Really, it couldn't be glamor, because the dim glow of aqua was constant in the dark. Very dim like something that glows in the dark after being under light.
"Magia? Maldicion, Amiga!!! I've witnessed what I'd call magic when this crystal orb thing was replaced with mi hermana! I'm in a real gullible state right now. Hell if you told me I was some magic being or this ball was more than a crystal, or... if I could FLY," she flailed an arm up into the air, hand gesturing at the sky. "I'd believe you, chica," spoken calmly, almost smiling.
"...but si, si. This is best spoken private. Is this chico going too...?" She jerked her head at Chai in a gesturing manner, still keeping eye contact with Sky.

She glanced to Chai and shook her head, a little sadly. "No...He'll be returning to the underground...I'm sure. Just you, me, and Lex."
She smiled. She didn't know about flying...She only flew in dreams where they were somewhat harmless. Everything else she spoke of was true or was possibly true.

"Then what are we waiting for, yah? Let's go. Lead the way, chica." She half-bowed, both arms gesturing ahead of her in a "go ahead" fashion. Lani wanted to get out of here, fast. "You HAVE to be as sick of being in a gown as I am, si?"
She looked at Lex, flicking her bangs from her face, eyes aglow dimly all the while. If she freaked him out with her glowing gaze just now... well, she didn't mean to. She had no control over her damned eyes. "Coming, poor confused amigo?"

Chai smiled and waved them off.
"I have to get home i'm sure, it's good that the pets fell into hands of ones so reliable. I look forward to any future meetings" Hyde came up, dressed in a plain and smart suit.
"we should go Doctor Chai"
"of coarse, Miss Draggonov and friends" Chai siad, tilting his head down. He turned around and followed Hyde up the path. It was amazing how in other situations Chai was a complete moron, but anything work related always got 100% seriousness.

Sky curtsied the best she could.
"Another time Doctor Chai."
With that, she turned around and smiled, graciously taking her new house guests for the evening by the arms and moving away. The good underground doctor shattered her nerves in what she was sure was not a pleasant way.

"Poor... confused amigo?" Lex repeated before it dawned on him that she was talking to him. "Oh! Sorry, yeah I'm coming." he said with a playful smile, "Please, call me Lex."
He turned to see the strange doctor leave with another before Sky had his arm and was leading him away. "This will be interesting." He commented wondering what it would be like to stay at someone else's house. Someone who didn't leave their dirty socks and moldy pizza boxes everywhere.

She smiled again to everyone who was left, if any, in the ballroom, escorting them outside the building for her limo that awaited. The driver was a little surprised. Two?
She just smiled sweetly to him as he opened the door and she had them scoot in before she'd follow inside.
"Interesting will be basic to this evening..."

"Lex, then. But I call people amigos a lot. I'm just like that, oh-kay?" She smiled widely, and followed them to the car on Sky's other arm.
When in the car, "Can't wait to get out of this gown. But you know what sly li'yl me did?" She WAS going to her friend's house, before the puta left her with a guy, thus spoiling their sleepover. Lani pulled the bottom of her gown up to her mid-calf to show off some plaid pajama bottoms, and laughed. "I wore my PJ's under my gown," she laughed some more. She found this very amusing!
She considered bringing up their former topic; the orbs, magic, so on. But then she figured she'd wait a bit longer 'til Lex wasn't... quite as confused. Let the man get over it, right?

Lex made himself comfortable in the car and raised an eyebrow at her. "Why in the world would you do that?" He asked with a chuckle, shaking his head. "But then again... I guess you could say I'm wearing mine as well. I don't own any pajamas I usually just take my shirt and belt off and sleep in what I'm wearing." He added with a smile rather than a chuckle.
It was times like this that made him wish he had a little more than he had. He didn't even have a bed or mattress. He slept on some spear bed covers with simply a sheet to cover him.

Sky looked out the window a moment as the door closed and she waved to the driver that it was safe to head home. She turned back Lani as she revealed her pjs and giggled.
"I wish I could do that sometimes...just wear pjs to work and stay like that...unfortunately my desk isn't the most comfortable of places to sleep. You can ask Alex that."
She studied Lex now. "You said you didn't work...but what kind of skills do you have?"

Lani snickered at Lex, "Mi amiga an' I were gonna have a sleepover. But that was spoiled. Still glad I wore PJs underneath, since I ain't goin' home, yannow? I wear PJs at home all day when I ain't going out and about. A couple times I've worn PJ bottoms to work," she giggles. "But only on days I'm doin' jigs and not waitressing."
She too looked at Lex after Sky threw in her question. Lani was a bit interested in hearing, as well.

"Skills?" Lex repeated with a blank look. "I guess it depends on your definition." He said with a shrug. He couldn't really think of anything that he had skills in. None that he wanted to mention anyway. He was a little embarrassed about the only job he'd had, which he quit in the previous year. The question brought a light crimson colour to his cheeks, which he tried desperately to get rid of or at least hide.

"Well a lot of people could do that. It's not that hard. I actually used to own my own business and I had to do all the paperwork and ordering in all the new stuff and everything myself. The girl's I hired to help never did they're job properly, but they were damn good stylists in the making." Lex said with a slight shrug.
