((Hey guys. Sorry - I was away for a few days, and then I didnt know what to write, but... Yea. sweatdrop ))
"Yea. It's Blank - Strange name, huh?" he said to Ryuk and shrugged, ignoring the dulling pain that shot down his arm. The group was nearing the forest now, of which Blank was happy. He had always enjoyed the feeling of the warm sun on his skin, but there was something about the forest that was just comforting. The smells, the sun peeking through the foliage of the tress, the little animals scurrying about - He loved everything about it. Perhaps training in the forest as he grew up made him more accustom to it, he wasn't sure. But right now, he was becoming nostalgic, and yet a bit anxious at the same time. Within this forest was the location of the CCC, he was sure. They were getting closer, if he remembered correctly. After all, it had been a while since ran away.

"So, Blank," Arashi said a while they walked, "You are a member of The Contolio, right? This would mean that you have been to the headquarters before. Are you returning from some sort of mission or something?"

As everyone else headed toward wear Ryuk was leading, Phit hesitated. Should I go with them? I guess I should go with them. Stop Running Phit! Phit followed the rest of them, a little behind them all.

((Welcome back, Phit!))
Blank gave Arashi a sideways smile. "Actually, I haven't been back to the base in years." Pausing a moment, he then added, "I - well, something happened back then that caused me to leave. I became a wandering member of Contolio. My orders - to 'seek and destroy' mutated beasts, basically." Blank looked at Arashi and shrugged slightly. "To tell the truth, I kind of miss being taking on missions with my unit, but..." his voice trailed off.
He really did miss them - Zidane, Marcus, Cinna, and the others - but it could never go back to the way things were. Returning would allow him to see them, or at least the ones that were still there. People were often transferred to different units or relocated to another location, so it wouldn't be surprising if his old friends were gone. But then again, what if he did see them again? What would he say to them? What would they say to him? 'Probably call me a coward for running. Or at least Baku would,' he smirked.
Returning to his senses, Blank looked up at the lush trees and grinned. "Well, at least we're getting closer! The Contolio Control Center should be within this forest." Looking around, he started to search for healing herbs for his shoulder. At the same time he asked, "So, Arashi, why do you wish to join anyway?"

"Actually, it's a family matter. My home is constantly plagued with attacks from these mutated beasts. I want to join the Contolio so that I can learn new and better ways of eradicating them. Hopefully, someday, I can return to my home and destroy the beasts there. Then I can teach these new techniques to my family and they will no longer have to live in such fear." Arashi said as he walked.

((This is such a slow rp, was it slow the first time you made this?))
Ryuk walked over to his tree that he had been on before going after the beasts and climbed it. The stuff still on the limb. He smirked and grabbed it before finding a vine like thing and sliding down it. He glanced over at Blank and waited for him to say what he was saying before interupting, "I found what you need." He held up the herbs, "And for anyone else that might." He sighed, he sure as heck needed it.

((Well, I didn't make it, first of all, but it really just goes at any pace we put it. The first one was a -No Application RP- and the GM didn't stay with the roleplay, so everyone really had control over what happened. This one should be pretty much the same - everyone has control, but we added rules to organize it a little. I think its going so slow now because were not sure what is going to happen when we get to the CCC. But traveling takes time, too, so it would be a little strange if we were to just show up at our destination. >.>''))
"I see," Blank said as he thought about Arashi's goal. "I'll help you anyway I can!" he then added cheerfully. Once Ryuk found the herb that they were looking for, Blank smiled and suggested that they should stop for a while to fix their wounds. "It should only take a moment," he looked at the others. Their group was larger now, and he didn't want to hold them all up, but he figured the majority could use some ointment on their scratches as well.
Taking a seat in a small clearing, Blank began to unwrap his shoulder. The bleeding had fully stopped by now and was starting to heal. Carefully he used the old wrap to wipe away the blood on his skin, and grimaced at the ugliness of the wound. "Well this looks good," he muttered jokingly. It was deeper than the usual scratches, but not that bad, especially compared to the number done on his back a while ago. It was a rough battle, and they even had to retreat to the hospital for treatment. But because of their little mishap, they managed to meet Avari, who was a nurse at hospital at the time.
"So what are your reasons for traveling?" Blank asked the others - Phit, Ryuk, and Akuri -, trying to make conversation during their little stop.

Arashi stopped along with the others in order to give their wounded some time to care for themselves. He stood mostly off to one side but still nearest to Blank whom he sensed nothing but goodwill from.
I wonder what sort of rank Blank holds within The Contolio? He definately has great leadership abilities. And he seems to genuinely care about people, which would make people more eager to follow him. I think when the time is right I'll take him up on his offer. Now I know that I will have at least one member of The Contolio aiding me in eliminating the monsters around my home. And I haven't even gotten to the base yet.

