Elnara couldn't help but laugh. "What is it with you guys and having stowaways in your bags when you go there?" she grinned. Then she became serious once more. "But I guess I know now how you felt, Kara, when Nina was missing the first time ..." Skye quickly became mesmerized by the feeling of her wings being stroked, and she closed her eyes blissfully and put her head against Lore's stomach. "But where did you go?" Celebor interrupted quickly. "And why did Skye get to go but not me? I wanna go somewhere!" He pouted a bit.

Serenity smiled and ruffled Celebor's hair. "They came to visit me and some of our friends in the place where your Mommy grew up."
It seemed safe enough to refer to it that way, since he had done so first.

Kara smiled a bit, "Yes well... I most certainly did not expect it. I guess from now on we really should check our bags before going in, twice it's happened. Though they were very well behaved," Kara smiled at Celebor, "Well your sister just happened to be taking a nap."

Celebor crossed his arms and pouted. "I want to go," he mumbled, slinking into the couch and nearly disappearing beside his grandmother. "Mommy said I could go but Skye went instead, and I even studied real hard and I can read and write and talk and everything."
Elnara sighed a bit. Celebor was right: she had promised him. But was she ready to go? ... well, perhaps to visit Ulrich and Ulani again ...
She looked at Lore. "What do you think?" she asked him softly. "Perhaps when Mother goes back, we might go for a short visit?"

Serenity remained silent, watching Lore and Elnara carefully. She was curious to know exactly how things were between them - thus far she could see nothing conclusive, except for the fact that he was here to meet the family, and that Skye was as clingy to him as Serenity had expected her to be to Elnara.
But the mere fact that she was asking him when and not if they would go visit the Four Lands ...
Suddenly she blinked and looked down at Celebor. "Read and write and speak?" she questioned him, her expression curious. "In your mommy's language, then?"
At such a young age - that was impressive.

"Celebor....." Kara replied gently but in a warning voice, "I told you it was an accident, I know your mommy promised you, but don't start pouting now. Skye didn't even know, and she wanted to be home really bad, so be nice."
Even though she could understand what Celebor was getting at, poor kid, but still, he was going to have to learn.

Triton mused at this situation with a smile, and wondered if someone should warn Serenity the growth rate month the specially adopted children. Perhaps on a later date, maybe someone who grow while she was here, the surprises had been at this stage for quite a while so far.

"I think that would be a fine idea," Lore nodded with a smile as he tried to tickle Skye under the chin, even though he had a feeling it would work.
Her daughter was a little kitten stuck in an angel's body.
"It would be good for a first visit," he nodded, and he could arrange for a day off.. or two.... there was a thought.

Celebor still wasn't very happy, but he nodded sulkingly at Kara and mumbled, "Yes, Gramma." He perked up a bit listening to Lore and Elnara - he knew they wouldn't dare go there without him - and then turned to his nako and grinned, and ran off a long string of elvish ... showing off, yet again.Skye's eyes closed halfway and her wings started their purring, and she lifted her chin just a little bit to make it easier for Lore to continue. Elnara smiled warmly at Lore, her thoughts whirling. "I'm just wondering ..." she murmured thoughtfully. Well, first things first. The question was, should she let Kara see first or take everyone all at once? ....

Serenity's eyes grew wide, and she replied back to him also in elvish, and laughed.
"Does anyone else here speak elvish?" she asked generally, looking around the room.

Kara shook her head with a laugh, "Not me... though Yue and Yukito might know a bit," seeing as they were fast learners and had stayed where Elvish was the language of choice.

Lore shook his head, trying to focus on Skye, since it was easier than gaining attention. He wasn't use to talking in a large group like this, but he supposed he was going to have to learn sooner or later.
"No... not the elvish you know."

"I never picked it up," Triton admitted, even with his time spent there he only knew a few words, but could not speak it. Languages were not his speciality as far as normal schooling went, numbers had more his suit.

Skye and the young Serenity didn't answer their nako's question - Skye because she hadn't heard it (obviously), and Serenity because she was still too shy with her grandmother. But since the question had in fact been answered, Elnara brought up another topic.
"Kara, while you were gone I made that trip to the Seconds' world," she said slowly, a smile spreading across her face. "I brought all three home."
Celebor looked at Elnara curiously. "All three what?" he asked.
