Abyss_Jin Sorry, I live in the Maritimes. Still no new news on when Doctor Who is coming here, aside from sometime in June. Do you think they will show The Runaway Bride? I really want to see it... >.< My TV Guide mentioned it as being "sometime in July" and had a small pic of Ten next to it. At least it even got a mention! Only b/c someone wrote in wanting to know when SciFi would show it. Last mention it got here was when Eccleston joined Heroes and it mentioned him being Nine. *sigh*

Well, at least they are considering showing it...It doesn't help that the Doctor Who section of the CBC website is out-of-date and not that well put together. At least, that's my view on it.

Nine is gonna be on UNC, Ten (Series 2) on BBCA, and the new Ten Series Three on Sci-Fi! And Torchwood sometime on BBCA also.. sweet summer!!! heart

They do Public Television in North Carolina. Each state has their own PBS station, & the signal is sometimes strong enough to be picked up in adjoining states, so Ceribri can get it in Virginia. Are you in the Tidewater area, Ceribri? I have friends in Newport News & I know they get UNC.

My grandpa gets UNC 'cuz he hooked up this really tall old outdoor antenna for his TV long long time ago. ^o^ And apparently SciFi channel over here you have to pay extra for. So worth it though!

That stinks! I get Sci Fi on my basic extended cable. Don't have to go to the Digital tier. My friends said they don't get UNC but their friends in the country will. That's odd because I'd swear they used to get it. Cox must have changed the lineup or something. Or it's because they got a more advanced lineup in order to be able to get BBCA.

Well I dunno...I thought it was basic too, so maybe it is. I know BBCA is probably a bit more though. And if you get UNC depends on how high up you are..like in a big hotel you could get vastly better reception and whatnot...

Right, still no word for Aus... apparantly the only reason they haven't bought it/ are getting it in July is becuase they can't afford it xp
Same goes for Torchwood, I think. Too poor xd Well from what I've read, we will get DW in July, but... I guess we'll just have to wait for an exact date.
Any news on other... places?
(tch, my first successful thread, I'm not letting it die this easily)

I once heard the program was sold to & showing in a hundred markets, so you'd think you would hear more about Who around the world, wouldn't you? I wonder in how many of those hundred it succeeded & are still buying it?
