yes, I hope so to" he agreed as he ate another chip. "I guess I will keep you updated?" He said to him, assuming if another cat anthro came here, IF it was who he hoped it would be of couse. The alpha cats son would like to know his father has another cat added to the pack, if not let the alpha cat know himself.

"If you like, I would be most appreciative." Keahi smiled at Blythe, not wanting to pry into his personal business but wanting to know all the same. "Pack business and all," he added, then drank some more of his piping hot Irish creme.

Keahi eyed Blythe for a moment with a tentative smirk. Was he actually flirting? Vaguely. "Heh." He chuckled and went back to the Irish Cream coffee.

Blythe finished his cream and carried on eating as his coffee came, he gave the guy any empty dishes and let him go, eyeing the other up a little before continuing. Hmm he is cute, granted I have only seen him from a distance before but yes, he is rather cute that cant be denied and is sweet to he thought to himself. Blythe smiled at his thoughts as he carried on eating, knowing that silence wasnt exactly great but the company was, that should count for something right?
