No, the betas don't have to be mates. The betas play the part of the bodyguards. So they have to be strong and wise, able to take down their enemies (hopefully shown in the contest) But yes, the betas do not have to be related in the way of mates and can breed with lower members of the pack so long as the alphas permit it.
And no worries Remove, we'll wait on the contest until you return from hols. It'll give me time on deciding how it will work etc...

Oooh, I was wondering, when she grows up (since she's now a teen), provided that the slot hasn't already been filled, would it be possible for her to become a priestess, or try to become a priestess? xd

She's a teen? Aw I must have missed her growth. I bet she's gorgeous~ *ponders* I'll have to think on that one. It is possible I think and she definately has the mindset of a Priestess.
We'll chat and plot some more, but yes I wouldn't rule it out just yet.

YAY! Subforum is here guys! I've had all RPs moved there (the ones from my log list) so any new RP you start up can now be done in the subby. I'll set up a mule and get things running asap!
Also, there is going to be a pack-wide plot very, very soon. It'll probably happen after the betas have been decided.