((It would be nice if it was a tad faster))
Ryuk started the treatment, trying to help the man in front of him as much as possible, "I'm trying to get away from the attacks," He stated simply. He winced slightly as he moved his arm but this was nothing, he had to get through this no matter what.
Putting a few more things on his back Ryuk stepped back and looked at his work with satisfaction, "That should help." He said with some happiness behind what he said.

(it goes kinda based on how the people want it. . . sometimes fast sometimes slow. . .now it's slow. . .when we fight it gets more fast paced. . . .when theres story or things that are interesting. . .it's more medium. . .just kinda gotta go with the flow)
Seriph walked silently through the forest with his sister at his heals. She was like Seriph in her natural distrust of strangers, however while Seriph was aggressive, Jania was more shy and passive.
Seriph had felt like someone was following him and him alone for a few days now and that feeling at increased dramatically after they had entered the plains. Seriph had thought the feeling would go away when the group entered the forest but it seemed to increase. The rest of the new party seemed to relax a little bit into their no group but Seriph was alert for anything that might give away who he thought was following him.

((Wow, two posts in one day for me. I'd say that's going faster, heh.))
Blank fixed his own shoulder and wrapped it with the gauze that Seriph had handed him earlier. Now that he was all patched up, he threw the roll back gracefully to his friend and relaxed as the others finished up. "That would probably be difficult," Blank then said to Ryuk. "Attacks have been taking place everywhere, and it seems more frequently in inhabited places now." He looked briefly at Seriph, Jania, and Avari, as if to convey what he was personally thinking about. One of their reasons for heading toward the CCC, after all, was to report the notion of mutated beasts being controlled. Many these days seemed to be attacking cities and towns, namely people that have developed 'abilities' from radiation. And all of the monsters that Blank had seen do this, thus far, had been wearing some sort of collar. 'I'd say that's a good bet that someone's controlling them,' he snorted silently. But the question was: Why?

Phit was hesitant to answer. I shouldn't tell them, Im a mutant myself. They hanen't said anything that would lead you to beleive they hated human mutants. Yes, but they haven't said anything to lead you to beleive they were all for them either. "I am basically traveling away. Away from where I used to be." She paused and then asked. "So, Im just curiouse. Are human mutants dangerouse to? Do we kill them as well?" She was hoping they would just figure that is what she was running from.

{{ Ack, sorry for not posting! D; I've been distracted with a lot lately. @ ~@;;; Have a fun trip, Blank. ^^ }} .
Avari looked around, silver eyes flashing as she scanned the shadows of the thick forest. She didn't like the idea that there were so many places the beasts could hide. There was a great amount of dense shrubbery here, meaning lots of areas for unwelcomed guests to sneak about undetected. For now, the best she could do was keep her eyes open as the others rested.
The girl glanced back to the group. Besides Blank, Seriph, and Jania, she still didn't really know them. She decided to keep her distance for now - she couldn't be truly sure of their intentions. Besides, she was awkward and unfomfortable in front of strangers. She didn't want to embarrass herself just yet.
But it seemed that she would have to forgo her reservations this once. Avari smiled sadly to herself as she watched Blank tie his bandages. It wouldn't last long that way...
"Attacks have been taking place everywhere, and it seems more frequently in inhabited places now."
Catching his glance, Avari had to agree... from personal experience. The animals were becoming bolder. There had been an increase in the frequency of attack-related injuries in the hospital, even. And after seeing those collars, one had to wonder...
"I'm sorry... may I?" asked Avari with a gentle smile, kneeling down beside Blank where he was sitting. Pulling at the bandage gingerly, she unraveled it a ways before pulling the strip tight again and rewrapping it. "It's just that... I know you'll be moving around a lot, so... if you don't want it to come off, you should tie it this way," she said, speaking as she worked. Her hands moved methodically over the wrappings, the motion quick and assured with years of practice. "It's hard to do it yourself..." She pulled the bandage tight, completing the knot and leaving the wrappings snug and comfortable. "Is that good?" she asked Blank, giving a small smile.
She stood, wondering if any of the others were wounded. Even if she didn't know them, it would be rude of her not to offer help, she decided. She had to be brave this once. Avari looked around shyly. "Oh, and... um, if anyone needs help with anything... I have bandages, and... I mean, I worked at a hospital before, so..." She bit her lip.
Yep. She always felt awkward around large groups of people she didn't know.

"Mutated Humans generally aren't a threat. It's only if the mutation has affected their mind." Seriph said quietly as he came to stand by the girl named Phit. "In fact I used to travel with a mutated human for a while. . his senses were developed allot higher then my own. It was very useful and we became quiet good friends. I've only met 2 more mutated humans after him. Both were very friendly and dead useful."

"I'm glad that you're not against all mutants. Otherwise I'd have to leave this little group. The radiation gave me slightly heightened strength. Nothing extraordinary, just slightly above what I should be at given my size and current fitness." Arashi said.
